About: I had the absolute honour to be a dog Mom for 15 years. My beautiful Benjamin earned his angel wings in September 2023 but I still remember how hard it was to find a loving & attentive dog sitter who had senior dog experience, and it was through Rover that I met some really amazing dog-sitters and I'm forever grateful they were part of Benji's journey. Benji had diabetes for years so I have extensive experience administering needles and oral medication. Benji was also a fussy eater so I’m also used to making meals tasty and the environment super relaxing to ensure your baby is as happy as they can be while you’re away. The primary reason for having a higher-than-average rate is because I promise to provide exceptional, safe, and attentive care to your precious baby. I’m also open to giving very frequent updates and photos to make your experience away from your baby as enjoyable as possible. I’m very mindful of safety rules and making sure you’re little (or big!) one is safe and cared for 24/7. I love dogs so much and I miss their beautiful love and light, and while I’m not ready to have another one of my own yet, I look forward to caring for your dog as I would my own. I love giving lots of cuddles, belly rubs and walks and I aim to make every dog feel super loved and adored. Right now I’m currently working in Ottawa for the federal government from Monday to Thursday. I work from home on Fridays, and I am available all weekend and would dedicate every hour to looking after your fur baby. I’m currently in transition to retirement, so I will be available for full-time sitting as of January 1, 2027. For boarding, I am comfortable spending all of my free time outside of work with your baby. I don’t have any obligations that would take me away from focusing on your baby’s care. I also live in a very quiet neighborhood, so it would be a peaceful and enjoyable experience for your little one. I look forward to meeting you and your precious baby! 🐶 For now, I work from home 1 day a week (Fri) and have to be in the office in Ottawa 4 days a week (Mon-Thurs). I would be able to be home with your baby (Fri, Sat, Sun) but if you’re going on vacation and request more than those 3 days I’m more than happy to do 7 days a week, as long as you’re ok with them being alone on the 4 days I’m in the office (from 7am to 3pm). As of January 1, 2027, I will be fully retired and available 24/7. I have a fully fenced yard and live on a corner lot so there is lots to see and sniff even if just running around my yard, but I am happy to go on lots of leashed walks as well. I’m pretty good at interpreting the signs for potty time, but I love learning as much as I can from you about what your baby’s habits, needs and preferences are. Being a devoted dog Mom for 15 years, I was always extremely careful about making sure my Benji was safe and happy, and I did many things to avoid potential situations, such as crossing the street on walks if another dog looked aggressive, making sure I had eyes on him at all times and knowing what he was doing, even when sniffing the ground, making sure nothing was on the ground that could be hazardous. Nothing was more important to me than protecting my Benji and also making him feel super loved and relaxed. Trust is so important when choosing a dog-sitter. I’ve had a few negative experiences when I needed one in the past, so I know how awful it can be to search and have to settle for mediocre care when in a pinch, so it’s important to me to offer the utmost in care for your baby and for you to be assured that they are in good hands. I’ve had very positive experiences using Rover in the past as a dog owner & I’m excited to now be able to give positive experiences to other pet parents as a dog-sitter. I’m more than happy to abide by any and all requests or preferences that you have when it comes to your baby and I’d love to know their likes and dislikes and whatever else will make their stay with me the best time ever!

About: I’ve had dogs growing up, one at my moms and one at my dads, I now live alone and would love to help with your little fur babies! I have 4 pets right now two bunnies and two cats. The bunnies get kibble and veggies in the morning. The cats get wet food in the morning and at night. Dry kibble out all day and hay out all day for the bunnies. We clean their cage 1/ week, and the cats litter gets changed every 3 days. I’ve dog sat a few times for the same family and if you have a routine for your pets I’ll gladly follow what your looking for, I also have a routine for mine as well, so whatever works best for you!

About: I’ve been around dogs my whole life and have experience with a wide range of breeds, sizes and personalities, from Yorkies to German Shepherds. My mom also bred a few litters when I was in my 20s, so I’ve spent lots of time around puppies as well. I currently have a dog of my own and am comfortable following whatever routine and care instructions you have in place. I’m home throughout the day and have a pretty flexible schedule, so I’m available for pet care during the week and on weekends. I can usually work around different schedules and routines depending on what you need. I have a fully fenced yard with plenty of space for dogs to get outside and play. I’m happy to follow whatever routine you already have in place, including feeding schedules, walks, litter box care and any specific instructions. I understand that every pet is different and will follow what works best for yours.

