“This was Daisy's first time boarding with Nellie and Louise. She settled in really well thanks to Nellie's wonderful care, along with her skills and experience interacting with dogs. Nellie provided Daisy with lots of outdoor exercise both at the off leash dog park and her fenced in yard. This was ideal for Daisy, as Daisy is quite energetic and loves socializing with other dogs - Louise was great play mate. Nellie is also great at communicating, and reassured me that Daisy was doing well by sending me photos and video of her time spent at her dog friendly home. About: My name is Samantha and I've been a lifelong lover of all creatures great and small! I am currently a mom to a 8 year old miniature schnauzer, but I've had a kitty or dog companion by my side my entire life. I'm new to Mississippi Mills and I would love to meet your pet. Friends in Ottawa have relied on me to check in on their fur babies, take them for walks, feed them dinner, or simply spend time with them! I'm very reliable, I work from home 4 out of 5 week days, have a car, am flexible and adaptive. I work from home 4 out of 5 days of the week and am typically available on evenings and weekends. If your pup likes other pups I can have them join in on my routine walks with my little schnauzer. If not, that's cool too! I'm always down for a solo walk. I will do whatever it takes to make sure your furry baby will be well taken care of! I can be trusted to do drop in visits, spend time petting, playing with, feeding or walking your baby.

About: I've had dogs for the last 20 years, usually with four in the house at a time. We've had a Shih-tzu, three Jack-Shih-tzus, a Great Pyrenees, and now a solo Maltie-Poo named Dozer. Every dog I meet is a new friend, and I have to admit that I knew the names of all the dogs in my last neighborhood, and like maybe three of the owners names. Happy to walk active dogs that need long walks. For doggy day care and boarding we have to restrict it to small dogs because our own small dog is picky about which larger dogs he likes. Other animals: I've also taken care of farm animals. Dairy cows and calves, and feeding chickens and putting them in for the night. I've kept both freshwater and marine tanks and can check up on your fish or your reef while you're away. No worrying about your niece or nephew dumping a whole container of bug bites into the tank while you're gone and causing an ammonia spike. I've also kept constrictors and colubrids (but not currently), crested geckos, and dart frogs, and am familiar with the husbandry of each. I have a flexible schedule and am in between writing contracts at the moment so have lots of time available for scheduling check-ins and walks for local puppers. I can check-on and feed pets as needed, dispense necessary meds, walk them from your home, or load them in the car and take them to the Cataraqui Trail for longer walks / more active dogs.

About: I grew up with pets, have owned my own dogs and cats and have been dog sitting for the last few years! I see these animals not just as pets, but as peoples' family members. Who need someone to care for them just as their owners would - while they are missing their people! I'm happy to feed, brush, walk, play and snuggle! I work 5 days a week, 3 of which are from home. Generally within any day I have quite a bit of flexibility to set my schedule and do what needs to be done! My yard is not fully fenced, however I'm happy to take dogs out for walks as needed or supervise in the yard, on a leash or not.
