“Our experience with Meghan & Jon was perfect from beginning to end. All interactions were pleasant, friendly and they were very flexible on drop off/pickup times to meet our schedule. As soon as we arrived for our drop off our 13 year old fur baby Polar walked in like he owned the place and he was immediately relaxed. I received a message half way through the stay with a picture of Polar lounging on their sofa. I could tell he was enjoying his stay so much so that I almost started to worry he wouldn't want to come home at the end of his stay :) If you need a sitter for your fur baby look no further. Meghan and Jon provide a warm friendly family environment that clearly loves dogs.”

“We were a bit nervous leaving our 10.5yr old Lab, 1. because she is getting older, stubborn, and occasionally "whiny", and 2. since she hasn't even been in a kennel since before COVID. We met Allison and her daughter when we brought Darva for a first check suggested by Allison, that made sense to see if our dogs had innate antipathies,and could be civil with each other. All went well. A few days later we brought our dog over and left her while we had a day out of town. Allison sent us a picture of our dog to show that she was fine - and our dog was actually looking at the camera, which was unusual since she normally refuses when anyone points a "soul-sucker" in her direction, and turns her head away We found the care and the place good for our dog and know that Allison did all she could to alleviate any of our concerns..”

About: Hey! I’ve had pets in my home my whole life (from hamsters to large breed dogs). My family fostered animals from the Ottawa Humane Society for 10 plus years. I have experience with all kids of fur babies :) I work from home Monday-Friday so I have lots of flexibilty. I live in a quiet community perfect for dog walks, and have a yard for supervised potty breaks. My home is very pet friendly. I have no issues with pet hair on furniture or the occasional mess. I have my own three legged kitty who is dog friendly. I love to give affection to pets and allow them on my furniture.

I have a current routine with my house dog and happy to extend or tweak that to accommodate your preference. I have plenty of space in a clean, quiet multi-storey and air-conditioned townhouse to keep your dog safe and happy. My white fluffy chill Samoyed will provide the most friendly doggie company. I can accommodate most meal and drug requests. We usually have a 30-40 min morning walk at Walter Baker park, 1-2 times daytime break in the neighborhood, and a 40 min - 1 hour evening walk. At night time, with owners’ approval, we do some light training such as basic commands, agility with tunnels and jumps. Teeth brushing before bed time is available if the dog is already accustomed to it.

Basically, aside from my job, which I mostly do remote dogs are my first priority and get the current attention. They need hourly if not minute by minute. I treat others dogs like I treat my own with love, warmth, and caring. I exercise the dogs daily and give them what they need to make sure that they’re tired out and before I ever leave the house for an hour or two if I need to, I make sure that they are let outside and that they’ve done their business so they don’t have to wait for me to get back.
