About: We are a family of four: Kristen, Jeff, Vaeda (born May 2025) and Maggi (mini schnauzer rescue). We have a welcoming and fun home & go on hikes often. Maggi is a big scaredy-cat when it comes to humans, but loves to meet new fur friends and can’t wait to meet yours! Your pup will have a friend in her for sure! We are happy to accommodate your pups needs and are excited to get to know their quirks! Our Daughter, Vaeda is also excited to meet your pup, though she’s much to small to play just yet! We keep her and pups at a safe distance always. I (Kristen) work from home most days (1-2 days in office), so your fur baby won’t be left alone for long most days. We are usually home on weekends and tend to go hiking when possible in the area. If your pup loves to walk, we love to bring them along! We usually feed our pup in the mornings and give treats in the evenings when training (Maggi is a work in progress, we love training her new commands)! My husband (Jeff) takes the dog on morning walks, while I (Kristen) take her out after work around 5/6pm. Walks are usually 30 mins to 1 hour in length around the neighbourhood or a nearby park. Whenever possible we are outside on our back deck and Maggi joins us when she’s interested in company. Maggi is a lovely pup and she plays well with other dogs!

About: I've always had a soft spot for all creatures under the sun, and being able to care for a pet, be it mine or someone else's always brings me great joy. I owned a cat for over 17 years (and a hamster and 2 rats in college), I currently have one cat at home and have done drop in visits most of my life to help care for all sorts of pets, from fish, lizards, rabbits, cats, and dogs. I have experience as a live in pet sitter, and while I can't bring pets to my house due to my own little territorial fluff ball, I'm just as happy to care for your pets as though they are my own. As an actor, work isn't always easy to come by, and with my flexible availability and empathetic heart, I think I would make a great companion for your pets when you can't physically be with them. I work in the entertainment industry which can be feast or famine, so I am looking for supplemental income for the foreseeable future! Lots of availability right now :) The care I provide is always based on the needs of the pets! Whether it is my utmost attention or just a nearby presence during naps, making your pet happy and comfortable is always my priority!

About: We have had our furry cat friend for over 8 years now. So about 5 years ago we decided to add our furry dog friend to our family. We have watched family's dogs a few times over night here and there. We're looking forward to meeting new friends! We have a cat who is a little older, so your furry friend must be able to get along with cats. We also have our wonderful, furry dog friend who is about 8 years old now. He can be shy to meet other friends as first but he is very friendly and excited to meet new friends! My husband and I currently work full-time. So we wouldn't be able to host dog or cat friends during the week unless it's summer or holidays when I am off of work. Most weekends are open for us, after 4 pm fridays. We have a very large backyard which is fenced in. We also have an 8 year old daughter who is very helpful when taking care of our pets. She is also very playful with our furry friends as well. Your furry friends must be able to get along with our cat and our dog. Our dog Juno some times has some times when he can be quiet anxious so we are pretty familiar with anxious pets.

About: I’ve had dogs for over 20 years, ensuring proper care, training, and lots of love. I live on a 1 acre property backing onto a farm with lots of trails and space for pups to run. I am very active and love to keep active with a dog companion. After losing our family dog two years ago I have realized that there has been something missing from my life and I would love to share my love with your pets. I have two children 6 and 9 to help me play and love your pets as well. There will be no shortage of space, love, and care when your pets are with me. I work from home many days and am able to assist in a variety of ways including boarding, daycare and home visits. I hope that I can meet your pet soon! I am currently working a flexible schedule which changes day to day. I work from home most days or I am in the community. I am very flexible. I have a partially fenced backyard on 1 acre of land. I back onto many trails and places for perfect walks. I am experienced with crate trained pets and will ensure safety while walking on leash. I also have experience with raw feeding. I have done training for dogs including recalls and behaviours.

About: Ive had a love for animals since I was a small child. I have taken care of animals since I was around 5 and have a strong sense of understanding towards their needs and wants. I have a dog myself who is a whole lot of crazy, but we have highly trained her and make sure she is the happiest dog. Since my schedule is so flexible I should be able to fit in a time for your furry friend whenever is best for you I am very comfortable around any size dog and can provide a stronger service if needed (more crate time, any needed training, potty training, etc). I can bring an assortment of toys or treats if wanted. If you have very specific needs and wants for your pets I am more than happy to provide!!

About: I have had cats since I was 2 years old. I have 2 dachshunds that are the center of my world. Various pets growing up: bunny, hamsters and fish. I walked dogs in my neighborhood as a child and teen. I am a teacher and I love all animals. I teach at a school in Shelburne. Most days I have two 40 minute lunch breaks where I could walk/take care of pets I have one day off every week (mostly Fridays some Mondays) and I am off all summer . I am also available after school and into the evening. I am available most weekends. I have a fenced in yard. I always ensure your pet feels safe and comfortable. I adapt to your pets needs (shorter/longer walks depending on heat/cold/age/endurance etc.). I love to run and be active and walk around Island Lake.

About: Growing up we constantly had many different pets. May it be cats, dogs, birds or even fish. I love animals and the joy they bring, so as soon as I got my license I started a successful pet sitting business back home. Now that I have moved to Port Hope, I am looking to start back providing care and assistance to my fellow neighbors and their beloved animals. I am extremely patient and kind. I do currently work 8.30 to 4.30 Monday to Friday but my work is on a hybrid model and I live close to work. I currently rent and have 2 cats, so taking care of your pet in my home is possible but restricted. While taking care of pets in their home. I will abide by all house rules. I will visit your home and provide a minimum of 3 walks a day for drop ins, if I am housesitting then more care will be provided. I will also brush your pets and if you wish more grooming services, this can always be discussed.
