“Heather was absolutely amazing with our three cats! I’m very protective of my cats and I tend to worry a lot when I’m away from them, especially because each of them has a different personality and their own little routine. I left Heather quite a lot of details and instructions, and she was incredibly patient, understanding, and respectful of everything. She kept me updated throughout our trip with messages, pictures and videos, which gave me so much peace of mind. What made me happiest was watching our cats gradually become more and more comfortable with her. Even our shy ones started coming around, spending time with her, and eventually even sleeping in her room. It was very clear that she took the time to earn their trust rather than forcing interaction with them. ❤️ Heather went above and beyond in so many ways. She treated our cats and our home with so much care, and I truly felt that they were in safe and loving hands while we were away. By the end of the stay, I honestly think they were going to miss her too! 🥰 I would absolutely ask Heather to pet sit for us again without hesitation. Knowing that I now have someone I can trust this much with my babies will make traveling so much easier in the future. I can’t recommend her enough. About: I love love cats and dogs!! I sadly have not had the life yet to be able to own my own yet, but I am always the friend who is volunteering to take care of my friends’ pets!! I am excited and enthusiastic when my friends now ask me because they know I will say yes and try to make it happen. I work during the day a lot but am flexible with scheduling. So I am able to between my 2 shifts do pet care as well and I am always free in the late evenings. I also am a morning person, so I am also happy to feed and walk your pay before the day begins. I am always aware of where the pets are and pay attention to their behaviours and their body language. I keep an eye on them and follow them to see what they are up to and if they are the type to love attention I will provide them with it with snuggles or petting

Not only did we get daily updates on our shy kitty who loved her and warmed to her almost instantly, but Lyra also went above and beyond when a record breaking flood hit Ottawa while we were away- working extra hard than expected to help keep our flooding basement under control and items free from damage. Couldn’t be more grateful! Place was also left spotless, and a happy kitty waiting for us. Would love to book again for all house sittings ☺️☺️”
