About: I have cared for my family’s dogs for periods ranging from a few days to several months, and I have regularly lived with dogs for long periods of time. Through this experience, I understand that caring for animals requires time, patience, responsibility, and dedication. I truly enjoy helping animals feel safe, calm, and comfortable, and I always try to create a caring environment where they can feel relaxed and secure. Im available friday after 12m to Sunday, I would plan my daily routine to make sure your dog is included throughout the day, with dedicated time for rest, feeding, playtime, and exercise. Your dog would not only be cared for by one person, but welcomed as part of a family environment. I genuinely enjoy the company of animals and feel comfortable understanding their behaviors, needs, and personalities, which helps me provide attentive and caring support. I live in a large apartment with plenty of open space, around 50 square meters available for pets to move around comfortably. Even large dogs can move freely, and my home is free of fragile objects, so your dog will not feel restricted or stressed while staying with me. I also live near parks and pet-friendly walking areas, which makes it easy to provide regular outdoor exercise and enjoyable walks. I understand the needs and behaviors of animals, and I would adapt my daily routine to the schedule and specific needs of your pet. I am very protective of animals, so your dog would always be safe and carefully supervised with me, especially in open or public spaces. About: I am a registered nurse with experience in crisis and emergency situations. I have two cats of my own, and I would love to habe a dog but my current living situation wouldn't be ideal for a dog. I have previously taken care of dogs and cats for family members, friends, coworkers, and through professional experience outside of Rover (yay Kijiji). I am not shy with young animals, be it getting chewed on by a teething puppy or handling toilet training needs. I am confident administering medications to animals, and as one of my own cats is special needs, I am familiar with the importance of seemingly strange requests or needs for animals. I work part time, having one scheduled shift every 2 weeks and then having the opportunity to pick up shifts. I know my scheduled shifts far in advance, and I avoid picking up shifts if I am pet sitting. About: I had the absolute honour to be a dog Mom for 15 years. My beautiful Benjamin earned his angel wings in September 2023 but I still remember how hard it was to find a loving & attentive dog sitter who had senior dog experience, and it was through Rover that I met some really amazing dog-sitters and I'm forever grateful they were part of Benji's journey. Benji had diabetes for years so I have extensive experience administering needles and oral medication. I work from home on Fridays, and I am available all weekend and would dedicate every hour to looking after your fur baby. I’m currently in transition to retirement, so I will be available for full-time sitting as of January 1, 2027. For boarding, I am comfortable spending all of my free time outside of work with your baby. I don’t have any obligations that would take me away from focusing on your baby’s care. I also live in a very quiet neighborhood, so it would be a peaceful and enjoyable experience for your little one. I would be able to be home with your baby (Fri, Sat, Sun) but if you’re going on vacation and request more than those 3 days I’m more than happy to do 7 days a week, as long as you’re ok with them being alone on the 4 days I’m in the office (from 7am to 3pm). As of January 1, 2027, I will be fully retired and available 24/7. I have a fully fenced yard and live on a corner lot so there is lots to see and sniff even if just running around my yard, but I am happy to go on lots of leashed walks as well. I’m pretty good at interpreting the signs for potty time, but I love learning as much as I can from you about what your baby’s habits, needs and preferences are. Being a devoted dog Mom for 15 years, I was always extremely careful about making sure my Benji was safe and happy, and I did many things to avoid potential situations, such as crossing the street on walks if another dog looked aggressive, making sure I had eyes on him at all times and knowing what he was doing, even when sniffing the ground, making sure nothing was on the ground that could be hazardous. Nothing was more important to me than protecting my Benji and also making him feel super loved and relaxed. Trust is so important when choosing a dog-sitter. I’ve had a few negative experiences when I needed one in the past, so I know how awful it can be to search and have to settle for mediocre care when in a pinch, so it’s important to me to offer the utmost in care for your baby and for you to be assured that they are in good hands. I’ve had very positive experiences using Rover in the past as a dog owner & I’m excited to now be able to give positive experiences to other pet parents as a dog-sitter. About: Your pet will enjoy 3 walks a day and open access to our 10 acre hobby farm just on the outskirts of kemptville (just a few minutes from the 416 for easy drop off and pick up ). Most Saturdays guests will Also enjoy a walk on the historic town of merreckville. Both my husband and I are retired and are able to spend quality time with your pet every day. Starting with a morning walk on the property(dogs leashed at all times). We have several trail systems in our area to also provide afternoon walks We gave 40 years of experience with our own dogs and also taking care of family dogs when required. When we walk our dogs are always leashed . Visiting dogs are free to lounge on the back deck or lawns and will always be tethered

About: I have experience volunteering and working at the animal shelter (OSPCA) and have cared for friends and family member’s dogs on many occasions. I am compassionate towards all furry friends and do not punish bad behaviour, rather reward good behaviour.