About: I grew up surrounded by animals, taking care of their wants, needs and ensuring a safe environment! I love animals and enjoy providing life enrichment! I am currently looking for part-time work, and am looking to provide this service! I am very flexible to suit the needs of your pet and how you want their day to look! I have a fenced yard, surrounded by parks and have two friendly dogs to keep them company! I could easily follow a given schedule or routine.

About: I have had dogs big and small since I was a child. My mother and aunt run a dog kennel with many different breeds and sizes of dogs. They also run a local breeding service giving me lots of experience with dogs young and old. I currently still own a bernadoodle who loves his walks I’m sure as much as your dog does too. I work shift work and on my days off love staying active when I’m not with my children. I love being outside and what better excuse to have than to help get your loved ones some exercise. I am strictly a dog walker or someone who can come to your house and let your animals out in the yard for a stretch and exercise.

About: I’ve always had a passion for dogs. I grew up as a dog person & when we got our first dog when I was 10 I was in love. Ive taken care of all kinds of dogs since including anxious dogs, overly excited dogs & dogs with separation anxiety. I’ve done dog sitting in other households as well as my own & dog walking for neighbours/families. I am a certified dog trainer & actively working with my mentor to increase my experience. I am pet CPR certified Dog walking certified Boarding certified & pet nutrition certified through the Animal Behavior College. I’m currently a part time student, graduating at the end of October 2026 & then I will be available from 9:30am-4pm during the day & then in the evenings from 4:30pm-8pm I have 2 dogs , Indie, a 4 year old mini Goldendoodle & Skye a 6 month old German shepherd. Your dogs will be treated like a member of my pack. Our dogs are allowed on the furniture & wherever we are. I do tend to put them in their crates while we are eating as we have toddlers. We do not currently have a fenced in yard, however my dogs do well on long leads & we are always outside when they are.

About: I’ve been watching dogs for 7 years now. I love all types of dogs. But the first dog I ever got close to was a pitbull. He was the first over night dog sit/house sit. I ever did, the couple would travel often due to work. So I would dog sit about 2/3 times a week. I did that for about two years and gained a lot of experience with dogs due to that job. I also find dog walking a great way to stay healthy and active with out it feeling like a work out. I’ve enjoyed dogging sitting ever since I started and don’t plan to stop. I’m currently a full time student online so I’m looking to make cash while staying active and happy and what a better way than to pet sit. I’ve loved animal since I was a little girl so being around them always brings me joy and as you’ll see they take a liking to me as well. Even the pups you think won’t, always end up loving me as well. I live in a very spacious one bedroom apartment with a balcony alone so they always feel free and nice fresh air. There is a courtyard in my building that is dog friendly and three dog parks near my building as well. So they will always have room to run and be themselves. I am a full time online student so I would be spending my whole day with your pups. They would always be in great care with love and attention. I have a nice courtyard in my building that’s pet friendly and they can play and I also have three dog parks in my area. Where they can run around and meet new pups if allowed I am currently an full time online student so I would be with your pup the whole day. About: I have taken care of my cat for 10 years. His name is Miles and he the most lovable cat you you will ever meet. I love animals and animals should always be treated with love, care and respect. I have taken care of different type of dogs throughout my life, small to really big dogs. Animals are just like us in a way, all they need is love and attention. Cats and dogs are our babies and its it's importmant to always have a structure in they're everyday life. . When i have other Dogs or Cats I make sure to set timers so they are able to go for walks, use the bathroom, have nap time, play time and always making sure that they are eating food in a timely manner and also food that is good for the them. I live in an Condo where they can have access to the balcony to get fresh air and sun but it is fence so no animals can go over. I also have a cat and he's super very friendly and loves to cuddle. I always take time to play with animals. its very important to give them as much attention as possible. I also play dog or cat shows. Believe it or not some animals love it. I currently work at home so it works perfectly when watching any animals. Also easy for when the owners would want an update on their love ones. I love to play with animals. They are part of us and its important to show affection and love to them. It's important to know your animals and treat them with respect as well as follow how the owners care for them and imply that as well. Making them feel comfortable is important.
