About: I have taken care of dogs most of my life. I have often had more than 1 at a time and can’t imagine life without a fur baby. There truly is nothing like doggie love 💜. Friends and family know they can depend on me to care for their pets as if they were my own. Dogs seem to instinctively know that I am a sucker for a fur face. I am truly excited to have made a career change that will allow me to embrace my passion for pets. I work part time ( mostly from home). I am flexible as I schedule my own hours and can work around any special requirements you may have. I live in a rural area with a large yard. I usually go out walking with my dogs for an hour in the morning and a half hour in the afternoon. I do have some long leads by the door for quick potty breaks. I am home during the day and love to have cuddles and play time.

About: What sets me apart from other sitters/walkers is my hands-on, professional experience working with dogs of all ages and temperaments and my Canine CPR certification. I’ve cared for large groups of up to 75 dogs in daycare settings, gaining extensive experience with feeding, walking, bathing, brushing, crating, and administering medications. I also worked in the Pet Care department at PetSmart, where I further developed my skills in animal care and handling. I’m comfortable managing multiple dogs at once, even those with very different personalities. I have experience caring for senior dogs with extra needs, as well as helping train young puppies through positive reinforcement and consistency. About: I am a former dog owner of an 18 year old Cockapoo I lost 1,5 years ago. Prior to this I cared for my 19 year old Spaniel/terrier. In addition, I am listed on Trusted House sitters as a Five star House/pet sitter. My last girl, I took care of her in Pallative state, administering, meds, special allergy bathing , going to the Vet for fluids and other treatments. Carry her down the deck stairs for her potty time when her ability was no longer there to climb up and down stairs etc. I had both of my dogs as a puppy and trained them with some dog trainers and my own training. I still have bedding, dishes, wire and mesh crate, toys! I am retired, I have some spare time depending on some days between appointments and trips into Ottawa. I would be more available during the day and early evenings I have a fenced yard, with plenty of grass down below the deck area. I am close to walking trails and sidewalks outside of my home. I do have a wired and mesh crate. I may administer some oral medication. Walk, feed, give lots of love, hugs and attention to your fur baby!

About: Ive taken care of dogs from friends and neighbours since I was a kid! Have done dog walking for them while and work and have experience pet sitting for them Im currently working part time as a nurse! So I have lots of time in my off schedule to walk and play and look after your dogs:)! I have a 2 year old golden retriever in my own home who is super friendly and she absolutely loves other dogs! But i also have a crate for her and she can easily be crated, or I can easily crate your dog if that is something you prefer. I also have a fenced in yard where im living now.

About: I am a huge dog lover of all sizes! I’ve grown up with golden retrievers since I was a kid. My family also owned beagles and chihuahuas. Currently I own one cat, named Jack and a golden retriever named Rusty. Sometimes I dog sit for one of my old coworkers at least once a year when he goes on vacation. I don’t have a fenced in yard however, I live on 1 acre of land in the country with a 30 foot lead tied to a cable that runs from one end of the property to the other. My dog loves it, it gives him lots of room to run. I take Rusty on walks at least twice a day too. My dog gets along great with other dogs, but he is a very playful dog. I’m currently working full-time shift work at transalta OHSC so the schedule rover requires isn’t quite accurate. My availability is something I will update weekly here, however if I am unavailable my boyfriend works 7-5 Monday to Friday and will be able to stop in after work and let your pet outside or feed it if needed! Your pets will be well cared for. We will follow all house and outside rules if provided. Ensure all gates are latched shut and pay full attention to your pet.

About: All my life I have had pets and taken care of other's animals! Although dogs are my favourite, I have experience with cats and love them too (don't tell my dog though)! About: I’ve been watching dogs for 7 years now. I love all types of dogs. But the first dog I ever got close to was a pitbull. He was the first over night dog sit/house sit. I ever did, the couple would travel often due to work. So I would dog sit about 2/3 times a week. I did that for about two years and gained a lot of experience with dogs due to that job. I also find dog walking a great way to stay healthy and active with out it feeling like a work out. I’ve enjoyed dogging sitting ever since I started and don’t plan to stop. There is a courtyard in my building that is dog friendly and three dog parks near my building as well. So they will always have room to run and be themselves. Should your pup be too big to carry and incapable of doing several sets of steps, this may not be the home for you :) As I prepare to study for my legal Licensing exams, I will be home all for the next six months to give your pup all the love and attention they deserve! Should there be an occasion where I must go out, my partner may stay home from work to accommodate! Despite my need to study, I love being active and so does my partner! Should your dog require extra walks or exercise, we would love to have them join us ! At minimum, we will include your furry friend on 3 large walks a day. Please continue reading for a description of our daily schedule: Morning: My partner and myself both wake up by about 7am. My partner typically leaves early, while I will be home to study and care for your furry friends. In the morning I will grab coffee and go for a walk of about 30 minutes before 8am, letting your pup out to pee as needed beforehand. Afternoon: In the afternoon, I often aim to go for about 1 hour of a walk minimum. I will go through the forest or alongside our neighborhood which is a quiet and less populated area of Ottawa. In doing so, there is plenty of room and opportunity to roam around should your pup enjoy such activities. Evening: Before dinner, I often like to walk for about 20 minutes prior to giving dinner. After we have all eaten, myself and my partner typically walk for about 45 minutes to one hour. In the evening, we enjoy down time at home, often reading or watching TV. Your furry friend will hang out with us! Before bed, there will be opportunity for one last walk or at least a pee! ** Note that walks and breaks will be given generously throughout the day. There will never be more than a 1-2 hour period without an outdoor break. Myself and my partner are both young professionals. My partner works as an IT consultant in a hybrid model while I work and study from home! We reside in a three story townhome, with ample room for your pup to run free and explore. There is nowhere in our home that is off limits to animals. We do not have a closed in backyard, but rather have our pee breaks in front of the home which faces a large forest and field. When I care for others pets, I typically set alarms for a walk or pee every 45 minutes to 1 hours. This ensures a check in or small pee break will never be forgotten in case of animals not knowing where to alert to go outside. With this in mind, I often take large and longer walks in between pee breaks in order to better break up the day. Please see the Schedule section to see a predicted daily schedule. Despite this, we are active individuals who love to walk and explore, ensuring your pup will have lots of opportunities to pee and explore as they wish 🐶. Please note, we have plenty of room for a crate should your dog require, but we do not posses one at the moment!
