“Shanna is punctual , attentive & extremely caring. She loves dog & it shows. My dogs LOVE when Shanna walks in to see them or give them a walk. She takes her time when she is with them & ensure they are fulfilled with exercise & mental enrichment. HIGHLY recommend.”

“Krista was great with communication and confident with her care of my reactive dog! She did such an amazing job and kept me in the loop during the whole visit. Would love to have Krista come back again and walk Zoey!”

“Fionna is absolutely amazing! She took the time to have two separate meet ups with Winnie to make sure she was more comfortable. She even brought her dog to make sure Winnie had a friend! I couldn’t recommend anyone better to take care of your dog”

“This was our first time using a dog walking service and I don’t know why I didn’t do this sooner! Keshia is amazing and our dog loves her! She is always very accommodating, even with last minute bookings. I love that we can see where they went on their walks and the pictures are a great bonus!”

About: Hi! We’re Selina and Pascal, longtime dog lovers with years of hands on experience caring for pups of all ages, sizes, and personalities. Over the years, we’ve shared our home with (and cared for!) everything from playful Pugs and Frenchies to energetic Aussies, loyal Golden Retrievers, goofy Doodles, gentle St. Bernards, cuddly Chihuahuas, and many others in between. We’re comfortable with dogs who are high energy, low key, seniors, puppies, or those who need a little extra medical attention, including medication or special routines. Our family team includes us both as well as my 16 year old son, Jesse, who loves helping out and giving dogs lots of affection. We recently lost our beloved Bella, a French Bulldog mix, so we have plenty of space in our hearts (and home!) for your pup. I currently work from home full time, so dogs in our care are rarely alone. And if I ever need to step out, Pascal works nearby at the post office and can easily pop in to keep pups company. Long story short: there’s almost always someone around! We’re dedicated to giving each dog the same warm, personalized care we’d want for our own; daily walks (up to 4 times!), playtime, cuddles, mental stimulation, and lots of love. Just let us know any special needs or quirks so we can tailor their stay to what makes them happiest. 🐶💛 Please note: we can’t host cats in our home due to our son’s allergies, but we’re happy to offer drop ins. Since I currently work from home full‑time, pet care naturally fits into my daily rhythm. Regular walks, feeding times, potty breaks, and play sessions are built right into my schedule. I adjust the day based on each dog’s needs, whether they thrive on extra exercise, prefer frequent short outings, or just love being close for cuddles. And with Pascal working nearby at the post office, there’s always someone available to pop in if I need to step out. This means your pet gets consistent companionship and is rarely ever alone. Your dog’s comfort and safety are always our top priority. In our home, pups are treated just like family, free to relax, explore, play, and enjoy plenty of affection. Since I work from home and Pascal works nearby, dogs are rarely left alone for long. They get several daily walks, outdoor time, and a calm, cozy environment to help them feel completely at ease. One thing that’s really important to us: we only host one family’s pets at a time. That means no mixing unfamiliar dogs from different households. This helps ensure everyone, pets and humans, stays comfortable, stress free, and safe. Plus, your pup gets 100% of our attention and care, with no competition for space, toys, or affection. Cat care is available through drop-ins as we can’t host cats in our home due to allergies.
About: Hey there, fellow dog lover! I’m the person your pup’s been hoping you’d find. Dogs have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. Think muddy paws, endless fetch, and the occasional epic game of “who can out-stubborn who.” I’ve owned dogs of every size, shape, and quirky personality, and I wouldn’t trade a single slobbery kiss for the world. Here’s what sets me apart: I’m certified in Animal First Aid through the Canadian Red Cross (safety first—always!). I also have hands-on experience in dog rehabilitation and training, so I’m the go-to for pups who need a little extra TLC or a gentle nudge in the right direction. Whether your dog is a high-energy ball chaser, a senior looking for some sunshine and slow strolls, or a shy rescue who needs patience and understanding, I’m here to make their day brighter (and give you total peace of mind).Let’s be honest, your dog deserves someone who’ll treat them like family. That’s exactly what I do. So if you’re looking for someone who will love your dog as much as you do—and maybe even sneak them an extra treat or two then let’s chat! Ready for your pup’s next favorite human? Book with me, and let’s make some tails wag! I am currently working from home so am available for walks & drop-ins mid day. I am also available anytime evenings and weekends as well. Holidays too if I am around! When I care for pets during drop-in visits or walks, safety and trust are always my top priorities. Before each visit, I make sure I understand your instructions, your dog’s unique needs, and any special routines or quirks. During drop-ins, I do a quick safety check of your home such as making sure doors, gates, and windows are secure, and removing anything that could be hazardous to curious noses. I let the dops out for a much needed potty break and top up water bowls. On walks, I use sturdy, well-fitted leashes and only go to places you’re comfortable with, whether that’s a quiet neighborhood street or a stroll through a trail. I’m always alert to my surroundings, keeping an eye out for potential hazards like traffic or other animals. If your dog is nervous or reactive, I’ll choose the calmest routes and give them space to feel safe. I clean up after your pet (of course!), refresh water bowls, and send you updates so you know exactly how things are going. Most importantly, I treat your home and your dog with the same care and respect I’d want for my own. My goal is to make every visit stress-free for both you and your pup, so you feel confident and your dog feels happy and secure while you’re away.

