âSelina and Pascal were amazing with both our pups! They went on plenty of walks, let them on their couch/blankets to cuddle and gave them alllll the attention. They even have extra dog toys and bed for their visitors :) They sent us plenty of pics throughout the stay; thatâs highly appreciated! My dogs were both pooped when I picked them up. Highly recommend them (we are even booking monthly overnights for our dogs to get used to them prior to an extended stay). I will always book Selina and Pascal from now on :)â

âWe had such a wonderful experience! Stephanie was incredibly understanding of our dogâs nervous nature and took the time to make him feel comfortable and safe. It was clear he was well cared for and truly felt at home. We felt completely at ease leaving him in her care, which means everything to us. Weâre so grateful for the love and attention she gave him and will absolutely be using her services again. Highly recommend!â

âMĂŠlina is awesome. She was a life saver for us when we wanted to board our little boy for a night and had to book at the last minute. She accommodated our request graciously and took excellent care of Cooper. It was Cooper's first time away from us and he felt at home with MĂŠlina. She kept updating us regularly with pics. I cannot recommend her enough and would not hesitate to reach out to her again. Knowing our little boy was in good hands gave us all the peace of mind we needed during our trip.â

âWe recently reached out to Ashley to care for our dog Marley and explained his separation anxiety. She was incredibly kind and accommodating to his needs right from the start. Ashley kept us updated while we were away and sent photos where we could clearly see Marley was happy and having lots of fun. That peace of mind means everything when you are leaving your dog with someone new. We will absolutely be reaching out to Ashley again in the future and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring and reliable pet sitter.â

âBenjamĂn and his family were great with Panchos and Arya!! They stayed with them for 18 days and Benjamin sent us updates and pictures throughout that time! I really appreciate how caring and loving they were with our dogs!!â

About: I have been around dogs my entire life and have experience caring for dogs of various breeds, sizes, and personalities. While I am new to Rover, I have regularly looked after dogs for family and friends, providing them with a safe, comfortable, and loving environment while their owners were away. I currently own a friendly Golden Retriever named Kobe who gets along well with other dogs and loves making new friends. Caring for my own dog has given me hands-on experience with daily exercise, feeding routines, basic grooming, administering medications when needed, and recognizing the importance of maintaining a dog's regular schedule. My family and I have a large, fully fenced yard that provides plenty of space for dogs to run and play safely. Whether your dog enjoys long walks, active playtime, or simply relaxing in a comfortable home environment, I will make sure they receive the attention, care, and exercise they need. I understand that every dog is unique, and I strive to provide personalized care that helps each pet feel safe, happy, and at home while their owners are away. My family and I have a very flexible schedule that allows us to provide plenty of attention and care for your dog. I am currently on paternity leave for the summer, and my wife is on maternity leave until September 2027, which means someone is almost always home to supervise and care for your pet. Once I return to work, I will continue working from home two days per week, while my wife remains home full-time. This allows us to maintain a consistent and comfortable environment for dogs staying with us. We are also available on weekends and can accommodate a variety of schedules. Your pet's safety, comfort, and happiness are my top priorities. Dogs staying with us are treated like part of the family and cared for in a safe, loving home environment. We have a large, fully fenced yard where dogs can run, play, and get plenty of exercise. Our dog Kobe, loves meeting new friends and is always happy to have a playmate. We are a family with two young children, so dogs staying with us should be comfortable around kids. Our children have grown up around dogs and are taught to be gentle and respectful with animals. All interactions are supervised to ensure everyone remains safe and comfortable. I take the time to learn each dog's routine, including feeding schedules, exercise needs, and any special instructions. Whether your dog enjoys lots of activity or prefers a quieter day, I will do my best to make them feel right at home. I understand that leaving your pet with someone else is a big decision. That's why I provide a safe, caring environment along with regular updates and photos, so you can enjoy your time away knowing your pet is in good hands.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they do not have any disqualifying offences.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
