I currently have two young rescued huskies and two cats! I walk, groom, feed, and train my animals. I have fostered two dogs, one which was a palliative case. I am comfortable giving medication and other medical care (ie: ear cleaning). I have been paid to board two dogs by a private client and had them as clients for a year. With the dog rescue I volunteer with, I have provided transport for dogs ranging in personality.

Allie has such a great energy with Kit! She is clearly familiar with sensitive dogs and was amazing at reading Kit’s body language and moving at her pace. She was attentive to Kit’s needs, understanding accepting of her quirks and kept us well updated throughout her stay. We are so grateful to have connected with her!!
Allie took wonderful care of our Sheltie, Misty. Our dog is not feeling well and Allie was especially caring and attentive. We received lots of great photos of Misty during our weekend away from home. Our house was spotless when we arrived back. We highly recommend Allie as a home and pet sitter.
Allison was absolutely fantastic with our dog Kaia! She sent pictures to us every day, and made sure Kaia felt loved! When we arrived back home, the house was immaculate and Kaia was calm and happy. I absolutely cannot recommend Allison highly enough. She is punctual, professional and kind. I would have no hesitation in booking her service again in the future.
Allison is absolutely amazing! This was our first experience leaving our husky behind and thanks to Allison, we were able to enjoy our trip worry-free. Although she is familiar with the breed, Allison took the time to get to know our dog's quirks (i.e. eating, sleeping, walking (hunting) habits, etc.). She sent regular updates and pictures while we were away which the whole family loved receiving. Our doggo was clearly loved, cuddled, kept safe, walked and entertained for the duration of her stay! Thank you so much Allison! We will be in touch again for sure.

Allison has watched my dog and my foster dogs for me many times. She always sees the best in every dog's personality. In particular is an excellent resource for nervous dogs, as she truly understands how to make them feel safe and is a very good advocate for their emotional needs. On the other end of the spectrum, she equally delights in my own dog's confident high energy pizzaz, and does a great job helping her settle with the excitement of a new routine. Any dog I trust her with comes back happy, a true sign that they've been treated well!

Schedule
I work full time from home, Monday - Friday. With my own dogs, they receive 4 walks per day (2 hours total), along with 30 mins of playtime. We visit a private fenced dog park. I spend most of my free time with my dogs. I am also heavily involved with an Ottawa based dog rescue. I transport dogs, have fostered, and do short term dog sitting for fosters.

Safety, trust & environment
My dogs are fitted with a harness and I use a waist belt to walk them. No dropped leashes! Unless you have a preference, for safety, your dog would be double leashed - one waist belt and one slip lead. I have double front doors, helping to prevent any escaped dogs. I own two huskies so am very familiar with escape artists. Any toys or bones given (strictly only with request or permission from owner) will only be with the dog when supervised (helps to prevent obstructions & other possible injuries) I have a completely fenced backyard. However, your dog would still be supervised while outside. We will not meet other dogs while walking unless you would like your dog to. Proper communication will be used with other dog owners and off leash dogs will not be allowed to approach. This keeps all parties safe and comfortable.

Your pet's day will depend on their interests and normal routine. Walks, puzzles, fetch, tug of war, and cuddling are all examples of what your pet's day may contain.
