“Nicole and Eddie were wonderful with Daisy. They gave her lots of loving attention, took her on many walks with their dog, Keyser. They also took her to the pet store and had other activities planned for her during her stay. Keyser and Daisy get along well and are a good match for each other. We felt very confident leaving Daisy with Nicole and Eddie while we were on vacation, and loved the photos they sent us showing Daisy was having lots of fun.”

“I had never boarded our 8 year old chocolate lab before so I was nervous to leave him. Kim made us feel comfortable with plenty of pictures and updates throughout the week. They dogs got along great, enjoyed the whole house and she even let him sleep on the bed. I can’t say enough great things about this experience. She noticed his ears were bothering him and took the time to clean them (which he doesn’t normally let anyone do but me). Thank you Kim! ❤️”

“Shannon took great care of our dog. She kept us informed throughout the weekend and sent lots of great pictures. Riley came home happy and tired out. We would love to use Shannon's services again.”

“We can’t thank Lynda enough for the incredible care she gave Mickey during his three-week stay! She truly goes above and beyond caring for each dog with such genuine love, attention, and an understanding of their unique little quirks and needs. It was amazing to see how much confidence Mickey gained under her care. He quickly bonded with the pack and felt right at home with Lynda, her family, and her warm, welcoming environment. The daily updates, photos and videos, made us feel so connected and reassured. It was a joy to see Mickey happy, relaxed, and thriving. We are beyond grateful to have found Lynda, and there’s no doubt Mickey will be excited to return for his next visit!”

“Kristin and Justin are awesome. They have looked after our girl Frankie twice. Both times she was spoiled and well socialized. She comes back to us a better dog. Thanks again and see you next time.”

“Melissa was an absolute pleasure to meet and she is fantastic with dogs. My dogs fell in love with her immediately and listened to her very well, which speaks to her ability to connect and lead dogs. Highly recommend Melissa as a pet sitter.”

About: I’ve had tons of different animals growing up. Recently had to euthanize my 15 year old family boarder collie. Also an English bull dog who passed away at two due to breathing issues. I miss having a dog around, however am not ready to adopt my own just yet. Would love to have them over here and there. I Absolutely adore dogs! I currently work from home so I am always here to take care and love your animal! Will walk, feed, cuddle them and if permitted, take them where me and my family go, weather it’s a walk to the park or beach! We will love and care for your pet as our own. We have a backyard for them to pee/poo as well as a pool if they can swim. Will go on walks! I have two children who adore animals who are very gentle so we will all be spending lots of time together. Dog must be kid friendly though.
“This was Jassper’s 3rd stay with Jennifer, and the longest one. We left for one week for a family vacation, and missed our puppy tremendously! Jennifer was very supportive and consistent with leaving us daily reports and photos of Jasper’s days. I especially loved the photos of him hopping and jumping and having fun in their backyard, which shows how relaxed and at home he felt. I love that when Jasper stays with Jennifer, he becomes a part of the family, and is enjoyed by her children and husband as well. Jasper is like an annoying little brother to Shadow, Jennifer’s dog, but the photos of them laying down todether and walking and running together are precious. Thanks again Jennifer, for caring for our “baby”! We will most definitely be calling again in the future! Pam, Dean, Sam, Emily & 🐾 (Jasper)”
“Excellent service for us and my tiny pup. Joanna is very kind and caring for the dog and was very responsive when planning and answering questions. Awesome experience.”

“Amazing stay for our fur baby he was relaxed and so content from his stay! Lei took excellent care of Zeus kept us posted sent us videos and pictures we were very pleased and assured our little guy was in good hands. Lei even went out of her way to return the feeder bowls I forgot at pick up she drove them over. Honestly amazing 👏 thanks so much for having Zeus”

“Crash had a great first boarding experience. He’s never been away from us so I loved being able to leave him in a home environment with someone we know and trust. Trudy is accommodating to all of your pets needs”

“Absolutely wonderful care for our dog Bella!!! Laura goes above and beyond to make sure your dog is well taken care of as Laura loves dogs and making sure they are well treated and taken care of!!! Her family also has the same values of care for pets and makes sure your pet feels at home!!!”

