“We had to be away from our Molly, a 2 year old Goldendoodle, for a week and a half while my wife and I went overseas for a trip. We were nervous about leaving Molly as she'd never spent a night away from us, but Danielle made everything so comfortable! “This was Jassper’s 3rd stay with Jennifer, and the longest one. We left for one week for a family vacation, and missed our puppy tremendously! Jennifer was very supportive and consistent with leaving us daily reports and photos of Jasper’s days. I especially loved the photos of him hopping and jumping and having fun in their backyard, which shows how relaxed and at home he felt. I love that when Jasper stays with Jennifer, he becomes a part of the family, and is enjoyed by her children and husband as well. Jasper is like an annoying little brother to Shadow, Jennifer’s dog, but the photos of them laying down todether and walking and running together are precious. I’m very protective of my cats and I tend to worry a lot when I’m away from them, especially because each of them has a different personality and their own little routine. I left Heather quite a lot of details and instructions, and she was incredibly patient, understanding, and respectful of everything. She kept me updated throughout our trip with messages, pictures and videos, which gave me so much peace of mind. What made me happiest was watching our cats gradually become more and more comfortable with her. Even our shy ones started coming around, spending time with her, and eventually even sleeping in her room. It was very clear that she took the time to earn their trust rather than forcing interaction with them. ❤️ Heather went above and beyond in so many ways. She treated our cats and our home with so much care, and I truly felt that they were in safe and loving hands while we were away. About: I am a former dog owner of an 18 year old Cockapoo I lost 1,5 years ago. Prior to this I cared for my 19 year old Spaniel/terrier. In addition, I am listed on Trusted House sitters as a Five star House/pet sitter. My last girl, I took care of her in Pallative state, administering, meds, special allergy bathing , going to the Vet for fluids and other treatments. Carry her down the deck stairs for her potty time when her ability was no longer there to climb up and down stairs etc. I had both of my dogs as a puppy and trained them with some dog trainers and my own training. I still have bedding, dishes, wire and mesh crate, toys! I am retired, I have some spare time depending on some days between appointments and trips into Ottawa. I would be more available during the day and early evenings I have a fenced yard, with plenty of grass down below the deck area. I am close to walking trails and sidewalks outside of my home. I do have a wired and mesh crate. I may administer some oral medication. Walk, feed, give lots of love, hugs and attention to your fur baby!

About: I have had my own dog and/or taken care of friends and family's dogs for close to 40 years. Now that I'm retired, I am home all day and available for walks, potty breaks, playtime throughout the day and evenings. We have nice walking paths for plenty of socialization or quiet streets for those who are more on the timid side. Work is now a thing of the past, ready to spend time with more furry four-leggers and less time with bossy two-leggers lol. My days are all about my dogs, reading and going for walks. I have a fully fenced yard, not a huge yard though which is why we prefer to go for multiple walks a day for exercise. Our dogs are always allowed on our furniture as we see them as a member of the family and not just some pet. Fresh water is always available 24/7.

