About: I got my first dog when I turned 16 years old and have never looked back. They have been such a great source of joy for so many reasons! I have traveled with them, trained and showed them and had a blast with agility and flyball. I love teaching them and bonding with them all! Fostered mom's and their pups has been one of my greatest joys! With a vet tech background, I am not intimidated by giving medications, or treating dogs if needed. I am very active with my dogs, enjoy walking them and spending time with them. When family and friends bring their dogs for sleepovers, they enjoy full access to our home ans become one of the family. I work from home and don't often leave the house for more than an hour or two. Mornings usually begin around 6 with a bathroom break , breakfast and a nice long walk. I have a fully fenced yard where visiting dogs can roam and enjoy as much as they want. As a long time owner of Jack Russell Terriers, I know some dogs need more stimulation like throwing the ball or nice long walks.

About: Growing up in the countryside in Ireland I've had many dogs through the years. Ranging from Jack Russell's, Collies, Labrador to Doberman. Big and Small I've seen em all! I adapt the pace and route based on their energy, needs, and personality, whether they enjoy sniffing around or need a more active walk. About: As a Rover client in the past, I totally understand the value of being comfortable with your pet’s caregiver and I am very receptive to both the pet and owner’s needs. I have plenty of experience caring for dogs and cats-and a responsible, soft heart full of love for all creatures. My son is in school full time and lives with me half of the time. He is a calm child who respects boundaries and has spent a lot of time around both dogs and cats. That’s extra love for your pet-if that’s what they are comfortable with! While I no longer have any pets of my own, I absolutely love the joy and company that they bring. I’m now a homeowner, with a big yard (unfenced), direct access to walking trails, and a work from home job that will largely keep me at your cat or dog’s beck and call! A bit more about my animal experience: My first ever job was as a summer student at the SPCA (many moons ago..!) From there followed years of volunteer experience in the shelter system and in other countries (which led me to my Mexican street dog Trooper for 13 glorious years 💘). My first pet, Squirt the cat, was mine to love for 18 years. I mainly work from home and am by your pet’s side most of the time. When boarding for longer than a night, I will inevitability need to run out for short periods of time, so your pet will need to be comfortable and safe with sometimes being alone. We can chat about your pet’s needs in more detail before booking. I have a welcoming home that is best suited to easy going or mature pets. Young dogs may be a good fit depending on training and behaviours. We are the perfect home for cats to feel safe and secure and loved! Your pet will always be on leash when we head outside. I prefer a harness as this tends to cause less pulling and is more secure. My yard is unfenced so if your dog is not comfortable on a leash or tends to break away then this might not be a good fit. We will chat in detail before booking about sleeping, feeding, health concerns and keeping in contact when you are away. A meet and greet before we book is a must and a great way to learn more about each other.

About: I am a responsible, reliable, and experienced animal lover. I have adopted 14 total dogs and cats of my own over the years. I have also been a volunteer through the Humane Society, Boxer Rescue Ontario (BRO), and the SPCA over the years. I am currently an approved foster mom for BRO and have had 18 foster dogs in our home over the past few years. I have learned a ton from that experience and my other volunteer work and have applied it with my own fur babies and others that I have looked after for family and friends. I would treat your pet as my own for the duration of their stay and/or the time I spend caring for them. I have recently taken early retirement from a corporate "9 to 5" job. I like to keep busy and have a lot of time now for my volunteer work and for animal care through Rover. I have a large fully fenced backyard that my pets and visiting pets would play in safely. I do not let my dogs or any others in my care outside of the yard in an off leash situation. When going outside of my home, your pets and mine will be managed on leash for their safety. Also, being a fur mom myself, we do not leave anything on counters or around the home that dogs or cats could get into for their own safety. In a home visit situation, I will treat your fur baby and your home with the utmost care and respect as if it were my own home.

About: I love animals and will make sure your dog will be loved more than anything else. Being a pet owner myself I understand the worries of leaving your pet in the care of someone else. I would like to put your mind at ease and give your pet the best experience possible. I work from home and have a small multipoo that will be a wonderful host to your pet. I have time for frequent potty breaks and 2 long walks per day, can do more if required. Pets are allowed to sleep on the furniture and on the bed if that is what they are used to. I have two older children and a husband that loves animals too! This will be your pets favorite vacation home. I only take one dog at a time and you will get plenty of pictures and videos during their stay. I foster rescue dogs regularly and a volunteer at a animal shelter, comfortable in administering medicine, I have experienced in talking care of puppies as well as senior dogs.

About: I have a true love for animals. I believe whole heartedly that animals are the best therapy. Im looking forward to incorporating animal therapy into my future social work career. I recently graduated with my social service worker diploma and will be heading to Seneca in the fall to finish my degree in mental health. Currently a full time college student who is stepping away from her healthcare career. Looking to find something to fill my day that also brings me joy.