“As a repeat client, I can’t recommend Hui enough! She took Bruiser on beautiful walks, sent many sweet videos and updates, and overall provides a safe and loving environment.”

“Jacqueline and Jamie are fantastic dog whisperers. The affection that is elaborated on our doodle is obvious. He gets his important snuggle time and his time with the dog pack simultaneously. The grooming and thorough check after every walk for ticks is reaffirming. We know that our boy is being well taken care of and highly recommend Jacqueline and Jamie.”

“Sarah was wonderful with my pup, Nessa. Lots of space for adventures, puppy friends to play with, lots of updates and pics. She really cares about the dogs, and wouldn’t hesitate to book with her again. 2 thumbs up, 5 stars, and 10 out of 10”

“You will definitely be able to trust your pet to Mia, who is very professional in her approach and a carrying Rover host. We left our energetic 4 year old dog with Mia twice (day sit and an overnight sit) during August 2026, and Mia handled our dog well, including many long walks, which our dog needs. Our dog came home completely relaxed. Mia is on a large and private waterfront property so that your dog can enjoy going into the lake, or if needed/preferred, Mia will keep your dog leashed at all times, outside. Either way, you can be rest assured that your pet will be safe and happy with Mia. Mia has her own dog, pictured in her photo above, who is very relaxed with other dogs, and Mia keeps her own dog on leash at all times, outdoors. Our dog walked along with Mia's dog, like he was with his brother. In summary, we were very pleased with her help and shall be asking for Mia's help, in the future, whenever we are in need of her services.”

“It’s quite difficult for me and I believe many others, to leave a much loved dog in the care of anyone I do not know very well. Michaela’s calm approach seemed to immediately let my puppy relax and happily go with her. Seeing my Cali relax was definitely reassuring. Michaela also sent me a photo of Cali probably 30 minutes after I left, further convincing me that I had made a good decision in my choice of sitter! All around a very positive experience. I wouldn’t hesitate to choose Michaela again, to take care of Cali.”

“Suzanne and Adrian were the best host for our dog. Our dog chewed its leash but they were kind enough to get a replacement and a bonus toy :-). They were great in accommodating our last minute request and they were sure to give us heads up and updates of our dog every day. Keep up good job S&A”

“Meaghan was wonderful! She took great care of my two dogs, Rex and Biscuit during her drop in visit, and kept me updated with kind messages and photos throughout. About: Hi there! I’m Amanda — a lifelong animal lover and physiotherapist who also completed the Canine Rehabilitation program. I grew up at the stable, surrounded by animals my entire life, so caring for dogs and cats has always come naturally to me. I got my first dog for my ninth birthday and have since cared for pets from puppies to senior dogs well into their golden years. I currently share my home with two wonderful dogs, including one rescue pup I personally rehabilitated through patience, structure, and love. As a physiotherapist and certified canine rehab specialist, I have a strong understanding of mobility, comfort, and safe handling—especially for dogs recovering from injury, dealing with arthritis, or needing a bit of extra care. Whether it’s a playful pup, a gentle senior, or a pet who needs a little confidence and TLC, I treat every animal as if they were my own. You can count on me to provide warm, knowledgeable, and reliable care so you can feel at ease while you’re away. I work from home and have a very flexible schedule, which means I’m available for pet care during the day, evenings, and weekends. Since I’m home most of the time, your pets will get plenty of attention, love, and companionship throughout the day — just like they would with family. When caring for others’ pets, I always take the time to listen to their owners and follow each animal’s usual routine. I believe consistency and respect are key to helping pets feel safe, comfortable, and cared for — just like they would at home.

