About: I am a former dog owner of an 18 year old Cockapoo I lost 1,5 years ago. Prior to this I cared for my 19 year old Spaniel/terrier. In addition, I am listed on Trusted House sitters as a Five star House/pet sitter. My last girl, I took care of her in Pallative state, administering, meds, special allergy bathing , going to the Vet for fluids and other treatments. Carry her down the deck stairs for her potty time when her ability was no longer there to climb up and down stairs etc. I had both of my dogs as a puppy and trained them with some dog trainers and my own training. I still have bedding, dishes, wire and mesh crate, toys! I am retired, I have some spare time depending on some days between appointments and trips into Ottawa. I would be more available during the day and early evenings I have a fenced yard, with plenty of grass down below the deck area. I am close to walking trails and sidewalks outside of my home. I do have a wired and mesh crate. I may administer some oral medication. Walk, feed, give lots of love, hugs and attention to your fur baby!

About: Your pet will enjoy 3 walks a day and open access to our 10 acre hobby farm just on the outskirts of kemptville (just a few minutes from the 416 for easy drop off and pick up ). Most Saturdays guests will Also enjoy a walk on the historic town of merreckville. Everyone in our household loves spending time with dogs, so rest assured while you are away your pet will receive our full attention . Both my husband and I are retired and are able to spend quality time with your pet every day. Starting with a morning walk on the property(dogs leashed at all times). We have several trail systems in our area to also provide afternoon walks We gave 40 years of experience with our own dogs and also taking care of family dogs when required. When we walk our dogs are always leashed . Visiting dogs are free to lounge on the back deck or lawns and will always be tethered

Lots of physical exercise in the yard and on trails and at the river. I have had a dogs and cats, birds and rabbits since childhood. I am very responsible and kind and fun. About: I have taken care of dogs most of my life. I have often had more than 1 at a time and can’t imagine life without a fur baby. There truly is nothing like doggie love 💜. Friends and family know they can depend on me to care for their pets as if they were my own. Dogs seem to instinctively know that I am a sucker for a fur face. About: Ive been working with animals ever since I was a little kid. Grew up working with horses and having multiple animals at home! Your pets will be loved and taken well care of till you get back! Will provide updates and photos regularly to reassure you that your pet(s) are being loved and cared for while you are away from home! I’m currently working part-time in Barrhaven. My shifts are on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday’s from 7:00am-3:00pm. I’m confident, attentive, and used to picking up on what animals need, when they need it. I work a shift schedule, so my availability isn’t the same every week, but I’m reliable, communicate early, and only take bookings I can fully commit to. I provide house sitting, walks, and drop-in visits depending on what your pet needs. I keep their routine as close to normal as possible with regular walks, feeding, play, and downtime, and make sure they’re comfortable and settled while you’re away.

Should your pup be too big to carry and incapable of doing several sets of steps, this may not be the home for you :) As I prepare to study for my legal Licensing exams, I will be home all for the next six months to give your pup all the love and attention they deserve! Should there be an occasion where I must go out, my partner may stay home from work to accommodate! Despite my need to study, I love being active and so does my partner! Should your dog require extra walks or exercise, we would love to have them join us ! At minimum, we will include your furry friend on 3 large walks a day. Please continue reading for a description of our daily schedule: Morning: My partner and myself both wake up by about 7am. My partner typically leaves early, while I will be home to study and care for your furry friends. In the morning I will grab coffee and go for a walk of about 30 minutes before 8am, letting your pup out to pee as needed beforehand. Afternoon: In the afternoon, I often aim to go for about 1 hour of a walk minimum. I will go through the forest or alongside our neighborhood which is a quiet and less populated area of Ottawa. In doing so, there is plenty of room and opportunity to roam around should your pup enjoy such activities. Evening: Before dinner, I often like to walk for about 20 minutes prior to giving dinner. After we have all eaten, myself and my partner typically walk for about 45 minutes to one hour. In the evening, we enjoy down time at home, often reading or watching TV. Your furry friend will hang out with us! Before bed, there will be opportunity for one last walk or at least a pee! ** Note that walks and breaks will be given generously throughout the day. There will never be more than a 1-2 hour period without an outdoor break. Myself and my partner are both young professionals. My partner works as an IT consultant in a hybrid model while I work and study from home! We reside in a three story townhome, with ample room for your pup to run free and explore. There is nowhere in our home that is off limits to animals. We do not have a closed in backyard, but rather have our pee breaks in front of the home which faces a large forest and field. When I care for others pets, I typically set alarms for a walk or pee every 45 minutes to 1 hours. This ensures a check in or small pee break will never be forgotten in case of animals not knowing where to alert to go outside. With this in mind, I often take large and longer walks in between pee breaks in order to better break up the day. Please see the Schedule section to see a predicted daily schedule. Despite this, we are active individuals who love to walk and explore, ensuring your pup will have lots of opportunities to pee and explore as they wish 🐶. Please note, we have plenty of room for a crate should your dog require, but we do not posses one at the moment!
