About: We're in the process of opening a kennel on our 27 acre homestead, until then, we're here on Rover! Let us give your pets an enriching experience while you're away, and you peace of mind that they are in not one but two sets of good hands. Our dog Styx loves all pets, big and small, but we also have experience and infrastructure for some personal space if your pet takes a little longer to warm up or has special needs. We are currently building a kennel on our wooded retreat, and in the meantime, our home is open! We are home full-time and spend our days outside tending to the property, bringing your pets along, with lots of water and indoor breaks. We have a fenced yard and the house is able to be segmented off depending on the needs (puppy pen, cat area with dogs, cat area dog free, day crated, whatever your comfort is.

About: 5 years of dog care Experience! Between having 2 of my own, I spent over 2 years at a daycare/Boarding facility helping take care of up to 120 dogs a day! Between feeding, cuddling, health checks and cleaning, I have a lot of knowledge ! Currently I have a full available schedule to help take care of all the precious babies out there! I would love the opportunity to be included in their day! As I have more than one dog in my household I would not be able to Have the at my place but available and trusted to house sit! I have tons of Experience with baths(if needed), Crates/Crate Training, leash Reactive/Dog reactive dogs!

I usually start my day by walking my dog, I am currently available every day during week and weekend to care for the needs of your pet. I am new to the Rover world but have lots of dog walking and animal care experience. I have a strong work ethic and a calm, attentive approach, which helps pets feel comfortable and well cared for while their owners are away. As a former Kennel Attendant at Kingston Humane Society, I’m experienced with daily feeding, watering, exercise, enrichment, and closely monitoring animal health and behavior. I’m confident following specific care instructions, administering basic care as directed, and recognizing when something doesn’t seem right. Cleanliness and safety are very important to me, and I always ensure food areas, supplies, and living spaces are kept sanitary and organized. I’m patient, gentle, and comfortable handling animals with different personalities, energy levels, and needs. Whether your pet loves long walks, playtime, or just quiet companionship, I make sure they feel secure, happy, and loved. I understand how important it is to trust someone with your pet, and I treat every animal as if they were my own. I will provide updates so you can have peace of mind while you’re away. I have lots of free time to spend caring for lots of furry, scaled or feathered friends ! About: Hi there! I’m Amanda — a lifelong animal lover and physiotherapist who also completed the Canine Rehabilitation program. I grew up at the stable, surrounded by animals my entire life, so caring for dogs and cats has always come naturally to me. I got my first dog for my ninth birthday and have since cared for pets from puppies to senior dogs well into their golden years. I currently share my home with two wonderful dogs, including one rescue pup I personally rehabilitated through patience, structure, and love. As a physiotherapist and certified canine rehab specialist, I have a strong understanding of mobility, comfort, and safe handling—especially for dogs recovering from injury, dealing with arthritis, or needing a bit of extra care. Whether it’s a playful pup, a gentle senior, or a pet who needs a little confidence and TLC, I treat every animal as if they were my own. You can count on me to provide warm, knowledgeable, and reliable care so you can feel at ease while you’re away. I work from home and have a very flexible schedule, which means I’m available for pet care during the day, evenings, and weekends. Since I’m home most of the time, your pets will get plenty of attention, love, and companionship throughout the day — just like they would with family. When caring for others’ pets, I always take the time to listen to their owners and follow each animal’s usual routine. I believe consistency and respect are key to helping pets feel safe, comfortable, and cared for — just like they would at home.

About: I've had a pet ever since I can remember, life's incomplete without one. I have lots of experience with various sizes of dogs, and with cats. I'm comfortable around all animals. I work full time but have full availability in the evenings and weekends. I also wake up early and have time in the morning to spend with pets! I have been around pets my entire life. Their safety in the most important thing to me. Building trust and a connection with your pet will be my priority, so that they feel safe while under my care!
