But this amazing couple suggested a meet and greet, and it completely put me at ease. They were warm, welcoming, and clearly experienced. Ernesto took to them right away, and I instantly felt comfortable. During his stay, everything went perfectly. About: Lifelong Animal Lover With 10+ Years Vet Experience 🐾 Hi! I’m so glad you’re here. My name is Bailey, and I offer in-home pet boarding, daycare, and care for small to medium dogs, cats, and small animals. My pricing is set at what I believe is a fair reflection of my experience in the veterinary industry, the quality of care I provide, and the time dedicated to your pet. At the same time, I work hard to keep my services affordable because I understand firsthand how expensive being a pet parent can be. My goal is to provide trusted, professional care without adding financial stress. I’ve worked in the veterinary field for over 10 years, and I now work from home for a pet microchip company—meaning I’m available, attentive, and trained to notice even the smallest changes in your pet’s behavior or health. Safety and comfort are always my top priorities. I share my home with two friendly chihuahuas, two bunnies, and 3 pet rats, all of whom are used to meeting new animals and do great with visitors. I also have a gentle, animal-loving 7-year-old who has grown up around pets and understands how to treat them with care and respect. Animals have been my passion since childhood, and I love creating a calm, fun, and secure environment where your pet can feel like part of the family. Whether your pet needs cuddles, playtime, supervision, or just a quiet place to relax, I’m here to make their stay safe and enjoyable. If you have any questions or special requests, feel free to reach out—I’d love to meet you and your furry (or fluffy!) family member! I currently work from home for a pet microchip company—so I’m home and available all day. Since the company is very pet-friendly, they’re incredibly accommodating when it comes to things like background noise, potty breaks, or anything else your pet may need. Plus, my own 2 dogs are home with me all day and would love to play with your pet! When your pet is in my home, they’ll be treated just like my own! They have full access to the couch and all areas of my pet-friendly two-bedroom apartment. You’re welcome to bring any personal items—beds, blankets, toys, or anything that helps your pet feel more at home—but we also have plenty of toys and treats here for them to enjoy. My two dogs use pee pads during the winter months, but I’m absolutely able to take your dog out for walks if that’s part of their routine. If your pet is also pee-pad trained, that works perfectly for us.
“Cassandra was amazing, we were super lucky to have found her. She was very gentle and patient with my two pups. She was very prompt to respond and sent us updates regularly. We will definitely be reaching out again to Cassandra for any future requirements - would recommend her to anyone who’s looking for a caring place their pups.”

“Sally was an absolute pleasure to work with. My dog is on meds 4x/day and has epilepsy. I haven’t ever left her with anyone who is not family, so I was pretty nervous. Sally sent constant updates with photos and videos, tracked the timing the medicine was given and the amount of food, and was so reassuring. I honestly couldn’t have chosen a better dog sitter. I would recommend her to anyone and everyone looking for a dog sitter! I will most definitely be bringing Juniper back here. She had a great time :)”

“Our dog was really well taken care of. Lots of updates and a very kind experience for our fur-baby. Hong and Mark’s love for dogs and commitment to ensuring a quality service is apparent in all their efforts. Will definitely use again.”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Orangeville
Sarah took wonderful care of our dog over the past week, and we couldn’t be happier with the experience. She was reliable, attentive, and clearly genuinely cared about our pet’s well-being. Throughout our time away, she kept us updated and gave us peace of mind knowing our dog was in great hands. When we returned, our dog was happy, comfortable, and well cared for, which speaks volumes about the attention and affection Sarah provided. We truly appreciated her professionalism, communication, and dedication. We would highly recommend Sarah to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring dog sitter, and we would gladly have her look after our dog again in the future.

We left our little guys in the care of Warren and Angelika for two weeks while we were on vacation. We got several updates with photos each day. Our dogs seemed happy and at home with them which was a big relief as it is hard to leave your pets with someone else. At the end of our trip we had a serious family emergency and Warren and Angelika could not have been more kind. They are very nice people. I would definitely recommend using them.

Thank you for another great stay for Maggie. We appreciated your wonderful care of her for her first overnight stay away from us. Also, the videos and photos were so reassuring for us to see her well and happy. Thank you again, we will definitely bring Maggie back when boarding or daycare needs arise in the future!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they do not have any disqualifying offences.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. On Rover:

- 88% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 98% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
