About: I am a former dog owner of an 18 year old Cockapoo I lost 1,5 years ago. Prior to this I cared for my 19 year old Spaniel/terrier. In addition, I am listed on Trusted House sitters as a Five star House/pet sitter. My last girl, I took care of her in Pallative state, administering, meds, special allergy bathing , going to the Vet for fluids and other treatments. Carry her down the deck stairs for her potty time when her ability was no longer there to climb up and down stairs etc. I had both of my dogs as a puppy and trained them with some dog trainers and my own training. I still have bedding, dishes, wire and mesh crate, toys! I am retired, I have some spare time depending on some days between appointments and trips into Ottawa. I would be more available during the day and early evenings I have a fenced yard, with plenty of grass down below the deck area. I am close to walking trails and sidewalks outside of my home. I do have a wired and mesh crate. I may administer some oral medication. Walk, feed, give lots of love, hugs and attention to your fur baby!

About: My previous Doggo had epilepsy for 9 years before he passed, and was on an array of medications. I am extremely comfortable with administrating medications and following strict scheduled for medications/feedings. Ive also had cats for 4 years, so I am comfortable with the cat litter, playing, petting, cuddles. All my dogs have been 80+ lbs, so no issues with big breeds, for playing or walking. The animals are first in the routine with fresh water, food and outdoor exercise. I have a large, private lot that the dogs can play in on their leash. We have a large home where I provide very safe care for every animal.
About: I have cared for my family’s dogs for periods ranging from a few days to several months, and I have regularly lived with dogs for long periods of time. Through this experience, I understand that caring for animals requires time, patience, responsibility, and dedication. I truly enjoy helping animals feel safe, calm, and comfortable, and I always try to create a caring environment where they can feel relaxed and secure. Im available friday after 12m to Sunday, I would plan my daily routine to make sure your dog is included throughout the day, with dedicated time for rest, feeding, playtime, and exercise. Your dog would not only be cared for by one person, but welcomed as part of a family environment. I genuinely enjoy the company of animals and feel comfortable understanding their behaviors, needs, and personalities, which helps me provide attentive and caring support. I live in a large apartment with plenty of open space, around 50 square meters available for pets to move around comfortably. Even large dogs can move freely, and my home is free of fragile objects, so your dog will not feel restricted or stressed while staying with me. I also live near parks and pet-friendly walking areas, which makes it easy to provide regular outdoor exercise and enjoyable walks. I understand the needs and behaviors of animals, and I would adapt my daily routine to the schedule and specific needs of your pet. I am very protective of animals, so your dog would always be safe and carefully supervised with me, especially in open or public spaces. I believe in building trust and discipline through patience, consistency, and positive interaction rather than using force. In general, I connect well with animals and enjoy giving them a sense of safety, comfort, and confidence so they can feel protected and truly enjoy their time with me.

I am available mainly on weekends for my pet care services. If there is an urgent matter and I am required to be somewhere earlier, I will be flexible. I will ensure the safety and care of the pet preferably in the client's home. I will walk, feed and play with the pets toys with them. Once they develop a strong bond with me, they can happily sit on my lap, receive pets, scritches and more. Should the family request for updates, I will send them pictures or text messages pertaining to the behaviour as well as ask any questions I have before I begin pet sitting along with in the process.
