About: I've been caring for all sorts of animals since childhood. My home was known as the safe place for animals in need of help. Tons of experience with caring for both young and elderly pets. I will always respect your pet's boundaries and do my best to make sure they are well cared for and minimize any stress from them being away from their favourite human(s). I also have experience with and will accept fish, mice, rats, rabbits and hamsters. I am mostly home. I have all the time in the world to focus on pet care and ensure their needs are met, and they are safe and have a wonderful time! I have 2 cats, one is a 16 year old lady who loves everyone, including other animals, but mostly spends her days looking out the window and sun bathing. I also have a 6 year old rescued girl who loves to play. She's shy and needs a lot of patience, but once she gets to know you, she turns into drooling velcro. If boarding in my home and your pet isn't good with other cats, my apartment is spacious enough to keep them separated, but not alone. I will follow your requests for walks, park time, feeding habits, etc. If you are wanting me to check on a cat in your home while you are away, I will be sure to spend time with them and if you would like, I could stick around much longer with book or whatever just to be a human presence for your little one. Sometimes some cats just feel better with a human around even if not engaged. All cats and dogs are unique so whatever is best for them as I have nothing else to do so best to use my time to make theirs less stressful and more at peace.

My family was in Hamilton for a long day of wedding festivities, and had traveled from out of town. Aliza took fantastic care of Remy, our 4 year old standard poodle, for over 12 hours. She sent a few pics documenting the fun he was having, and communicated just the right amount during the day, so we felt confident that Remy was in good hands. Remy enjoyed being outside and socializing with the other pups at Aliza's house, and when we picked him up, he was excited to see us, but it was clear that he also felt safe and well cared for at Aliza's home. Ashley was absolutely amazing! From the moment we inquired about booking she was fast at responding, had lots of flexibility when I had to reschedule & took Meisha on last minute! During her daycare stay I was updated throughout the day, when she ate breakfast, potty breaks, snuggle time & walks - Ashley and her son took her for an hour walk which was an amazing surprise! I ended up being way later than I thought because of the weather & traffic & she reassured me not to worry & to take my time.