“This was Daisy's first doggie Day Care with Nicole, Eddie and Keyser. Daisy loved her play date with Keyser, who is a husky mix. Both dogs have lots of energy and Nicole and Eddie are experienced dog owners who know how to handle active dogs. They took Daisy for lots of long walks, played ball and had some quite time with lots of cuddles. Nicole sent photos and messages to keep us up to date and reassured us Daisy was having a good time.”

About: *PLEASE NOTE THAT MY AVAILABILITY & CLIENT LIST IS NOW CLOSED FOR 2023. For additional updates. Hello! My name is Allie. I've owned four rescued huskies. I currently have two young rescued huskies and two cats! I walk, groom, feed, and train my animals. I have fostered two dogs, one which was a palliative case. I am comfortable giving medication and other medical care (ie: ear cleaning). I have been paid to board two dogs by a private client and had them as clients for a year. With the dog rescue I volunteer with, I have provided transport for dogs ranging in personality. I work full time from home, Monday - Friday. With my own dogs, they receive 4 walks per day (2 hours total), along with 30 mins of playtime. We visit a private fenced dog park. I spend most of my free time with my dogs. I am also heavily involved with an Ottawa based dog rescue. I transport dogs, have fostered, and do short term dog sitting for fosters. My dogs are fitted with a harness and I use a waist belt to walk them. No dropped leashes! Unless you have a preference, for safety, your dog would be double leashed - one waist belt and one slip lead. I have double front doors, helping to prevent any escaped dogs. I own two huskies so am very familiar with escape artists. Any toys or bones given (strictly only with request or permission from owner) will only be with the dog when supervised (helps to prevent obstructions & other possible injuries) I have a completely fenced backyard. However, your dog would still be supervised while outside. We will not meet other dogs while walking unless you would like your dog to. Proper communication will be used with other dog owners and off leash dogs will not be allowed to approach. This keeps all parties safe and comfortable.

About: Dogs, cats, rabbits, horses, you name it! I have a decade of experience and care for your pet. With love and compassion I am happy to help. I have a very flexible schedule to meet your pets needs. Weekend, week day, or holiday availability. Pets need love and care 365 days a year! I am happy to follow your pets routine and make sure they are happy and safe while in my care. I understand that they will miss you and will do my best to make sure they enjoy our time together.
About: I'm 22, I've had animals my entire existence including reptiles. I live on 4 acres of mostly fenced in yard for your babies to run around. I'm flexible on anything you need for your babies. (And I can babysit your reptiles) I currently have no job but I'm looking for a part-time so I can continue to focus on meeting all sorts of new animals that need somewhere to snooze and play. I have a mostly fenced yard, three doggos that are super friendly to everything. I have experience with vet medicine and crate training. I have LOTS of safe dog toys that need to be played with.
About: I've had dogs for the last 20 years, usually with four in the house at a time. We've had a Shih-tzu, three Jack-Shih-tzus, a Great Pyrenees, and now a solo Maltie-Poo named Dozer. Every dog I meet is a new friend, and I have to admit that I knew the names of all the dogs in my last neighborhood, and like maybe three of the owners names. Happy to walk active dogs that need long walks. For doggy day care and boarding we have to restrict it to small dogs because our own small dog is picky about which larger dogs he likes. Other animals: I've also taken care of farm animals. Dairy cows and calves, and feeding chickens and putting them in for the night. I've kept both freshwater and marine tanks and can check up on your fish or your reef while you're away. No worrying about your niece or nephew dumping a whole container of bug bites into the tank while you're gone and causing an ammonia spike. I've also kept constrictors and colubrids (but not currently), crested geckos, and dart frogs, and am familiar with the husbandry of each. I have a flexible schedule and am in between writing contracts at the moment so have lots of time available for scheduling check-ins and walks for local puppers. I can check-on and feed pets as needed, dispense necessary meds, walk them from your home, or load them in the car and take them to the Cataraqui Trail for longer walks / more active dogs.
“I wish there was more then five stars to give because I would give Jacqueline and Jamie 10, they were so professional and you can tell that they love taking care of pets, regular updates were given without me asking how our pup was doing, they had him out for many walks and had lots of play time with him, they were just so amazing I was blown away how great they were. I will definitely be bringing our golden pup for daycare with them again.”