About: I had the absolute honour to be a dog Mom for 15 years. My beautiful Benjamin earned his angel wings in September 2023 but I still remember how hard it was to find a loving & attentive dog sitter who had senior dog experience, and it was through Rover that I met some really amazing dog-sitters and I'm forever grateful they were part of Benji's journey. Benji had diabetes for years so I have extensive experience administering needles and oral medication. Benji was also a fussy eater so I’m also used to making meals tasty and the environment super relaxing to ensure your baby is as happy as they can be while you’re away. The primary reason for having a higher-than-average rate is because I promise to provide exceptional, safe, and attentive care to your precious baby. I’m also open to giving very frequent updates and photos to make your experience away from your baby as enjoyable as possible. I’m very mindful of safety rules and making sure you’re little (or big!) one is safe and cared for 24/7. I love dogs so much and I miss their beautiful love and light, and while I’m not ready to have another one of my own yet, I look forward to caring for your dog as I would my own. I love giving lots of cuddles, belly rubs and walks and I aim to make every dog feel super loved and adored. Right now I’m currently working in Ottawa for the federal government from Monday to Thursday. I work from home on Fridays, and I am available all weekend and would dedicate every hour to looking after your fur baby. I’m currently in transition to retirement, so I will be available for full-time sitting as of January 1, 2027. For boarding, I am comfortable spending all of my free time outside of work with your baby. I don’t have any obligations that would take me away from focusing on your baby’s care. I also live in a very quiet neighborhood, so it would be a peaceful and enjoyable experience for your little one. I look forward to meeting you and your precious baby! 🐶 For now, I work from home 1 day a week (Fri) and have to be in the office in Ottawa 4 days a week (Mon-Thurs). I would be able to be home with your baby (Fri, Sat, Sun) but if you’re going on vacation and request more than those 3 days I’m more than happy to do 7 days a week, as long as you’re ok with them being alone on the 4 days I’m in the office (from 7am to 3pm). As of January 1, 2027, I will be fully retired and available 24/7. I have a fully fenced yard and live on a corner lot so there is lots to see and sniff even if just running around my yard, but I am happy to go on lots of leashed walks as well. I’m pretty good at interpreting the signs for potty time, but I love learning as much as I can from you about what your baby’s habits, needs and preferences are. Being a devoted dog Mom for 15 years, I was always extremely careful about making sure my Benji was safe and happy, and I did many things to avoid potential situations, such as crossing the street on walks if another dog looked aggressive, making sure I had eyes on him at all times and knowing what he was doing, even when sniffing the ground, making sure nothing was on the ground that could be hazardous. Nothing was more important to me than protecting my Benji and also making him feel super loved and relaxed. Trust is so important when choosing a dog-sitter. I’ve had a few negative experiences when I needed one in the past, so I know how awful it can be to search and have to settle for mediocre care when in a pinch, so it’s important to me to offer the utmost in care for your baby and for you to be assured that they are in good hands. I’ve had very positive experiences using Rover in the past as a dog owner & I’m excited to now be able to give positive experiences to other pet parents as a dog-sitter. I’m more than happy to abide by any and all requests or preferences that you have when it comes to your baby and I’d love to know their likes and dislikes and whatever else will make their stay with me the best time ever!

