Dog Walking Burlington

About: I was a Certified Veterinary Technician For 15+ years but also live on a few acreages on beautiful property on Sauvie Island. We have a Small Pug and a few cats use to dogs but also can be separated if necessary. We have a large country home and acreage for dogs to run or be walked. It is common for the dogs to be inside and outside throughout the day while we do daily activities. My husband works from home too. Moose our pug loves to play with other dogs! My husband works from home and I do some periodically throughout the year. We commonly take morning and evening walks in the local area with dogs on the leash to exercise them and ourselves. Location is about 4 min drive onto Sauvie Island from the bridge. We have a fenced yard but also have fenced in dog runs if need some time alone. Dogs stay in at night time and sleep upstairs or downstairs depending on the dog and comfort with other animals.

About: I've been regularly pet sitting for nearly 15 years. As a kid I started letting my neighbors pets out, then moved on to dog walking, then began doing over-night care. I've also lived with dogs and cats since the day I was born! I have experience with both puppies and kittens along with elderly pets, pets who require medications and special attention, and pets with behavioral issues. I am calm, loving, and find caring for animals very rewarding. I currently work part-time from home, so I have lots of free time to spend focus on caring for pets. I have a flexible schedule, and already plan my day around being able to care for my dog. I live in a single-story home with a fully fenced in back yard. I always make sure that cleaning materials and food are kept fully out of reach, and keep my house clean and tidy!

About: I have had dogs most of my life. Currently, we have 2 dogs in our home; a doodle and a Yorkie- they love company and I often dog sit for friends when they go out of town. I work from home and love to go for walks, so will take the doggies with me if they enjoy walks. We live near lots of trails and have a big backyard that is fenced in where they can play. I work from home so am in the house most of the day. someday I run out for 1-2 hours at a time but otherwise am here and can let the dogs out as often as needed. I normally take the dogs for a walk each day, sometimes 2x a day. We have .40 acres of land which is completely fenced in so the dogs can run and play freely. The dogs are welcome to make themselves at home with us if they are fully trained. We also have a large kitchen which can be blocked off if your pet tends to have accidents or needs to be kept away for some private or quiet time. We have lots of dog toys and enjoy playing. We have space for a crate if your dog sleeps in one- it can be put next to our existing dog's crate.

About: My partner (Chip) and I have completed over 5 pet-sits on the platform, Trusted Housesitters. We both grew up with dogs and live a very active lifestyle, so rest assured your dog (or cat) will get plenty of attention and exercise! My partner and I both work from home, so we have plenty of time and bandwidth to care for your pets! We can take for walks, potty breaks throughout the day, and give them plenty of attention while we are working on our laptops. We only have an apartment, so no fenced yard but have easy access to Cathedral Park, Pier Park, and Peninsula Park. We're also right across from Forest Park, so if your pet likes to hike, we can take them on a forest adventure!

About: I've had dogs and loved animals my whole life, from small dogs to big active mutts. My current dog is a Lab/Border Collie who required ample training and needs lots of action to stay happy. I'm a freelance artist so my schedule is flexible, and i'd go for long walks everyday even if I didn't have my active dog. I've always enjoyed spending time with animals even if it's just sitting in the same room or active play. If your pup needs to be worn out, im happy to do it. If they just need someone to be near, I'm happy to do it. I am a freelance artist so I make my own schedule and I'm pretty flexible. I always have time for a midday session when most people are at work I have a fully fenced yard and lots of room to sniff and play ball, but I tend to go for long walks and to the park to play.

About: I've worked in several clinics as a vet assistant and I enjoy working with all companion animals (my first pets were rats!). I have kept dogs, birds and various lizards as pets, starting from an early age. My first job was at Petco (Where the Pets Go!) and I completed a year of veterinary school. I have provided housesitting for owners going away on trips, as well as drop-in visits for regular clients. These jobs were primarily for cats and dogs, usually with specific medical needs, but I have cared for exotics as well. I feel comfortable administering medications, providing basic grooming services, and enjoy helping find new solutions for pet boredom. I have a full-time employment Monday-Friday, 9am-5:30pm and I am looking to add pet care around that commitment. I’d like to slowly expand my client base, finding good matches between myself and the pets I care for. If services are to be provided in your home, I would like to meet to discuss expectations and standards beforehand. I am happy to discuss any special requests! About: I have had dogs as long as I can remember and I am currently a volunteer at the Oregon Dog Rescue. I care deeply for pets and feel strongly about all animals being cared for with love. I am comfortable with walking, bathing, feeding, cleaning up after, and administering medication. I work Sun-Wed but the rest of my week is pretty flexible! I am also an early riser since I have a pup of my own. I am happy to be as hands on or hand offs as your dog needs, just let me know what is best for you and your fur baby!

About: Hello! My name is Madelyn and I’ve been fostering animals with the humane society for the last 5 years. I have experience working with ringworm kittens, senior animals, administering medicine, stray cats/dogs, and post-surgery care. Fostering and boarding/pet-sitting has been really rewarding for me because I can spend time with animals and support their owners, but I can’t commit to my own pet at this time. I’ve also grown up with labradors and bulldogs so they have a special place in my heart. I work full time at home as an emergency preparedness and response coordinator, so I am home during the week each day.
