“Elizabeth is really a gentle sensitive dog lover. I was very happy to have her take care of my dog Penny. She tried to help Penny with some of her insecurities. I also received photos of their walks daily. I will definitely have Elizabeth again ❤️❤️”

“My dog Ava instantly warmed to Katie and seems very content after their walk. Communication has been exceptional and Katie is super friendly. I’m so glad I’ve found someone to give Ava some company and the opportunity to get outside while I’m at work. Will be booking her for recurring walks for sure!”

“The owner of Shakespeare was very nervous about trusting a stranger to look after her precious little dog. With her kindness and cheerful disposition, Bev was able to help both dog and owner to happily adjust to having a dog walker. We are grateful for her help!”

About: I am a huge dog lover of all sizes! I’ve grown up with golden retrievers since I was a kid. My family also owned beagles and chihuahuas. Currently I own one cat, named Jack and a golden retriever named Rusty. Sometimes I dog sit for one of my old coworkers at least once a year when he goes on vacation. I don’t have a fenced in yard however, I live on 1 acre of land in the country with a 30 foot lead tied to a cable that runs from one end of the property to the other. My dog loves it, it gives him lots of room to run. I take Rusty on walks at least twice a day too. My dog gets along great with other dogs, but he is a very playful dog. I’m currently working full-time shift work at transalta OHSC so the schedule rover requires isn’t quite accurate. My availability is something I will update weekly here, however if I am unavailable my boyfriend works 7-5 Monday to Friday and will be able to stop in after work and let your pet outside or feed it if needed! Your pets will be well cared for. We will follow all house and outside rules if provided. Ensure all gates are latched shut and pay full attention to your pet.
About: What sets me apart from other sitters/walkers is my hands-on, professional experience working with dogs of all ages and temperaments and my Canine CPR certification. I’ve cared for large groups of up to 75 dogs in daycare settings, gaining extensive experience with feeding, walking, bathing, brushing, crating, and administering medications. I also worked in the Pet Care department at PetSmart, where I further developed my skills in animal care and handling. I’m comfortable managing multiple dogs at once, even those with very different personalities. I have experience caring for senior dogs with extra needs, as well as helping train young puppies through positive reinforcement and consistency. Beyond my professional background, I’ve grown up in a dog-loving family with two black labs at home—and nine in total when the whole family is together. Managing and understanding dogs comes naturally to me, and I bring calm, capable, and compassionate care to every visit. Typically my availability is quite open and I’m generally free. Send me a message to enquire more about my availability, I’d love to chat with you! When caring for pets in my home or a client’s home, I prioritize safety, structure, and personalized attention. I take time to understand each pet’s unique routine, temperament, and needs, and I adapt my care to make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved. My professional background—including experience in doggie daycare, the Pet Care department at PetSmart, and hands-on care for senior dogs and young puppies—has prepared me to handle everything from medication schedules and crate training to managing dogs with different energy levels or personalities. I also offer reliable, enriching walking services tailored to each dog’s pace and preferences. Whether it’s playtime, walks, meals, or rest, I aim to keep your dog’s day familiar and stress-free. I make sure to keep communication open with pet parents, providing updates, photos and peace of mind while you’re away.

About: I have taken care of dogs most of my life. I have often had more than 1 at a time and can’t imagine life without a fur baby. There truly is nothing like doggie love 💜. Friends and family know they can depend on me to care for their pets as if they were my own. Dogs seem to instinctively know that I am a sucker for a fur face. I am truly excited to have made a career change that will allow me to embrace my passion for pets. I work part time ( mostly from home). I am flexible as I schedule my own hours and can work around any special requirements you may have. I live in a rural area with a large yard. I usually go out walking with my dogs for an hour in the morning and a half hour in the afternoon. I do have some long leads by the door for quick potty breaks. I am home during the day and love to have cuddles and play time.

“Dear Phil and Rover Clients, We had the pleasure of meeting Phil through the Rover website this past April. Our family had planned a nine day trip to Disney World Florida and we needed someone very trustworthy to watch our 5 pound “Fur baby” Bijou, a little Morkie dog of 1 1/2 years old. Phil was very willing to come over to our house for a pre-interview. I could tell from our initial meeting that he was a dog lover. And I was confident that he would take good care of Bijou. Phil showed enthusiasm at the prospect of coming to live with Bijou for nine days in our home. He made us feel comfortable. I was very happy that Bijou would have company and that she would be able to stay in her home and eat her regular food and keep her normal routine. Phil came and went from his other jobs using a car and when necessary bus transit. He took Bijou on very long walks and also explored our neighbourhood with the dog at great lengths using a GPS tracker to show us his route (much further than we have explored, lol). He sent daily photos and videos of our dog, which always sent the kids running to get me saying that “Phil had texted a new picture/video, come see!” When we returned from our vacation, the look on my dog’s face was contentment. She did not show any signs of anxiety or distress, as she had shown in the past having stayed at a kennel. I highly recommend Phil and I have also rebooked him for our coming vacations this summer. The only thing I would do differently if I was to go on such a long vacation again (over a week) would be to have the dog professionally groomed once. The reason for this is because Bijou‘s fur texture is high maintenance because she is a Morkie. And also because it rained quite a bit while we were gone she could have used a professional de-matting process. I hope this helps in your decision for finding a reliable dog sitter. Thanks again Phil. Sincerely, Amy”

“My boy is always excited to see Kassandra and sleeps well after their walks! I was nervous finding someone to walk my reactive dog while I was at work, Kassandra met my expectations and then some. She is professional, experienced with bigger dogs and dog behaviour issues, and has excellent communication skills. 10/10 so glad I found her”
