House Sitting in Burlington

About: I have had dogs since I was 3 years old. Currently do not have a dog of my own but still dog sit for my mom when she goes out of town or comes visits me. Have plenty of experience with dogs of all sizes and puppies. Young professional in seasonal type job. My work is currently in the slow season so have plenty of time for dogs/puppies. I also have all my weekends available to puppy sit. I live in an apartment but there are plenty of walking trails and parks nearby. I also have plenty of time off and no weekend commitments so I can stay at your home so the pups are more comfortable.

About: I volunteered many hours at an animal shelter for six months. During my time there, I took all-around care of the cats. I’ve had dogs (of many different personalities and sizes) my entire life, so dogs are part of my daily routine. I often watch my friends dogs and it’s always a pleasure :) Im not currently working so i can take close care of your pet during the time i watch them. I will always be there when food/ walks are needed I will watch over your pet for as long as needed, giving them attention, affection, and food/water and walks when necessary. Also taking care of special needs if they have them.

About: I have been taking care of my own dog and my friends dog for more than 4 years, I love walking around with pups and also taking dogs to hike and swim. I am now taking a break from my current IT job and have plenty of time every day to play with your 4 legs baby. I have a fenced yard and a very friendly and playful border collie dog her name is Bella to keep your dog’s company and to play with.

About: I have had a variety of dog breeds my whole life. Mostly rescues across all ages. I have puppy experience as well as senior dog experience. Additionally I have done elder and developmental disability care for people. I believe in honesty, empathy, and compassion for those under my care. I am pursuing a Masters in Social Work and have an internship part time 3x per week (both remote work) , so I would like to fill the rest of my time to support myself financially ❤️ *no school/ internship until August 2026* I am very attentive and keep a close eye on pets at all times. I try and service my clients by appealing to their needs and sensibilities and not my own. Having worked as a caregiver for people with dementia and adults with developmental disabilities has prepared me to be alert and aware at all times.

About: i was born and raised around animals big & small. i loved taking my dogs on walks growing up and now i only have space for cats, and i miss dog affection. i need to be outside more this summer and figured it would be fun to walk other peoples dogs! i pet sit family and friends pets often so i know how to care care of/ clean up after animals. come to me for all your walking/potty break/ overnight babysitting needs :) i work a typical 8-5 job. Outside of those hours I'm always free for a walk/potty break! My weekends are also open for the same needs, and we can discuss overnight stays with your pets if its of interest! I treat pets as family and i talk to them with the most kindness and respect. I can follow tight schedule if supplying medication/when feeding.

About: Since I’ve been working from home, I’ve become pretty sedentary. I was contemplating getting a gym membership, when I realized that I could walk cute fluffy dogs instead! So, here I am! I had a little white fluffy Maltese for fourteen years named Henry. I lost him due to complications with old age a couple of years ago, and have been too heartbroken to get another dog since. I have a TON of experience with little dogs because of him. I also regularly walk and babysit my friend's and family's pets, so I have many years of experience with different sizes and breeds of dogs. I'm currently WFH with a flexible schedule, so I can adapt my daily or weekly routine to dog-walking or housesitting with ease. I would LOVE to get my steps in, or cuddle with a floof, or housesit somewhere I don't reside and take advantage of trying different restaurants. I don't currently have any pets, so this is my way of getting to pet cute fluffy animals and get paid to do it! Pretty sweet bargain. I have a deep love for dogs and cats and a respect for their preferences, personalities, and autonomy. Care for pets is different, depending on the animal and the pet parents. My sister has three cats. One of them wants nothing to do with humans, and one needs constant attention and pets and cuddles. So, one gets left alone when I babysit and one gets lots of cuddles. One former client of mine had an old dog that liked to be left alone, but didn't want to be alone in the house. So I stayed around the house and didn't bother them much. A different former client had a puppy who wanted to go explore and go for long walks and sniff everything in sight. So that's what we did. It's different for every pet, every family, every household. I'm flexible, and enthusiastic, and hold the belief that while pets are only a small part of our world, to them, we are their whole world. They deserve to have their needs met, and to feel good about the interloper invading their space. I treat every animal with the respect they deserve. I also treat every household with the respect the home deserves. I always leave homes as I found them, or better. I would expect anyone entering my home to hold a degree of respect for my space, and I always offer that same respect in return.
