About: I’ve loved animals for as long as I can remember, and I’ve been caring for them since I was 12 years old. Growing up, I often looked after my neighbours’ cats, dogs, and rabbits while they were away - something i relished, as I wasn't allowed my own pet in the house (excluding fish, which i had many- i took what i could get!). Since moving out I have adopted several cats of my own and have continued to pet sit for friends regularly (both cats and dogs). They know they can always count on me if they need a sitter. :) Caring for animals has always felt like something that comes naturally to me; I love getting to know their individual personalities, routines, and little quirks. Most recently, I have cared, on multiple occasions, for three elderly and sick cats. Each has different health needs, medications, and eating schedules, so I made sure to carefully follow their routines and give each one the attention and care they needed. I also provided regular updates to assuage any understandable fears that the parents had. I’m reliable, responsible, and very attentive, and I understand how much trust goes into leaving your pets in someone else’s care. My goal is always to make your pets feel comfortable and loved while you’re away, and to give you peace of mind knowing they’re in caring hands. I recently moved from Vancouver Island back to my home city of Ottawa and am currently unencumbered by a full-time job. I am available 24/7 for attentive pet care, ranging from walks, feeding and check-ins, to multiple night stays. When caring for your pet in their own home, I want them to feel as comfortable and relaxed as possible by keeping their usual routine and giving them plenty of love and attention. I’m happy to take care of their everyday needs, including feeding, fresh water, walks, playtime, litter or bathroom breaks, and administering medications when needed. I’ll take the time to follow any specific instructions you leave me and pay close attention to your pet’s behaviour, making sure they are happy, comfortable, and safe throughout my visit. About: I love animals, especially dogs. I like creating a nice environment for them with fresh water, food and play indoors and out. About: While I don’t currently have a dog of my own, I’ve spent years caring for dogs through family, friends, and my time helping at a veterinary clinic. During that time, I gained hands-on experience handling dogs of different sizes and temperaments, assisting with their care, and accompanying them to obedience training classes. About: I had the absolute honour to be a dog Mom for 15 years. My beautiful Benjamin earned his angel wings in September 2023 but I still remember how hard it was to find a loving & attentive dog sitter who had senior dog experience, and it was through Rover that I met some really amazing dog-sitters and I'm forever grateful they were part of Benji's journey. Benji had diabetes for years so I have extensive experience administering needles and oral medication. Benji was also a fussy eater so I’m also used to making meals tasty and the environment super relaxing to ensure your baby is as happy as they can be while you’re away. The primary reason for having a higher-than-average rate is because I promise to provide exceptional, safe, and attentive care to your precious baby. I’m also open to giving very frequent updates and photos to make your experience away from your baby as enjoyable as possible. I’m very mindful of safety rules and making sure you’re little (or big!) one is safe and cared for 24/7. I love dogs so much and I miss their beautiful love and light, and while I’m not ready to have another one of my own yet, I look forward to caring for your dog as I would my own. I love giving lots of cuddles, belly rubs and walks and I aim to make every dog feel super loved and adored. Right now I’m currently working in Ottawa for the federal government from Monday to Thursday. I work from home on Fridays, and I am available all weekend and would dedicate every hour to looking after your fur baby. I’m currently in transition to retirement, so I will be available for full-time sitting as of January 1, 2027. For boarding, I am comfortable spending all of my free time outside of work with your baby. I don’t have any obligations that would take me away from focusing on your baby’s care. I also live in a very quiet neighborhood, so it would be a peaceful and enjoyable experience for your little one. I would be able to be home with your baby (Fri, Sat, Sun) but if you’re going on vacation and request more than those 3 days I’m more than happy to do 7 days a week, as long as you’re ok with them being alone on the 4 days I’m in the office (from 7am to 3pm). As of January 1, 2027, I will be fully retired and available 24/7. I have a fully fenced yard and live on a corner lot so there is lots to see and sniff even if just running around my yard, but I am happy to go on lots of leashed walks as well. I’m pretty good at interpreting the signs for potty time, but I love learning as much as I can from you about what your baby’s habits, needs and preferences are. Being a devoted dog Mom for 15 years, I was always extremely careful about making sure my Benji was safe and happy, and I did many things to avoid potential situations, such as crossing the street on walks if another dog looked aggressive, making sure I had eyes on him at all times and knowing what he was doing, even when sniffing the ground, making sure nothing was on the ground that could be hazardous. Nothing was more important to me than protecting my Benji and also making him feel super loved and relaxed. Trust is so important when choosing a dog-sitter. I’ve had a few negative experiences when I needed one in the past, so I know how awful it can be to search and have to settle for mediocre care when in a pinch, so it’s important to me to offer the utmost in care for your baby and for you to be assured that they are in good hands. I’ve had very positive experiences using Rover in the past as a dog owner & I’m excited to now be able to give positive experiences to other pet parents as a dog-sitter. I’m more than happy to abide by any and all requests or preferences that you have when it comes to your baby and I’d love to know their likes and dislikes and whatever else will make their stay with me the best time ever!

About: Ive been working with animals ever since I was a little kid. Grew up working with horses and having multiple animals at home! Your pets will be loved and taken well care of till you get back! Will provide updates and photos regularly to reassure you that your pet(s) are being loved and cared for while you are away from home! I’m currently working part-time in Barrhaven. My shifts are on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday’s from 7:00am-3:00pm. I am allotted an hour lunch break, so depending on the distance your house is away from my work, I would be more than happy to return to your home and provide any needed potty breaks! I am happy to spend as much time with your animals as you want! Whatever you need done for them, will get done: walks, poop and scoop, cuddles, etc!

About: 5 years of dog care Experience! Between having 2 of my own, I spent over 2 years at a daycare/Boarding facility helping take care of up to 120 dogs a day! About: I’ve grown up with dogs and have had my German Shepard since I was 10. I’ve taken care of a variety of dogs and cats ever since and would love to host your pet. I have trained my dog with patience and will be able to handle absolutely anything! I currently work permanent part time and will be able to take care of your pet whenever I am available. With that said, this includes walks, nutrition, and overall attention to the dog/cat during the entirety of their stay. My house does not have any hazards and has a fenced backyard with a swimming pool. I live in a very safe and beautiful neighbourhood that can accommodate any pet. My house is far from any major road, surrounded by a golf course, and is close to various parks and pathways that the pets may enjoy.