I love dogs so much and I miss their beautiful love and light, and while I’m not ready to have another one of my own yet, I look forward to caring for your dog as I would my own. Right now I’m currently working in Ottawa for the federal government from Monday to Thursday. I work from home on Fridays, and I am available all weekend and would dedicate every hour to looking after your fur baby. I’m currently in transition to retirement, so I will be available for full-time sitting as of January 1, 2027. For boarding, I am comfortable spending all of my free time outside of work with your baby. I don’t have any obligations that would take me away from focusing on your baby’s care. I also live in a very quiet neighborhood, so it would be a peaceful and enjoyable experience for your little one. I would be able to be home with your baby (Fri, Sat, Sun) but if you’re going on vacation and request more than those 3 days I’m more than happy to do 7 days a week, as long as you’re ok with them being alone on the 4 days I’m in the office (from 7am to 3pm). As of January 1, 2027, I will be fully retired and available 24/7. I have a fully fenced yard and live on a corner lot so there is lots to see and sniff even if just running around my yard, but I am happy to go on lots of leashed walks as well. I’m pretty good at interpreting the signs for potty time, but I love learning as much as I can from you about what your baby’s habits, needs and preferences are. Being a devoted dog Mom for 15 years, I was always extremely careful about making sure my Benji was safe and happy, and I did many things to avoid potential situations, such as crossing the street on walks if another dog looked aggressive, making sure I had eyes on him at all times and knowing what he was doing, even when sniffing the ground, making sure nothing was on the ground that could be hazardous. Nothing was more important to me than protecting my Benji and also making him feel super loved and relaxed. Trust is so important when choosing a dog-sitter. I’ve had a few negative experiences when I needed one in the past, so I know how awful it can be to search and have to settle for mediocre care when in a pinch, so it’s important to me to offer the utmost in care for your baby and for you to be assured that they are in good hands. I’ve had very positive experiences using Rover in the past as a dog owner & I’m excited to now be able to give positive experiences to other pet parents as a dog-sitter. About: While I don’t currently have a dog of my own, I’ve spent years caring for dogs through family, friends, and my time helping at a veterinary clinic. During that time, I gained hands-on experience handling dogs of different sizes and temperaments, assisting with their care, and accompanying them to obedience training classes. I understand the importance of patience, positive reinforcement, and maintaining a safe, structured routine. Whether your dog loves long walks, playtime, or simply relaxing with good company, I’ll provide dependable, loving care and treat them like they’re part of my own family. I’m currently not working and would love to spend my down time caring for animals as it has always been a passion of mine. Schedule is pretty flexible. I believe pets are happiest when they can stay in the comfort of their own home and maintain their normal routine. I take the time to learn each pet’s schedule, including feeding, walks, playtime, medications (if needed), and any special instructions. I provide plenty of attention, affection, and enrichment while also respecting each pet’s individual personality and comfort level. I currently provide care in my clients’ homes rather than my own, as I want to ensure every pet is in the environment where they feel safest and most relaxed. I’ll also keep you updated with photos and messages, so you can have peace of mind knowing your pet is happy and well cared for while you’re away.
About: We're in the process of opening a kennel on our 27 acre homestead, until then, we're here on Rover! Let us give your pets an enriching experience while you're away, and you peace of mind that they are in not one but two sets of good hands. Our dog Styx loves all pets, big and small, but we also have experience and infrastructure for some personal space if your pet takes a little longer to warm up or has special needs. We are currently building a kennel on our wooded retreat, and in the meantime, our home is open! We are home full-time and spend our days outside tending to the property, bringing your pets along, with lots of water and indoor breaks. We have a fenced yard and the house is able to be segmented off depending on the needs (puppy pen, cat area with dogs, cat area dog free, day crated, whatever your comfort is.
About: I have taken care of dogs most of my life. I have often had more than 1 at a time and can’t imagine life without a fur baby. There truly is nothing like doggie love 💜. Friends and family know they can depend on me to care for their pets as if they were my own. Dogs seem to instinctively know that I am a sucker for a fur face. I am truly excited to have made a career change that will allow me to embrace my passion for pets. I work part time ( mostly from home). I am flexible as I schedule my own hours and can work around any special requirements you may have. I live in a rural area with a large yard. I usually go out walking with my dogs for an hour in the morning and a half hour in the afternoon. I do have some long leads by the door for quick potty breaks. I am home during the day and love to have cuddles and play time.

About: I’ve grown up with dogs and cats my whole life - medium and large breeds, all kinds of personalities - so pet care has always been second nature to me. I’ve solo-cared for my own pets for weeks at a time, and I’ve stepped in for friends and family for both short visits and extended stays. In high school, I took a veterinary prerequisite course and completed a co-op at a vet office, where I got hands-on experience caring for animals and learned how to administer medication in both pill and liquid form. I’m comfortable working with pets that have allergies or need to stick to a strict feeding and bathroom schedule. My love for animals goes beyond dogs and cats - I’ve kept leopard geckos, and I grew up next to a farm where I regularly visited the retired horses just to keep them company. I’ve always been drawn to animals that need a little extra attention and care. I’m comfortable lifting and carrying larger dogs, and I genuinely love going on walks and playing, whether that’s in the home or out at the park. Your pet will be in experienced, loving hands. I work a standard 9–5 during the week, so I focus my sitting availability on Friday evenings and full weekends. On weekends I’m completely free and happy to stop by for in-home visits, take your pup out for a walk, or even bring them along for a drive. I come to you — so your pet stays comfortable in their own space and never has to adjust to a new environment. Whether you need a quick check-in or someone to spend a good chunk of the day with your dog, I’ve got the time and the enthusiasm for it. During my visits I’ll make sure your pet is fed on schedule, has fresh water, gets bathroom breaks, and gets plenty of playtime and affection. I’m happy to take them out for walks or a drive if they need more stimulation or just love being out and about. I’ll follow whatever feeding, medication, or care routine you have in place — whether that’s managing allergies, sticking to a strict schedule, or administering medication in pill or liquid form. I treat every home with respect and every pet like they’re my own:)
About: I’ve been house and pet-sitting since I was 16. Always making sure my friends and family can step away with zero stress and their fur babies are the star of the show! I’ve taken care of small to medium sized mostly, but large dogs a few times. No matter where I go, pets gravitate towards me! My schedule is very flexible and I have great knowledge of the city with reliable transportation. I play sports in the evening a few days a week but nothing that can’t be worked around I will ensure I study the area my clients live in and discuss the areas and routines your pets are accustomed to. About: Your pet will enjoy 3 walks a day and open access to our 10 acre hobby farm just on the outskirts of kemptville (just a few minutes from the 416 for easy drop off and pick up ). Most Saturdays guests will Also enjoy a walk on the historic town of merreckville. Everyone in our household loves spending time with dogs, so rest assured while you are away your pet will receive our full attention . Both my husband and I are retired and are able to spend quality time with your pet every day. Starting with a morning walk on the property(dogs leashed at all times). We have several trail systems in our area to also provide afternoon walks We gave 40 years of experience with our own dogs and also taking care of family dogs when required. When we walk our dogs are always leashed . Visiting dogs are free to lounge on the back deck or lawns and will always be tethered
