Mary came for a meet and greet at our place a few weeks before she would be staying and right away we felt comfortable with trusting her. Although our Dog Bear is always a bit weary towards new people, we felt confident he was in good hands. We also have a pet Rabbit and Mary helped out with him as well which was greatly appreciated. Mary sent photos and was very easy to communicate with anytime we needed. Turned out Mary had left with our doggie bags and messaged us the following day and brought them back to us. About: I've grown up with dogs my whole life and finally my husband and I got our own Border Collie puppy four years ago. We are currently on a working holiday in Canada and were unable to bring out dog with us. We miss him so much and love spending time with other animals to try and fill that void. We work part-time so are home a lot of the day and would love to spend time with your furry friends. My husband and I are living in Canmore on a working holiday from Australia. We are working part-time so have lots of free time to look after your pets. We are flexible with times and days that we are available and can make most arrangements work. Happy to chat about options! I am happy to stay at clients homes with their animals and will follow direction from the owners as to how they wish their pets to be looked after. “Kris was very easy to coordinate with and came for a meet and greet prior to the house and dog sitting. She left the house spotless and Canoe seemed in good spirits. I only leave the 4 star rating because communication was good up until we left on Friday. I hadn’t heard any updates by Saturday morning to ensure Kris had arrived into our home ok. I send a message at 9am asking how things were going and received no reply, I again sent a message asking how things were at noon and finally got a reply at nearly 10pm on Saturday. I would have appreciated a bit more communication since this was Kris’ first time caring for our pup. The communication from that point forward was good. Next time we go with Kris we’ll be sure to ask her to send us a quick update when she’s arrived to make sure we’re all on the same page. Will happily ask Kris to house and dog sit again for us.”

About: I grew up with my dog, Kiku, from when I was born until I was twelve. I have experience dogsitting on long-term stays (ie., last year I took care of a dog for a month at the owners’ home), and I also have experience administering different forms of oral medication on a schedule to dogs. I have experience with cats too! I helped take care of my former roommates' cat who I lived with for almost two years, and have done catsitting and cat drop-in visits as well. I am very active and would love to help walk and take care of dogs. I would be able to walk your dog at least twice a day if I am dogsitting/boarding. About: Animal connection and companionship is unlike any other. I could only wish to have more pets in my life but unfortunately travel is still too financially difficult at this time. My longest care of six years is to my cat Luna and previous to Luna I cared for and rode Horses on a small horseback farm for two summers and previous to that I had my small budgie and hamster friends. Throughout my own personal pet care I have also dog sat on a couple occasions. Growing up I felt like I have had a certain affinity to animals and cannot imagine living without some connection to them, this is a way for me to provide my care and fufill your pet's needs as much as they would fufill mine.
