“This is officially the first time I have my dog taken care of a by strangers from the internet. I booked on the first day of my trip to Toronto (last minute), regardless Rohit was very flexible and accommodating. The website really has precise information/description about the siters’s service and prices. My dog is 85lbs black Labrador/Germand shepherd, super stable except for separation anxiety. On our first meeting he was very supportive and asked very important questions about my Jack’s eating habits, behaviour with others animal/human, sleeping habit and activity requirements. After a small visite in the backward ,I knew that I found a very good location for my companion; shaded area full of plans, trees and a nice deck. During Jack’s stay, Rohit sent me updates and pictures that greatly reduced my anxiety and made me feel secure about his wellbeing. Rohit gave me great debrief on Jack’s stay and behaviours when I picked him up plus i got to meet Rohit’s sister (Ritu) how was very knowledgeable on animal care. “We had our fur baby Kirby that just turned 2, scheuduled to stay with Shelly for 1 week while we were away on Vacation beginning of July. Due to Westjet strike, our flights were cancelled last minute, the day before we were going to drop her off and fly out. We contacted Shelly and she was so understanding of the stress we were under and to help with the financial stress of re-booking expensive last minute flights, Shelly kindly and swiftly helped adjust and reduce the days of the stay as we couldn't fly out till 2 day after the original date. Thank you 🙏 This helped us greatly and we're greatful for her flexibility and understanding of last minute changes. This was Kirby our pups first time with a sitter and she was providing daily updates and was always prompt to respond if we checked in just cause we missed her. From the photos and video updates as the days went on, we can really see that Kirby started to really bond and become attach to Shelly which was comforting to know she was in good hands and being well taken care of. About: Hello, I have had a variety of pets since my young life (dogs, cats, hamsters, lizards, toads, guinea pigs, rabbit and fish. Surrounding myself and care for living creatures has been a lifelong passion for me and now I have retired from teaching, I have much more time to enjoy this passion. I have volunteer with rescue farms as well as signing up to volunteer with SPCA in Orangeville. My last pet Maxx passed away at the age of 16 in March. It has been hard not having a pet in my home but taking on this job and various volunteer jobs helps to fill that void.Like my experience in teaching for many years, I have always view my class of students like my own kids, as well when caring for others pets family members I will treat with compassion, patience and kindness as if they were my pets. About: We are a family of four: Kristen, Jeff, Vaeda (born May 2025) and Maggi (mini schnauzer rescue). We have a welcoming and fun home & go on hikes often. Maggi is a big scaredy-cat when it comes to humans, but loves to meet new fur friends and can’t wait to meet yours! Your pup will have a friend in her for sure! We are happy to accommodate your pups needs and are excited to get to know their quirks! Our Daughter, Vaeda is also excited to meet your pup, though she’s much to small to play just yet! We keep her and pups at a safe distance always. I (Kristen) work from home most days (1-2 days in office), so your fur baby won’t be left alone for long most days. We are usually home on weekends and tend to go hiking when possible in the area. If your pup loves to walk, we love to bring them along! We usually feed our pup in the mornings and give treats in the evenings when training (Maggi is a work in progress, we love training her new commands)! My husband (Jeff) takes the dog on morning walks, while I (Kristen) take her out after work around 5/6pm. Walks are usually 30 mins to 1 hour in length around the neighbourhood or a nearby park. Whenever possible we are outside on our back deck and Maggi joins us when she’s interested in company. Maggi is a lovely pup and she plays well with other dogs!

About: I have pet sat for people in my neighborhood and a few friends for quite a few years now! From young puppies to more senior dogs I’ve done it all! I can check in on your dogs during the day to show them some extra love, or take them out for walks when they need it! My schedule is currently wide open so I am very flexible to check in on your pets any time of the day, for a walk or to give them some extra love! When in a clients house I make sure I am very respectful and careful of their things. Only taking treats, leashes, food and things that would be left out for me! I am currently flexible in my availability as I transition from student life to the working world, but I will update my available schedule when I have it. Feel free to message me if you have any questions, specifications, or dates in mind! I always put myself in my clients shoes when it comes to pet sitting. Trusting a stranger with your pets is HUGE and for some it may be their first time leaving their pets behind. With all of my past sittings, I do "daily updates" through text which includes photos of their pet and what we got up to together. I strongly encourage pet parents to reach out if they are concerned or missing their pet, I'd be happy to send video updates as needed.
About: I am a long-time dog lover with two of my own. I want to provide the best possible life for our furry friends, giving them the most quality of life possible. I have experience with puppies and older dogs, having trained both of my own from 8 weeks old. I have also taken pet first aid training and take safety very seriously. I am currently completing my Master's degree online, allowing me to have a more flexible and open schedule. I am available weekdays and will have some weekend availability occasionally. I am comfortable with crate and pen training, and can keep up with your house training schedule if needed. I am comfortable walking on leash around your neighbourhood and coming inside to keep your pup some company. I am also able to incorporate light training l, if desired, and provide food, if needed.
About: Ive had a love for animals since I was a small child. I have taken care of animals since I was around 5 and have a strong sense of understanding towards their needs and wants. I have a dog myself who is a whole lot of crazy, but we have highly trained her and make sure she is the happiest dog. I promise to make your fur baby feel the most loved and leave with a new best friend! Im currently working two part time jobs and hours are very different every week. Since my schedule is so flexible I should be able to fit in a time for your furry friend whenever is best for you I am very comfortable around any size dog and can provide a stronger service if needed (more crate time, any needed training, potty training, etc). I can bring an assortment of toys or treats if wanted. If you have very specific needs and wants for your pets I am more than happy to provide!!