“Sawyer has had a great start with Jacelyn and Jason. He has never had dog sitting before, and he has not spent a lot of time away from friends and family. With back to the office starting, we were looking for a solution and he has been really good so far. On his second visit when he hopped out of the car and realized where he was he went straight for the door, tail wagging which is a great sign. We plan to continue booking and working with them as care providers for Sawyer.”

“Keva got to spend a day with Alaina and a few of her furry friends while the parents were at an event. Keva came home tired and happy. How wonderful that she was able to play with new friends instead of staying home alone. We have already booked with Alaina again!”

“Rodrigo and his mother took great care of Zoey! It was our first time leaving her away from us, so we were a bit nervous, especially because she’s still a young puppy and needs a lot of attention. They were very understanding, patient, and caring with her, which gave us a lot of peace of mind. Rodrigo also sent us many updates throughout the day, which really helped us feel reassured and connected while she was with them. We could tell she was well looked after and in good hands. I definitely recommend them to anyone looking for someone trustworthy and kind to care for their dog!”

“We had a wonderful experience with Stephanie! She took amazing care of Remi for the day, sending lots of pictures and updates to keep me in the loop. You can be completely at ease knowing your pets are being loved and cared for by her and her family. Highly recommend!”

“Jennifer was kind and warm at the meet & greet and, fortunately for me, was available to provide daycare on fairly short notice for my recently adopted older dog. I felt confident that Misty was in safe and caring hands. She came home tired and happy after a full day of fun and attention.”

