About: I have always loved animals ever since I can remember! Growing up, there were always animals in the house! I knew that I wanted to pursue a career where I could work with and help animals every day, which is why I decided to enroll in the veterinary assistant program right after I graduated high school. I worked as a veterinary assistant in a veterinary hospital for about a year and a half until I decided to further my education and responsibilities in the veterinary industry and become a Registered Veterinary Technician. In 2020, I was accepted to both Douglas College and Thompson Rivers University's "Veterinary Technology" program. I ultimately decided to attend Douglas College so I could stay in the city. I graduated from the "Veterinary Technology" program in 2022 and passed my national board exam shortly after. I am currently a Registered Veterinary Technician working full-time at a veterinary hospital in Vancouver, and I love it! I have been in the veterinary industry since 2019 and would not change it for the world. As a Registered Veterinary Technician, I have vast knowledge of medical care and procedures, puppy and senior care, animal handling, and more. I also have a sweet senior pup named Skylar, who I have had the pleasure of having in my life for almost 14 years now! I am currently working full-time at a veterinary hospital in Vancouver but am typically off on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Sundays. I would love to make your pet's life part of my weekly routine! Safety is my number 1 priority. I will always proceed at your pets pace and would never do something your pet isn't comfortable with. I work in a certified fear free veterinary hospital where creating a stress-free environment is incredibly important to me.

She sends a detailed description of her visit along with photos/videos after each visit, and it was so reassuring to know how my kitties were doing while I was away. She even taught my kitten how to "sit" - I had no idea he could do that, so now that's a fun skill we are working on! She gave both kitties lots of attention and got to know their personalities. She also went above and beyond - offering to water the plants and asking where the broom/vacuum were to clean up some stray litter the cats had tracked near the litter box. I highly recommend Nicole as she is a conscientious and caring pet sitting and I will definitely be booking her again!”

About: Hello! I'm a dog mom to Nala, a 6-year-old rescued Formosan Mountain Dog mix from Taiwan and Jujube, a 3-year-old Jindo mix from South Korea. Caring for my first dog, Nala, has taught me a lot about patience, love, and consistent positive reinforcement training—thanks to her nervous nature from being an ex-street pup. As a work-from-home dog mom with a flexible schedule, Nala, Jujube, and I (and my partner!) would be the perfect companions to other pups (regardless of age). Nala and Jujube love other dogs and are great at reading doggy language. *Although Nala and Jujube are gentle and generally great with other dogs, I never take in a dog without a meet-and-greet to ensure doggos and hoomans are a good fit.* As a full-time work-from-home dog mom, I have a flexible schedule and will take your doggo out for regular walks and potty breaks. My 2 dogs are my trusty companions who’re always down for a good snuggle or a romp in the park. I live in a secure condo building with lots of nearby parks and forest trails. My place has lots of room for lounging and playing too!
