About: I have owned 2 dogs in my lifetime. My first dog Buster was a Terrypoo that we got after we got married and my son was a toddler. He was 14 when we had to make a tough decision. Then we got Sasha a Morkie she was just shy of 16 when we had to make another tough decision. I have also been fostering with Freedom Rescue since March of 2025. As I think about my stage of life, I want to travel in a few years, so I don't want to commit to owning another animal. That being said I still have lots of love and cuddles to spoil your pet with. I also have experience with a cat, my daughter got took in a kitten from outside at the beginning of Covid that lived with us up until May of this year when she moved out on her own. I am currently working 4 days a week at the office; my husband is retired and home all day. Just down the road there is a large park with soccer fields and lots of places to walk in the neighbourhood. We live in an end unit townhouse on a Private, so not a lot of traffic, 3 levels, with a fenced in back yard. I am ok with pets on my furniture if you are. If not, I will follow your rules.

I was really anxious to leave my babies (2 cats) for the first time, and after meeting her, I was honestly no longer nervous, because I knew she would take such amazing care of them. She followed all of my instructions about safety and feeding perfectly, and took the time to listen to everything I had to explain (which was a lot) so I appreciated that. She sent me so many photos and videos throughout her stay so I was never left wondering how they were doing - this gave me so much reassurance. Above all, she is a wonderfully sweet person who truly cares for animals and will treat your animals as if they are her own. I never had a doubt in my mind that my babies were being cared for and loved which was so important to me. About: I’ve lived with and taken care of many different dogs over my lifetime, including within my family and branching out to friends families as well. I have been seen as a go to for pet check ins, sittings, and walks. Recently, I have decided to branch out and make more four-legged friends! I was born an animal lover and every animal becomes my family. I can identify special needs in any animal such as first aid, anxiety issues etc I work from home, so your pet has 24/7 attention. Be prepared for your loved one to get 3-4 walks a day along with an hour play time or a trip to the dog park daily! I have a fenced yard. My golden retriever is very patient and loves all types of dogs. If your dog is allowed on the couch or bed, well so is mine. I would rather your dog be able to cuddle and be comfy right beside me during the night to make them feel trust, and feel more comfortable in a strange environment. I am able to make every animal feel like home. Just ask my references … if your dog likes burger patties from McDonalds or pup cups from star bucks… I’m your girl… I am very experienced with highly reactive and aggressive dogs as well. Unfortunately, I do Have a dog of my own, but can manage very well as I am highly trained with aggressive dogs. I believe all dogs can be trained in a well loved and supportive environment once triggers are identified I spoil every animal like it’s my own! Great with puppies and super forgiving. We all make mistakes even if it’s our furniture!!! I have tons of training experience to make this not happen! About: I have had my own dog and/or taken care of friends and family's dogs for close to 40 years. Now that I'm retired, I am home all day and available for walks, potty breaks, playtime throughout the day and evenings. We have nice walking paths for plenty of socialization or quiet streets for those who are more on the timid side. Work is now a thing of the past, ready to spend time with more furry four-leggers and less time with bossy two-leggers lol. My days are all about my dogs, reading and going for walks. I have a fully fenced yard, not a huge yard though which is why we prefer to go for multiple walks a day for exercise. “My dog came home super excited after his overnight visit. Was spoiled with walks to the offleash park, got to play with the watchers dog, and was shown photos throughout his stay. Lots of positives to share, no negatives from this first experience. Much appreciated and recommended.”
