About: I grew up with pets and have always loved walking, training, and cuddling them! When I got my puppies in 2022, I took on a major role in their care and training. I have experience with both puppies and senior dogs, and have pet-sat for family and neighbours. I am free to walk your dog or drop in for a visit from: Sun, Wed, Sat: 8:30 AM to 10:00 PM Mon, Fri: 4:00 PM to 10:00 PM When caring for pets in your home, I make sure that they get exercise, play time, and cuddles, while following your regular routine to keep your furbaby comfortable and happy.

“Heather was absolutely amazing with our three cats! I’m very protective of my cats and I tend to worry a lot when I’m away from them, especially because each of them has a different personality and their own little routine. I left Heather quite a lot of details and instructions, and she was incredibly patient, understanding, and respectful of everything. She kept me updated throughout our trip with messages, pictures and videos, which gave me so much peace of mind. What made me happiest was watching our cats gradually become more and more comfortable with her. Even our shy ones started coming around, spending time with her, and eventually even sleeping in her room. It was very clear that she took the time to earn their trust rather than forcing interaction with them. ❤️ Heather went above and beyond in so many ways. She treated our cats and our home with so much care, and I truly felt that they were in safe and loving hands while we were away. By the end of the stay, I honestly think they were going to miss her too! 🥰 I would absolutely ask Heather to pet sit for us again without hesitation. Knowing that I now have someone I can trust this much with my babies will make traveling so much easier in the future. I can’t recommend her enough. During that time, I gained hands-on experience handling dogs of different sizes and temperaments, assisting with their care, and accompanying them to obedience training classes. Growing up, I often looked after my neighbours’ cats, dogs, and rabbits while they were away - something i relished, as I wasn't allowed my own pet in the house (excluding fish, which i had many- i took what i could get!). Since moving out I have adopted several cats of my own and have continued to pet sit for friends regularly (both cats and dogs). I recently moved from Vancouver Island back to my home city of Ottawa and am currently unencumbered by a full-time job. I am available 24/7 for attentive pet care, ranging from walks, feeding and check-ins, to multiple night stays. When caring for your pet in their own home, I want them to feel as comfortable and relaxed as possible by keeping their usual routine and giving them plenty of love and attention. I’m happy to take care of their everyday needs, including feeding, fresh water, walks, playtime, litter or bathroom breaks, and administering medications when needed. About: Its never easy to leave fur babies and go away, but have a peace of mind for they have a home full of love, care and to sway. We always had a dog(s) growing up as kids, and at times we had 8 days for a family of 4. Sometimes fostering for family and friends, other times, adopting. It was the best times, coming home to be greeted by your furry siblings, getting the licks, getting the love. We had dogs of multiple breeds and sizes. Sometimes snuggling, other times playing and chasing each other around the house. We want to experience the same love again. Unfortunately due to economic conditions, we cannot get a pet for ourselves yet, but we definitely would share our home, love and care with yours. They are the best companions for walks, jogs, playtime. They are ultimate energy boosters. I work from home most with flexible schedule, so have plenty of time for snuggles, play, walks. My husband's love dogs too (he works from home too), so we are almost always available to host a furry friends. Its important for pets to feel comfort of home, so I follow the routines, instructions, pet, love, snuggle to avoid any incident with your pet. We have a huge park and trail in front of our house, that means lots of outdoor time, lots of trees for dogs to sniff and photo time :) And, I will share their photos with you too and keep you posted of their stay, so you don't have any worries.

I was really anxious to leave my babies (2 cats) for the first time, and after meeting her, I was honestly no longer nervous, because I knew she would take such amazing care of them. She followed all of my instructions about safety and feeding perfectly, and took the time to listen to everything I had to explain (which was a lot) so I appreciated that. She sent me so many photos and videos throughout her stay so I was never left wondering how they were doing - this gave me so much reassurance. I never had a doubt in my mind that my babies were being cared for and loved which was so important to me. Both of my kitties absolutely loved her and I could tell from all the photo and video updates that they felt comfy and at home with her around, which gave me so much peace of mind.
