About: We are a family of four: Kristen, Jeff, Vaeda (born May 2025) and Maggi (mini schnauzer rescue). We have a welcoming and fun home & go on hikes often. Maggi is a big scaredy-cat when it comes to humans, but loves to meet new fur friends and can’t wait to meet yours! Your pup will have a friend in her for sure! We are happy to accommodate your pups needs and are excited to get to know their quirks! Our Daughter, Vaeda is also excited to meet your pup, though she’s much to small to play just yet! We keep her and pups at a safe distance always. I (Kristen) work from home most days (1-2 days in office), so your fur baby won’t be left alone for long most days. We are usually home on weekends and tend to go hiking when possible in the area. If your pup loves to walk, we love to bring them along! We usually feed our pup in the mornings and give treats in the evenings when training (Maggi is a work in progress, we love training her new commands)! My husband (Jeff) takes the dog on morning walks, while I (Kristen) take her out after work around 5/6pm. Walks are usually 30 mins to 1 hour in length around the neighbourhood or a nearby park. Whenever possible we are outside on our back deck and Maggi joins us when she’s interested in company. Maggi is a lovely pup and she plays well with other dogs!

About: We have had our furry cat friend for over 8 years now. So about 5 years ago we decided to add our furry dog friend to our family. We have watched family's dogs a few times over night here and there. We're looking forward to meeting new friends! We have a cat who is a little older, so your furry friend must be able to get along with cats. We also have our wonderful, furry dog friend who is about 8 years old now. He can be shy to meet other friends as first but he is very friendly and excited to meet new friends! My husband and I currently work full-time. So we wouldn't be able to host dog or cat friends during the week unless it's summer or holidays when I am off of work. Most weekends are open for us, after 4 pm fridays. We have a very large backyard which is fenced in. We also have an 8 year old daughter who is very helpful when taking care of our pets. She is also very playful with our furry friends as well. I love animals and the joy they bring, so as soon as I got my license I started a successful pet sitting business back home. About: I retired in 2020 and returned to college to receive my Registered Veterinary Technician diploma in 2023. I have been a foster parent to hundreds of animals over my lifetime, specializing in animals who require medication and specialized medical care. I am retired and available to watch your pet at any time. Last minute and longer term care remains an option. I do travel on occasion but this would be communicated with plenty of notice. I have just moved to the Fergus area and reside in a park-setting which has a fenced leash free area on site. There is a lake should your pup like the water! I can accommodate crate trained animals however my general thinking is that your pet would be like my own were, snuggling on the bed or couch. I realize how important consistency and routine is to your pets wellbeing and would ensure that your routines are followed should I be staying at your home.

About: Hello, I have had a variety of pets since my young life (dogs, cats, hamsters, lizards, toads, guinea pigs, rabbit and fish. Surrounding myself and care for living creatures has been a lifelong passion for me and now I have retired from teaching, I have much more time to enjoy this passion.
