About: I had the absolute honour to be a dog Mom for 15 years. My beautiful Benjamin earned his angel wings in September 2023 but I still remember how hard it was to find a loving & attentive dog sitter who had senior dog experience, and it was through Rover that I met some really amazing dog-sitters and I'm forever grateful they were part of Benji's journey. Benji had diabetes for years so I have extensive experience administering needles and oral medication. Benji was also a fussy eater so I’m also used to making meals tasty and the environment super relaxing to ensure your baby is as happy as they can be while you’re away. The primary reason for having a higher-than-average rate is because I promise to provide exceptional, safe, and attentive care to your precious baby. I’m also open to giving very frequent updates and photos to make your experience away from your baby as enjoyable as possible. I’m very mindful of safety rules and making sure you’re little (or big!) one is safe and cared for 24/7. I love dogs so much and I miss their beautiful love and light, and while I’m not ready to have another one of my own yet, I look forward to caring for your dog as I would my own. I love giving lots of cuddles, belly rubs and walks and I aim to make every dog feel super loved and adored. Right now I’m currently working in Ottawa for the federal government from Monday to Thursday. I work from home on Fridays, and I am available all weekend and would dedicate every hour to looking after your fur baby. I’m currently in transition to retirement, so I will be available for full-time sitting as of January 1, 2027. For boarding, I am comfortable spending all of my free time outside of work with your baby. I don’t have any obligations that would take me away from focusing on your baby’s care. I also live in a very quiet neighborhood, so it would be a peaceful and enjoyable experience for your little one. I look forward to meeting you and your precious baby! 🐶 For now, I work from home 1 day a week (Fri) and have to be in the office in Ottawa 4 days a week (Mon-Thurs). I would be able to be home with your baby (Fri, Sat, Sun) but if you’re going on vacation and request more than those 3 days I’m more than happy to do 7 days a week, as long as you’re ok with them being alone on the 4 days I’m in the office (from 7am to 3pm). As of January 1, 2027, I will be fully retired and available 24/7. I have a fully fenced yard and live on a corner lot so there is lots to see and sniff even if just running around my yard, but I am happy to go on lots of leashed walks as well. I’m pretty good at interpreting the signs for potty time, but I love learning as much as I can from you about what your baby’s habits, needs and preferences are. Being a devoted dog Mom for 15 years, I was always extremely careful about making sure my Benji was safe and happy, and I did many things to avoid potential situations, such as crossing the street on walks if another dog looked aggressive, making sure I had eyes on him at all times and knowing what he was doing, even when sniffing the ground, making sure nothing was on the ground that could be hazardous. Nothing was more important to me than protecting my Benji and also making him feel super loved and relaxed. Trust is so important when choosing a dog-sitter. I’ve had a few negative experiences when I needed one in the past, so I know how awful it can be to search and have to settle for mediocre care when in a pinch, so it’s important to me to offer the utmost in care for your baby and for you to be assured that they are in good hands. I’ve had very positive experiences using Rover in the past as a dog owner & I’m excited to now be able to give positive experiences to other pet parents as a dog-sitter. I’m more than happy to abide by any and all requests or preferences that you have when it comes to your baby and I’d love to know their likes and dislikes and whatever else will make their stay with me the best time ever!

About: I began pet care when I was 10, helping care for neighbours’ pets while they were away on vacation. I also worked as a vet’s assistant in animal hospitals. This included the basic feeding and caring for animals in hospital but I also aided in vaccinations/wellness checks, and illness prevention. Through this, I also gained experience with animals with behavioural issues (i.e. aggression, nervousness, etc.). I currently work at a doggy daycare/dog boarding facility, where I supervise playgroups, walk dogs, and feed and administer any medications. I am currently a dog daycare attendant, so my schedule is very flexible around my shifts. I hope to provide your loved one with as much care and attention as those I work with! I would hope to provide a fun and caring environment for your loved one. I will care for your pet with the same love I provide for my own animals. I would enjoy playing, cuddling or helping out with any other pet care needs.

About: I’ve always had a passion for dogs. I grew up as a dog person & when we got our first dog when I was 10 I was in love. Ive taken care of all kinds of dogs since including anxious dogs, overly excited dogs & dogs with separation anxiety. I’ve done dog sitting in other households as well as my own & dog walking for neighbours/families. I am a certified dog trainer & actively working with my mentor to increase my experience. I am pet CPR certified Dog walking certified Boarding certified & pet nutrition certified through the Animal Behavior College. I’m currently a part time student, graduating at the end of October 2026 & then I will be available from 9:30am-4pm during the day & then in the evenings from 4:30pm-8pm I have 2 dogs , Indie, a 4 year old mini Goldendoodle & Skye a 6 month old German shepherd. Your dogs will be treated like a member of my pack. Our dogs are allowed on the furniture & wherever we are. I do tend to put them in their crates while we are eating as we have toddlers. We do not currently have a fenced in yard, however my dogs do well on long leads & we are always outside when they are.

About: With 5 years of Veterinary Assistant experience, I provide calm, compassionate care tailored to each pet. I’m comfortable administering medications, monitoring health conditions, and giving extra time and patience to senior pets. I believe pets are happiest in their own familiar environment, so I care for them in their home where they feel safe and comfortable. I value routine and clear communication, and before each booking, I like to go over your pet’s routine, personality, and any important dos and don’ts. Safety is always my priority. For dogs, I avoid dog parks and interactions with unfamiliar dogs until I know their communication and comfort level. My goal is simple: to keep your pet happy, safe, comfortable, and cared for like family while you’re away. ❤️ I work strictly overnight shifts at an animal hospital, giving me flexible daytime availability to care for your pets with plenty of time and attention. I don’t care for pets in my own home because I strongly believe in the comfort and security of their familiar surroundings. When pet parents are away, I believe the least stressful option is for a sitter to come to them—allowing pets to stay in their own space, routine, and comfort zone.

About: I love love cats and dogs!! I sadly have not had the life yet to be able to own my own yet, but I am always the friend who is volunteering to take care of my friends’ pets!! I am excited and enthusiastic when my friends now ask me because they know I will say yes and try to make it happen. I work during the day a lot but am flexible with scheduling. So I am able to between my 2 shifts do pet care as well and I am always free in the late evenings. I also am a morning person, so I am also happy to feed and walk your pay before the day begins. I am always aware of where the pets are and pay attention to their behaviours and their body language. I keep an eye on them and follow them to see what they are up to and if they are the type to love attention I will provide them with it with snuggles or petting
