About: Your pet will enjoy 3 walks a day and open access to our 10 acre hobby farm just on the outskirts of kemptville (just a few minutes from the 416 for easy drop off and pick up ). Most Saturdays guests will Also enjoy a walk on the historic town of merreckville. Everyone in our household loves spending time with dogs, so rest assured while you are away your pet will receive our full attention . Both my husband and I are retired and are able to spend quality time with your pet every day. Starting with a morning walk on the property(dogs leashed at all times). We have several trail systems in our area to also provide afternoon walks We gave 40 years of experience with our own dogs and also taking care of family dogs when required. When we walk our dogs are always leashed . Visiting dogs are free to lounge on the back deck or lawns and will always be tethered

About: I am a former dog owner of an 18 year old Cockapoo I lost 1,5 years ago. Prior to this I cared for my 19 year old Spaniel/terrier. In addition, I am listed on Trusted House sitters as a Five star House/pet sitter. My last girl, I took care of her in Pallative state, administering, meds, special allergy bathing , going to the Vet for fluids and other treatments. Carry her down the deck stairs for her potty time when her ability was no longer there to climb up and down stairs etc. I had both of my dogs as a puppy and trained them with some dog trainers and my own training. I still have bedding, dishes, wire and mesh crate, toys! I am retired, I have some spare time depending on some days between appointments and trips into Ottawa. I would be more available during the day and early evenings I have a fenced yard, with plenty of grass down below the deck area. I am close to walking trails and sidewalks outside of my home. I do have a wired and mesh crate. I may administer some oral medication. Walk, feed, give lots of love, hugs and attention to your fur baby!

About: I’ve been showing dogs since the age of six, which has taught me how to handle different breeds of all ages and sizes. Outside the show ring I take on grooming; ex. trimming coats, nails and cleaning ears. I’m a lover of all dog breeds and would love to take care of your pup, whether it be through walking them or checking in while you’re away. I am a University student home for the summer. Although I work from 12:30-6pm Tuesday-Friday and 10-3pm Saturdays, I’m happy to care for your pet the rest of the day. Walks help get myself and your dog active while drop-ins help to relax and unwind from daily stress. Puppies; I have taken care of many puppies who have gone through all stages, and am well aware of the importance of the person and environment they are raised around. Due to this, I will gladly offer light training on the side (ie. preventing biting and jumping up) without additional fees but I understand if this is not necessary. Majority of visits will focus on play and working your pup’s mind to prevent under stimulation. Middle age; Visits will focus around both play and rest, the ratio varying on the breed. I will gladly play with any dog as well as ensuring they are calmed down before I leave to prevent frustration. Seniors; As someone with an old girl myself, I greatly understand the struggles of administering medications and the work that goes in to owning a veteran. I understand a plethora of massage techniques and will gladly help relieve any muscle pain your dog my experience without additional fees. In terms pf activity level, I will adjust depending on the dog, although with older ones I will be consistently watching to ensure they don’t stress their joints.

About: In the 15 years of raising my own dogs, I’ve learned that every dog is a unique soul. Because of that, I’m not just a sitter, I'm someone who understands the weight of the trust you’re placing in me; I’ve been in your shoes. Since I no longer have dogs of my own, I'd cherish the opportunity to meet and care for yours 🐶🐾 My routine leverages the freedom of "work from home" to blend professional productivity with intentional moments of bonding and activity with your pet. I am able to weave in multiple walks throughout the day and allow for quiet time too! My goal is always to provide a seamless transition that feels like a "home away from home." In my space, your dog will enjoy a spacious home with plenty of natural sunlight with a large, fully fenced yard perfect for safe exploration and afternoon naps in the grass. I believe pets are family, they are always welcome to curl up on the couch or lay on the bed... wherever they feel most comfortable.
