About: Hi, We’re a fun, active family of three (plus our own beloved cat) who truly love animals. We’re a dream team; we’re reliable, active pet sitters with a 4-year-old child and a hybrid work schedule, giving us plenty of flexibility to provide attentive, in-home care. Whether it’s feeding, walks, play sessions, or just keeping your pets’ company, we treat every animal with the love and attention they deserve. With two beloved dogs of our own in the past — a Black Lab and a German Shepherd — We know firsthand the joy (and responsibility) that comes with caring for furry family members. Though they’ve since passed, we still miss the daily walks, playtime, and cuddles, which is why we love pet sitting. Whether it’s long walks, playtime, cuddles, or just quiet companionship, we treat every pet like part of our own family. About: I’ve been around dogs my whole life and have experience with a wide range of breeds, sizes and personalities, from Yorkies to German Shepherds. My mom also bred a few litters when I was in my 20s, so I’ve spent lots of time around puppies as well. I currently have a dog of my own and am comfortable following whatever routine and care instructions you have in place. I’m home throughout the day and have a pretty flexible schedule, so I’m available for pet care during the week and on weekends. I can usually work around different schedules and routines depending on what you need. I have a fully fenced yard with plenty of space for dogs to get outside and play. I’m happy to follow whatever routine you already have in place, including feeding schedules, walks, litter box care and any specific instructions. I understand that every pet is different and will follow what works best for yours.

About: Animal lover whose grown up with different animals at home. Fish, canaries, parakeets, dogs, and occasionally we had cats. We don't currently have pets at home but regularly pet sit for our family members. About: I’ve had dogs growing up, one at my moms and one at my dads, I now live alone and would love to help with your little fur babies! I have 4 pets right now two bunnies and two cats. The bunnies get kibble and veggies in the morning. The cats get wet food in the morning and at night. Dry kibble out all day and hay out all day for the bunnies. We clean their cage 1/ week, and the cats litter gets changed every 3 days. I’ve dog sat a few times for the same family and if you have a routine for your pets I’ll gladly follow what your looking for, I also have a routine for mine as well, so whatever works best for you!

About: I had the absolute honour to be a dog Mom for 15 years. My beautiful Benjamin earned his angel wings in September 2023 but I still remember how hard it was to find a loving & attentive dog sitter who had senior dog experience, and it was through Rover that I met some really amazing dog-sitters and I'm forever grateful they were part of Benji's journey. Benji had diabetes for years so I have extensive experience administering needles and oral medication. Benji was also a fussy eater so I’m also used to making meals tasty and the environment super relaxing to ensure your baby is as happy as they can be while you’re away. The primary reason for having a higher-than-average rate is because I promise to provide exceptional, safe, and attentive care to your precious baby. I’m also open to giving very frequent updates and photos to make your experience away from your baby as enjoyable as possible. I’m very mindful of safety rules and making sure you’re little (or big!) one is safe and cared for 24/7. I love dogs so much and I miss their beautiful love and light, and while I’m not ready to have another one of my own yet, I look forward to caring for your dog as I would my own. I love giving lots of cuddles, belly rubs and walks and I aim to make every dog feel super loved and adored. Right now I’m currently working in Ottawa for the federal government from Monday to Thursday. I work from home on Fridays, and I am available all weekend and would dedicate every hour to looking after your fur baby. I’m currently in transition to retirement, so I will be available for full-time sitting as of January 1, 2027. For boarding, I am comfortable spending all of my free time outside of work with your baby. I don’t have any obligations that would take me away from focusing on your baby’s care. I also live in a very quiet neighborhood, so it would be a peaceful and enjoyable experience for your little one. I look forward to meeting you and your precious baby! 🐶 For now, I work from home 1 day a week (Fri) and have to be in the office in Ottawa 4 days a week (Mon-Thurs). I would be able to be home with your baby (Fri, Sat, Sun) but if you’re going on vacation and request more than those 3 days I’m more than happy to do 7 days a week, as long as you’re ok with them being alone on the 4 days I’m in the office (from 7am to 3pm). As of January 1, 2027, I will be fully retired and available 24/7. I have a fully fenced yard and live on a corner lot so there is lots to see and sniff even if just running around my yard, but I am happy to go on lots of leashed walks as well. I’m pretty good at interpreting the signs for potty time, but I love learning as much as I can from you about what your baby’s habits, needs and preferences are. Being a devoted dog Mom for 15 years, I was always extremely careful about making sure my Benji was safe and happy, and I did many things to avoid potential situations, such as crossing the street on walks if another dog looked aggressive, making sure I had eyes on him at all times and knowing what he was doing, even when sniffing the ground, making sure nothing was on the ground that could be hazardous. Nothing was more important to me than protecting my Benji and also making him feel super loved and relaxed. Trust is so important when choosing a dog-sitter. I’ve had a few negative experiences when I needed one in the past, so I know how awful it can be to search and have to settle for mediocre care when in a pinch, so it’s important to me to offer the utmost in care for your baby and for you to be assured that they are in good hands. I’ve had very positive experiences using Rover in the past as a dog owner & I’m excited to now be able to give positive experiences to other pet parents as a dog-sitter. I’m more than happy to abide by any and all requests or preferences that you have when it comes to your baby and I’d love to know their likes and dislikes and whatever else will make their stay with me the best time ever!

About: Experienced in Veterinary Medicine for 8 years. I've been working with dogs my whole life. Dog walking since 11 years old. Working along professional dog trainers in boarding facilities was a huge plus to help me guild dogs safely around our neighborhoods and parks. My job working in the veterinary hospital is a blessing to be surrounded by animals every second of every day. About: I’ve been watching dogs for 7 years now. I love all types of dogs. But the first dog I ever got close to was a pitbull. He was the first over night dog sit/house sit. I ever did, the couple would travel often due to work. So I would dog sit about 2/3 times a week. I did that for about two years and gained a lot of experience with dogs due to that job. I also find dog walking a great way to stay healthy and active with out it feeling like a work out. I’ve enjoyed dogging sitting ever since I started and don’t plan to stop. About: I have taken care of my cat for 10 years. His name is Miles and he the most lovable cat you you will ever meet. I love animals and animals should always be treated with love, care and respect. I have taken care of different type of dogs throughout my life, small to really big dogs. Animals are just like us in a way, all they need is love and attention. Cats and dogs are our babies and its it's importmant to always have a structure in they're everyday life. . When i have other Dogs or Cats I make sure to set timers so they are able to go for walks, use the bathroom, have nap time, play time and always making sure that they are eating food in a timely manner and also food that is good for the them. I live in an Condo where they can have access to the balcony to get fresh air and sun but it is fence so no animals can go over. I also have a cat and he's super very friendly and loves to cuddle. I always take time to play with animals. its very important to give them as much attention as possible. I also play dog or cat shows. Believe it or not some animals love it. I currently work at home so it works perfectly when watching any animals. Also easy for when the owners would want an update on their love ones. I love to play with animals. They are part of us and its important to show affection and love to them. It's important to know your animals and treat them with respect as well as follow how the owners care for them and imply that as well. Making them feel comfortable is important.
