About: Hello, I have had a variety of pets since my young life (dogs, cats, hamsters, lizards, toads, guinea pigs, rabbit and fish. Surrounding myself and care for living creatures has been a lifelong passion for me and now I have retired from teaching, I have much more time to enjoy this passion. I have volunteer with rescue farms as well as signing up to volunteer with SPCA in Orangeville. My last pet Maxx passed away at the age of 16 in March. It has been hard not having a pet in my home but taking on this job and various volunteer jobs helps to fill that void.Like my experience in teaching for many years, I have always view my class of students like my own kids, as well when caring for others pets family members I will treat with compassion, patience and kindness as if they were my pets. About: I've always had a soft spot for all creatures under the sun, and being able to care for a pet, be it mine or someone else's always brings me great joy. I owned a cat for over 17 years (and a hamster and 2 rats in college), I currently have one cat at home and have done drop in visits most of my life to help care for all sorts of pets, from fish, lizards, rabbits, cats, and dogs. I have experience as a live in pet sitter, and while I can't bring pets to my house due to my own little territorial fluff ball, I'm just as happy to care for your pets as though they are my own. As an actor, work isn't always easy to come by, and with my flexible availability and empathetic heart, I think I would make a great companion for your pets when you can't physically be with them. I work in the entertainment industry which can be feast or famine, so I am looking for supplemental income for the foreseeable future! About: We have had our furry cat friend for over 8 years now. So about 5 years ago we decided to add our furry dog friend to our family. We have watched family's dogs a few times over night here and there. We're looking forward to meeting new friends! We have a cat who is a little older, so your furry friend must be able to get along with cats. We also have our wonderful, furry dog friend who is about 8 years old now. He can be shy to meet other friends as first but he is very friendly and excited to meet new friends! My husband and I currently work full-time. So we wouldn't be able to host dog or cat friends during the week unless it's summer or holidays when I am off of work. Most weekends are open for us, after 4 pm fridays. We have a very large backyard which is fenced in. We also have an 8 year old daughter who is very helpful when taking care of our pets. She is also very playful with our furry friends as well. Your furry friends must be able to get along with our cat and our dog. Our dog Juno some times has some times when he can be quiet anxious so we are pretty familiar with anxious pets.

About: We are a family of four: Kristen, Jeff, Vaeda (born May 2025) and Maggi (mini schnauzer rescue). We have a welcoming and fun home & go on hikes often. Maggi is a big scaredy-cat when it comes to humans, but loves to meet new fur friends and can’t wait to meet yours! Your pup will have a friend in her for sure! We are happy to accommodate your pups needs and are excited to get to know their quirks! Our Daughter, Vaeda is also excited to meet your pup, though she’s much to small to play just yet! We keep her and pups at a safe distance always. I (Kristen) work from home most days (1-2 days in office), so your fur baby won’t be left alone for long most days. We are usually home on weekends and tend to go hiking when possible in the area. If your pup loves to walk, we love to bring them along! We usually feed our pup in the mornings and give treats in the evenings when training (Maggi is a work in progress, we love training her new commands)! My husband (Jeff) takes the dog on morning walks, while I (Kristen) take her out after work around 5/6pm. Walks are usually 30 mins to 1 hour in length around the neighbourhood or a nearby park. Whenever possible we are outside on our back deck and Maggi joins us when she’s interested in company. Maggi is a lovely pup and she plays well with other dogs!

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was a young kid, not only have I owned dogs all my life (border collie, and German shepherd) and have done dog sitting for friends and neighbours as well and understand care and grooming for all different kinds of dogs. I am also confident and more than capable of giving any and all medication. Currently working self employed and there are two of us so double the care for the price of one! Since we are self employed and decently in charge of our schedule it allows us to schedule around what works best for you and your furry friends. Take them on regular walks make sure they have appropriate amounts of food and water, make sure they get any and all medication on time. Make sure they there is nothing potentially harmful to the animal in the home or surroundings We also have a large property for them to explore for at home and am more then willing to stick to any and all guidelines you have for your cute furry friend.

In her spare time she has worked at an Animal Rehab Clinic where physical treatment, hydrotherapy and laser therapy was performed on pets. All dogs are given separate food & water bowls. Bedding can be provided. I have additional freezer space for pets requiring a Raw diet. Treats provided during in home boarding are hypoallergenic. I have experience identifying food allergies, and I am First Aid and CPR certified. There are chew safe toys in the home. I have experience handling dogs with Resource Guarding, food guarding and toy guarding issues. I provide daily photo updates for long-term stays.

About: Growing up we constantly had many different pets. May it be cats, dogs, birds or even fish. I love animals and the joy they bring, so as soon as I got my license I started a successful pet sitting business back home. Now that I have moved to Port Hope, I am looking to start back providing care and assistance to my fellow neighbors and their beloved animals. I am extremely patient and kind. I love all animals and if I am not familiar with a particular care process, I am happy to learn. I look forward to being able to provide my services to anyone who needs it. I do currently work 8.30 to 4.30 Monday to Friday but my work is on a hybrid model and I live close to work. I am willing to come and help before work, after work and even on my lunch breaks if needed. My weekends are very open and flexible as well. I currently rent and have 2 cats, so taking care of your pet in my home is possible but restricted. While taking care of pets in their home. I will abide by all house rules. I will visit your home and provide a minimum of 3 walks a day for drop ins, if I am housesitting then more care will be provided. I will also brush your pets and if you wish more grooming services, this can always be discussed.
