Safety, trust & environment
We usually do overnight housesittings but can also do daytime housesittings and drop-in visits within Ottawa area. We have two kitties, Cosmos and Taylor. They can be a bit shy and skittish at first but will quickly warm up to you after sharing some treats and with them. They can be quite needy so it would be a plus if we could take them to the house we are sitting when traveling far from home - they are really good with other pets.
Ratings and reviews
Nelly and Laura took care of our two (sensitive, shy) cats for five days, staying overnight. They were excellent at communicating with us throughout, sending us regular updates and lots of pictures. They also were responsive to our cats being shy (taking them food in their hiding spots, and not pushing too hard when they did not want to interact), and we came back to our place being clean and organized, which was nice after being away. We would recommend them!
Super reliable, responsive and go above and beyond. Will definitely continue to use them when we can!

Nelly is wonderful. When our travel plans hit a snag she was very willing to accommodate us. Her sweet personality has charmed my anxiety dog Darwin,and my nervous cats, Timmy and Charlie. And she always leaves our home super neat and clean. We love Nelly!

Schedule
We are currently living and working in eastern region, ON. Between both of us, we usually have good availability during the week and most weekends. We are open to housesitting requests in Eastern Ontario and Southern Quebec as well as outside this coverage area.

- It would be great to know as much detail as possible about the type of activities your pet usually like to do and their usual routine and behaviour. We would also appreciate knowing if your pet has any behavioural issues (e.g. separation anxiety) and for how long they can be left alone and how often they need pee breaks. We also ask that you provide written instructions about their care and needs once the sitting has been confirmed.
