About: I’ve loved animals for as long as I can remember, and I’ve been caring for them since I was 12 years old. Growing up, I often looked after my neighbours’ cats, dogs, and rabbits while they were away - something i relished, as I wasn't allowed my own pet in the house (excluding fish, which i had many- i took what i could get!). Since moving out I have adopted several cats of my own and have continued to pet sit for friends regularly (both cats and dogs). They know they can always count on me if they need a sitter. :) Caring for animals has always felt like something that comes naturally to me; I love getting to know their individual personalities, routines, and little quirks. Most recently, I have cared, on multiple occasions, for three elderly and sick cats. Each has different health needs, medications, and eating schedules, so I made sure to carefully follow their routines and give each one the attention and care they needed. I also provided regular updates to assuage any understandable fears that the parents had. I’m reliable, responsible, and very attentive, and I understand how much trust goes into leaving your pets in someone else’s care. My goal is always to make your pets feel comfortable and loved while you’re away, and to give you peace of mind knowing they’re in caring hands. I recently moved from Vancouver Island back to my home city of Ottawa and am currently unencumbered by a full-time job. I am available 24/7 for attentive pet care, ranging from walks, feeding and check-ins, to multiple night stays. When caring for your pet in their own home, I want them to feel as comfortable and relaxed as possible by keeping their usual routine and giving them plenty of love and attention. I’m happy to take care of their everyday needs, including feeding, fresh water, walks, playtime, litter or bathroom breaks, and administering medications when needed. I’ll take the time to follow any specific instructions you leave me and pay close attention to your pet’s behaviour, making sure they are happy, comfortable, and safe throughout my visit. I also understand that every pet is different, so I’ll adapt to their personality and needs; whether they’re playful and energetic, shy and cautious, or simply looking for some extra companionship.

About: I’ve grown up with dogs and have had my German Shepard since I was 10. I’ve taken care of a variety of dogs and cats ever since and would love to host your pet. I have trained my dog with patience and will be able to handle absolutely anything! I currently work permanent part time and will be able to take care of your pet whenever I am available. With that said, this includes walks, nutrition, and overall attention to the dog/cat during the entirety of their stay. My house does not have any hazards and has a fenced backyard with a swimming pool. I live in a very safe and beautiful neighbourhood that can accommodate any pet. My house is far from any major road, surrounded by a golf course, and is close to various parks and pathways that the pets may enjoy.

About: I’ve been watching dogs for 7 years now. I love all types of dogs. But the first dog I ever got close to was a pitbull. He was the first over night dog sit/house sit. I ever did, the couple would travel often due to work. So I would dog sit about 2/3 times a week. I did that for about two years and gained a lot of experience with dogs due to that job. I also find dog walking a great way to stay healthy and active with out it feeling like a work out. I’ve enjoyed dogging sitting ever since I started and don’t plan to stop. There is a courtyard in my building that is dog friendly and three dog parks near my building as well. So they will always have room to run and be themselves. I am a full time online student so I would be spending my whole day with your pups. They would always be in great care with love and attention. About: I love love cats and dogs!! I sadly have not had the life yet to be able to own my own yet, but I am always the friend who is volunteering to take care of my friends’ pets!! I am excited and enthusiastic when my friends now ask me because they know I will say yes and try to make it happen. I work during the day a lot but am flexible with scheduling. So I am able to between my 2 shifts do pet care as well and I am always free in the late evenings. I also am a morning person, so I am also happy to feed and walk your pay before the day begins. I am always aware of where the pets are and pay attention to their behaviours and their body language.