“We dont often like to leave behind our pooch because he can be nervous. We had the opportunity to leave on a quick overnight trip and needed someone to come care for him while we were away. Ramona was very responsive to messages and clear in communication. Our dog Toby bonded quickly with her and seemed so happy in the many picture and videos she shared. It was a weight off our shoulders ans allowed us to fill our cups during our weekend away. Thanks for everythiing, Ramona!”

About: I have had dogs big and small since I was a child. My mother and aunt run a dog kennel with many different breeds and sizes of dogs. They also run a local breeding service giving me lots of experience with dogs young and old. I currently still own a bernadoodle who loves his walks I’m sure as much as your dog does too. I work shift work and on my days off love staying active when I’m not with my children. I love being outside and what better excuse to have than to help get your loved ones some exercise. I am strictly a dog walker or someone who can come to your house and let your animals out in the yard for a stretch and exercise.
“Amy is amazing with my crazy dog and he seems to be much calmer after his hour walk with her. She is very professional and asks all the right questions. She always turns up on time or a few minutes early and he always gets his full hour walk. I would highly recommend Amy as your dog walker and hope she’ll continue walking Ollie for as long as I need her🐾😊”

About: I've taken care of dogs and cats since I was 12 years old. I'm very patient and love working with animals to ensure that they are comfortable. I work at home during the day from Monday-Friday and care for my Shih tzu throughout each day. I bring her for many walks each day. I am flexible in the care for my clients pets. Based on client recommendation, I can either give their pets their own comfortable space or, if they enjoy the company of people and other dogs, I can slowly introduce them to my dog in a shared space.
“Kayla is wonderful with our 7 month Rottweiler. She was proactive about teaching street manners without us asking and our puppy always came home happy and fulfilled. Very good communication and reliable. We can tell she really cares and is educated on dogs.”

I work from home full-time, which allows me to give your cat the attention, companionship, and care they need throughout the day. Whether at your home or ours, the priority is always the well-being and happiness of your feline friend.
About: I’ve had dogs growing up, one at my moms and one at my dads, I now live alone and would love to help with your little fur babies! I have 4 pets right now two bunnies and two cats. The bunnies get kibble and veggies in the morning. The cats get wet food in the morning and at night. Dry kibble out all day and hay out all day for the bunnies. We clean their cage 1/ week, and the cats litter gets changed every 3 days. I’ve dog sat a few times for the same family and if you have a routine for your pets I’ll gladly follow what your looking for, I also have a routine for mine as well, so whatever works best for you!
About: While I don’t currently have a dog of my own, I’ve spent years caring for dogs through family, friends, and my time helping at a veterinary clinic. During that time, I gained hands-on experience handling dogs of different sizes and temperaments, assisting with their care, and accompanying them to obedience training classes. I understand the importance of patience, positive reinforcement, and maintaining a safe, structured routine. Whether your dog loves long walks, playtime, or simply relaxing with good company, I’ll provide dependable, loving care and treat them like they’re part of my own family. I’m currently not working and would love to spend my down time caring for animals as it has always been a passion of mine. Schedule is pretty flexible. I believe pets are happiest when they can stay in the comfort of their own home and maintain their normal routine. I take the time to learn each pet’s schedule, including feeding, walks, playtime, medications (if needed), and any special instructions. I provide plenty of attention, affection, and enrichment while also respecting each pet’s individual personality and comfort level. I currently provide care in my clients’ homes rather than my own, as I want to ensure every pet is in the environment where they feel safest and most relaxed. I’ll also keep you updated with photos and messages, so you can have peace of mind knowing your pet is happy and well cared for while you’re away.

About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life! I grew up around a wide variety of animals and have experience caring for dogs, cats, guinea pigs, turtles, frogs, and other small pets. I love being able to spend quality time with animals, so your pet won’t just be another stop in my day, they’ll get lots of one-on-one care and companionship while you’re away! I live in a pet-friendly condo where I’ve had friends’ pets stay with me before and always love having some extra paws around! my condo has a balcony and no pet size restrictions, and I'm close to lots of walking trails, green spaces, and dog parks for pets who love getting outside and exploring.
