About: I had the absolute honour to be a dog Mom for 15 years. My beautiful Benjamin earned his angel wings in September 2023 but I still remember how hard it was to find a loving & attentive dog sitter who had senior dog experience, and it was through Rover that I met some really amazing dog-sitters and I'm forever grateful they were part of Benji's journey. Benji had diabetes for years so I have extensive experience administering needles and oral medication. Benji was also a fussy eater so I’m also used to making meals tasty and the environment super relaxing to ensure your baby is as happy as they can be while you’re away. The primary reason for having a higher-than-average rate is because I promise to provide exceptional, safe, and attentive care to your precious baby. I’m also open to giving very frequent updates and photos to make your experience away from your baby as enjoyable as possible. I’m very mindful of safety rules and making sure you’re little (or big!) one is safe and cared for 24/7. I love dogs so much and I miss their beautiful love and light, and while I’m not ready to have another one of my own yet, I look forward to caring for your dog as I would my own. I love giving lots of cuddles, belly rubs and walks and I aim to make every dog feel super loved and adored. Right now I’m currently working in Ottawa for the federal government from Monday to Thursday. I work from home on Fridays, and I am available all weekend and would dedicate every hour to looking after your fur baby. I’m currently in transition to retirement, so I will be available for full-time sitting as of January 1, 2027. For boarding, I am comfortable spending all of my free time outside of work with your baby. I don’t have any obligations that would take me away from focusing on your baby’s care. I also live in a very quiet neighborhood, so it would be a peaceful and enjoyable experience for your little one. I look forward to meeting you and your precious baby! 🐶 I work from home 1 day a week (Fri) and have to be in the office in Ottawa 4 days a week (Mon-Thurs). I would be able to be home with your baby (Fri, Sat, Sun) but if you’re going on vacation and request more than those 3 days I’m more than happy to do 7 days a week, as long as you’re ok with them being alone on the 4 days I’m in the office (from 7am to 3pm). I have a fully fenced yard and live on a corner lot so there is lots to see and sniff even if just running around my yard, but I am happy to go on lots of leashed walks as well. Being a devoted dog Mom for 15 years, I was always extremely careful about making sure my Benji was safe and I did many things to avoid potential situations, such as crossing the street on walks if another dog looked aggressive, making sure I had eyes on him at all times and knowing what he was doing, even when sniffing the ground, making sure nothing was on the ground that could be hazardous. Nothing was more important to me than protecting my Benji and also making him feel super loved and relaxed. Trust is so important when choosing a dog-sitter. I’ve had a few negative experiences when I needed one in the past, so I know how awful it can be to search and have to settle for mediocre care when in a pinch, so it’s important to me to offer the utmost in care for your baby and for you to be assured that they are in good hands. I’ve had very positive experiences using Rover in the past as a dog owner & I’m excited to now be able to give positive experiences to other pet parents as a dog-sitter. I’m more than happy to abide by any and all requests or preferences that you have when it comes to your baby and I’d love to know their likes and dislikes and whatever else will make their stay with me the best time ever!

About: While I don’t currently have a dog of my own, I’ve spent years caring for dogs through family, friends, and my time helping at a veterinary clinic. During that time, I gained hands-on experience handling dogs of different sizes and temperaments, assisting with their care, and accompanying them to obedience training classes. I understand the importance of patience, positive reinforcement, and maintaining a safe, structured routine. Whether your dog loves long walks, playtime, or simply relaxing with good company, I’ll provide dependable, loving care and treat them like they’re part of my own family. I’m currently not working and would love to spend my down time caring for animals as it has always been a passion of mine. Schedule is pretty flexible. I believe pets are happiest when they can stay in the comfort of their own home and maintain their normal routine. I take the time to learn each pet’s schedule, including feeding, walks, playtime, medications (if needed), and any special instructions. I provide plenty of attention, affection, and enrichment while also respecting each pet’s individual personality and comfort level. I currently provide care in my clients’ homes rather than my own, as I want to ensure every pet is in the environment where they feel safest and most relaxed. I’ll also keep you updated with photos and messages, so you can have peace of mind knowing your pet is happy and well cared for while you’re away.

About: Je suis entourée d'animaux depuis aussi longtemps que ma mémoire me le permet. J'ai eu des chiens de plusieurs races dans mon entourage, à la maison ainsi qu'à garder (pitbull, Chihuahua, Husky, Berger allemand, Shitzu miniature, Beagle et Teckle). Je suis à l'aise à faire administrer des médicaments au besoin (à confirmer selon le type d'administration). Nous gérons notre horaire, donc nous avons une grande flexibilité. Nous sommes principalement nomades depuis notre retour d'un tour du monde qui a duré une année complète. Nous avons donc l'habitude de s'adapter aux imprévus. Nous faisons exclusivement de la garde chez les propriétaires. Aucune garde à notre domicile. About: With a lifetime of experience around large dogs, I’m confident caring for breeds of all sizes and temperaments. I prioritize safety, routine, exercise, and personalized attention so you can feel completely at ease while away. Doggy daycare/dog walking fits really naturally into my routine because I already have dedicated days off during the week and love staying active. I work full time, but on my available days I’m home and able to give dogs lots of attention, walks, playtime, and bathroom breaks throughout the day. Your pet will get lots of attention, walks, playtime, and love. I stick to their routine so they feel comfortable, but I also make sure they’re getting plenty of stimulation and not just sitting around bored. At my place, they’ve got a safe, relaxed space to hang out and settle in like they belong there. In a client’s home, I keep things consistent so they feel secure in their own environment.

About: I am the go to dog sitter for all of my extended family, and I have sat for small to large dogs. And I have mostly sat for houses with multiple dogs. I work early mornings Monday to Friday, so I’m free during the normal working day. And full availability most weekends with advanced notice. And I can sit multiple days in a row. I can follow whatever routine you have with your pet. I can follow complex instructions, detailed feeding schedules and I have care for an elderly dog that required diabetes shots daily.

I’ve also completed several professional pet behaviour classes with my own pets, so I understand how to help nervous or timid animals feel safe, comfortable, and loved. I currently work a full-time job in healthcare, but am available on most evenings and weekends! I work the occasional shift work so am also available during the day at times. My services include walks & home visits to your house (either overnight or drop-ins). Due to my own pets, I am unable to take your pet to my house. I am a very clean and organized person and I would ensure to treat your house and space the same as I would my own.