About: I’ve been watching dogs for 7 years now. I love all types of dogs. But the first dog I ever got close to was a pitbull. He was the first over night dog sit/house sit. I ever did, the couple would travel often due to work. So I would dog sit about 2/3 times a week. I did that for about two years and gained a lot of experience with dogs due to that job. I also find dog walking a great way to stay healthy and active with out it feeling like a work out. I’ve enjoyed dogging sitting ever since I started and don’t plan to stop. So for now that I can’t get a dog of my own. I’ll just watch yours ! Just send me a message and ill send you my number so we can set up a meeting. Price is negotiable. I’m currently a full time student online so I’m looking to make cash while staying active and happy and what a better way than to pet sit. I’ve loved animal since I was a little girl so being around them always brings me joy and as you’ll see they take a liking to me as well. Even the pups you think won’t, always end up loving me as well. I live in a very spacious one bedroom apartment with a balcony alone so they always feel free and nice fresh air. There is a courtyard in my building that is dog friendly and three dog parks near my building as well. So they will always have room to run and be themselves. I am a full time online student so I would be spending my whole day with your pups. They would always be in great care with love and attention. I have a nice courtyard in my building that’s pet friendly and they can play and I also have three dog parks in my area. Where they can run around and meet new pups if allowed I am currently an full time online student so I would be with your pup the whole day. If you’d like to hear my specific daily routine let me know 😊 I usually stick to the routine a parent gives me so they can feel as comfortable as possible while staying with me or if I’m staying in their home.
About: I’ve cared for my own pets as well as dogs belonging to family and friends, giving me experience with a variety of breeds, personalities, and energy levels. I’m comfortable with feeding, refreshing water, walks, playtime, bathroom breaks, and making sure every pet gets plenty of love, attention, and companionship. Whether your dog loves long walks, playing fetch, cuddling on the couch, or simply having someone by their side, I’ll provide personalized care based on their individual needs and personality. Your pet’s safety and happiness are my top priorities. I’ll treat them like one of my own and keep you updated with regular photos and messages, so you can relax knowing they’re in caring and reliable hands. I’m currently on summer break from university, so I have a very flexible schedule and plenty of availability for pet sitting, drop-in visits, and walks. Whether you need care during the week, on weekends, or even on short notice, I’d be happy to work with your schedule whenever possible. When caring for pets in your home, my priority is making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and relaxed in their familiar environment. I carefully follow your pet’s routine, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and any specific instructions you provide, so their day stays as normal as possible. I understand the importance of trust when welcoming someone into your home. I’ll treat both your pet and your home with the utmost respect, keeping everything clean, secure, and exactly as you left it. I’ll also provide regular photo and message updates so you can have peace of mind knowing your pet is happy and well cared for while you’re away.
About: I have cared for my family’s dogs for periods ranging from a few days to several months, and I have regularly lived with dogs for long periods of time. Through this experience, I understand that caring for animals requires time, patience, responsibility, and dedication. I truly enjoy helping animals feel safe, calm, and comfortable, and I always try to create a caring environment where they can feel relaxed and secure. I would plan my daily routine to make sure your dog is included throughout the day, with dedicated time for rest, feeding, playtime, and exercise. Your dog would not only be cared for by one person, but welcomed as part of a family environment. I genuinely enjoy the company of animals and feel comfortable understanding their behaviors, needs, and personalities, which helps me provide attentive and caring support. I live in an apartment with balcony, available for pets to move around comfortably. Even large dogs can move freely, and my home is free of fragile objects, so your dog will not feel restricted or stressed while staying with me. I also live near parks and pet-friendly walking areas, which makes it easy to provide regular outdoor exercise and enjoyable walks. I understand the needs and behaviors of animals, and I would adapt my daily routine to the schedule and specific needs of your pet. I am very protective of animals, so your dog would always be safe and carefully supervised with me, especially in open or public spaces. I believe in building trust and discipline through patience, consistency, and positive interaction rather than using force. In general, I connect well with animals and enjoy giving them a sense of safety, comfort, and confidence so they can feel protected and truly enjoy their time with me.

About: We're in the process of opening a kennel on our 27 acre homestead, until then, we're here on Rover! Let us give your pets an enriching experience while you're away, and you peace of mind that they are in not one but two sets of good hands. Our dog Styx loves all pets, big and small, but we also have experience and infrastructure for some personal space if your pet takes a little longer to warm up or has special needs. We are currently building a kennel on our wooded retreat, and in the meantime, our home is open! We are home full-time and spend our days outside tending to the property, bringing your pets along, with lots of water and indoor breaks. We have a fenced yard and the house is able to be segmented off depending on the needs (puppy pen, cat area with dogs, cat area dog free, day crated, whatever your comfort is.

“Kavya took care of Bailey while we were away. Bailey made herself at home and was treated like family! I received news and photos every few days, it was perfect! Thanks!”

“Meghan & Jon took amazing care of our dog, Charlie! Great communication, lots of love, and peace of mind while we were away. Highly recommend and will definitely book again!”

“Kaori is a wonderful and very knowledgeable dog sitter. My dog Bruno was very well taken care of when he stayed with Kaori and family in August 2021 for 2 nights. Kaori sent us daily updates and lots of photos. We will definitely use her services again!”

“We are so fortunate to have matched with Michelle! She not only watches Reese, she is active with him everyday, long walks, teaching him tricks, and giving belly scratches! For this visit, Michelle gave extra attention to Reese giving him medication, observing diet restrictions until Reese was on the mend. Michelle cares for Reese as if he were her own and, because of this, we were able to travel knowing that Reese was going to be well cared for and be nursed back to health. Michelle will always be our first choice!”

“Ali is always so great with Tiko! Usually she helps with dog walking while I’m at work, and most recently she watched him for the week while I took a trip - I was so thankful that he was able to stay with someone he loves and trusts! Highly recommend Ali to anyone!”
