“Paige was a perfect fit for my large dog Walter - her home has a HUGE fenced In yard where the doggies can run free - when Walter stayed with Paige I was on vacation in Costa Rica for a week and through all the photos & communication that were sent by Paige I believe my dog had as good - IF NOT BETTER then the time I had. were other dogs that were in my terms “ on vacation “ as well which I found so comforting as my big boy loves to play ! Paige is confident to allow dogs off leash while on numerous walks. If I ever travel again I hope Walter is welcome back - highly recommend- peace of mind this was my first time using ROVER and I am 100% satisfied.”

About: Your pet will enjoy 3 walks a day and open access to our 10 acre hobby farm just on the outskirts of kemptville (just a few minutes from the 416 for easy drop off and pick up ). Most Saturdays guests will Also enjoy a walk on the historic town of merreckville. Everyone in our household loves spending time with dogs, so rest assured while you are away your pet will receive our full attention . Both my husband and I are retired and are able to spend quality time with your pet every day. Starting with a morning walk on the property(dogs leashed at all times). We have several trail systems in our area to also provide afternoon walks We gave 40 years of experience with our own dogs and also taking care of family dogs when required. When we walk our dogs are always leashed . Visiting dogs are free to lounge on the back deck or lawns and will always be tethered
About: I am a former dog owner of an 18 year old Cockapoo I lost 1,5 years ago. Prior to this I cared for my 19 year old Spaniel/terrier. In addition, I am listed on Trusted House sitters as a Five star House/pet sitter. My last girl, I took care of her in Pallative state, administering, meds, special allergy bathing , going to the Vet for fluids and other treatments. Carry her down the deck stairs for her potty time when her ability was no longer there to climb up and down stairs etc. I had both of my dogs as a puppy and trained them with some dog trainers and my own training. I still have bedding, dishes, wire and mesh crate, toys! I am retired, I have some spare time depending on some days between appointments and trips into Ottawa. I would be more available during the day and early evenings I have a fenced yard, with plenty of grass down below the deck area. I am close to walking trails and sidewalks outside of my home. I do have a wired and mesh crate. I may administer some oral medication. Walk, feed, give lots of love, hugs and attention to your fur baby!

Catherine is a lovely person and you can clearly tell that she has a natural passion for looking after dogs and always has their best interest and safety in mind. Her home and yard are very clean and organized. We received regular updates on how our puppy was doing with pictures and videos, which was so nice to receive. Our puppy had the company of Catherine’s own puppy and the two played really well with each other. About: I’ve been watching dogs for 7 years now. I love all types of dogs. But the first dog I ever got close to was a pitbull. He was the first over night dog sit/house sit. I ever did, the couple would travel often due to work. So I would dog sit about 2/3 times a week. I did that for about two years and gained a lot of experience with dogs due to that job. I also find dog walking a great way to stay healthy and active with out it feeling like a work out. I’ve enjoyed dogging sitting ever since I started and don’t plan to stop. About: I enjoy the company that dogs bring! I think they bring a lot of joy to life and are a necessity to having a happy life. I am a Registered Nurse at the Ottawa Hospital. My previous experience with animals has been established from having a lot of animals where I grew up in the country (dogs, cats , cows and goats) . My most honourable experience is my 15 year old Standard Poodle Alfie. Towards the end of his life he had some disabilities and required a lot of time and attention. So I have experience with this and I would do it all over again and that’s why I am here. I LOVE SENIOR dogs and I take preference over them to provide services as I know how they can be forgotten about and just because they aren’t as active doesn’t mean they don’t need the same things .Willing to dog sit as well at your place if it is feasible …in the future if need be or my place is fine. “Paige was a perfect fit for my large dog Walter - her home has a HUGE fenced In yard where the doggies can run free - when Walter stayed with Paige I was on vacation in Costa Rica for a week and through all the photos & communication that were sent by Paige I believe my dog had as good - IF NOT BETTER then the time I had. were other dogs that were in my terms “ on vacation “ as well which I found so comforting as my big boy loves to play ! Paige is confident to allow dogs off leash while on numerous walks. About: Your pet will enjoy 3 walks a day and open access to our 10 acre hobby farm just on the outskirts of kemptville (just a few minutes from the 416 for easy drop off and pick up ). Most Saturdays guests will Also enjoy a walk on the historic town of merreckville. Everyone in our household loves spending time with dogs, so rest assured while you are away your pet will receive our full attention . Both my husband and I are retired and are able to spend quality time with your pet every day. Starting with a morning walk on the property(dogs leashed at all times). We have several trail systems in our area to also provide afternoon walks We gave 40 years of experience with our own dogs and also taking care of family dogs when required. When we walk our dogs are always leashed . Visiting dogs are free to lounge on the back deck or lawns and will always be tethered

But beyond the training side, we simply love spending time with dogs. Long walks, playtime, cuddles, enrichment, and making them feel at home are the heart of what we do. Our goal is for you to leave feeling confident your dog is genuinely cared for, understood, and loved while you are away. We work regular weekdays 8-4. I work from home 2 days a week, which I can usually schedule to be home as much as possible while your dog is with us. When in the office, your dog will be lounging in our comfortable home from 7am-4pm. We have no current pets and only take one family at a time, so your dog(s) will have plenty of individualized attention and avoid the stress of other personalities. Our large property is not fenced, so we will always personally walk your dog around the property. This helps create a trust bond quickly with your dog, and means that your dog will never be left unsupervised in a yard. We love to send you pics throughout the visit!
