“I got on Rover purely to give Shell this review. Haha. Imagine the value in a scenario where you call up your mom and say you have to work late, and ask if she’d drive across town to pick your kid up from school and take care of them for a few hours until you’re free. She doesn’t think twice and your mind is completely at ease knowing your kiddo is in good hands. I don’t know what it’s like to have kids, but Shell has been more than a dog-sitter. She has been that third, auxiliary parent to my puppy when I’ve needed her! Even to the extent that she drove across town on a Thursday morning on zero notice to pick him up as I scrambled through an offsite work meeting. Also… Our pup was only 7 months old and we left him for a week with Shell, cold turkey. He had never stayed with anyone before; risky, I know. She sent pictures and videos every day of his playtime with friends, yummy meal toppers, and when we picked him up, he was as happy as a clam. It has been an immense relief knowing that, whenever we need a break, we can drop Winchester off and he is in great hands. We love our fluffy furball, but being able to drop him off and completely forget about him for a while is pure bliss sometimes. ? I don’t really know what else to say other than that I have complete and unwavering faith in Shell’s ability and good intention when it comes to caring for my little guy. I highly recommend bringing your pup to her… but hurry, she fills up fast!!”

About: My husband and I have had many years of experience with dogs. We have a rescue that we adopted a year and half ago. While we can't afford a second dog right now we would love to have more in our home! My husband and I both work from home. I do go into the office on Tuesdays and Thursdays, but he is always here. We are available 7 days a week currently. Beyond that we’re both homebodies who love to take our dog on long walks around the neighborhood. I have a fenced in yard with locked gates and one 20 lb female rescue pup to keep your dog company. We allow dogs on the furniture/bed, but we can also crate your dog if preferred. When caring for your pets in your home, I treat your space with the same respect and care I would want for my own. I have experience staying in other people’s homes for extended periods, including multiple weeks and over a month, while providing consistent and loving care for their pets. I come prepared with my own pillow, blanket, and meals so I can be fully self-sufficient while respecting your home. Before an extended stay, I would love to meet you and your pets at least twice to build trust, learn their routine, and understand their unique needs. I’m experienced with administering oral medications and caring for pets with additional needs. My goal is to keep your pets comfortable and stress-free by following their normal routine, providing regular updates, and giving them the same love and attention I give my own.
About: I grew up pet-sitting for neighbors, friends, and family, and caring for animals has always been something I genuinely enjoy and holds a special place in my heart. Over the years, I've looked after dogs of all ages, sizes, and personalities, from puppies to older dogs that need extra patience and attention. I currently don't have a job for this summer; therefore, I have all the free time in the world to care for pets. My flexible schedule allows me to be available when your pet needs me and to provide reliable and consistent care! I know how important it is for pets to feel comfortable, especially when their owners are away. I will keep their normal routine by making sure they are fed, have fresh water, get playtime, walks, and any other care they need. I will treat your home with respect, follow any instructions you leave, and make sure your pet feels safe, happy, and loved while you’re gone, as I would want the same for mine.
About: I have been around animals, both dogs and cats, for most of my life, so I know what goes into taking care of them (even the ones who need a little extra help). I am currently freelance and remote, so I am able to change my schedule around to suite the needs of both you and your pet. I am able to travel to your home either overnight or for drop-in care whenever needed. I will follow all set rules about whatever space I use to a T.
About: I have experience with pet sitting local neighborhood pets since I was in middle school. I have experience taking care of deaf, blind, and diabetic dogs, as well as experience giving medicine. I am available for pet sitting as on both weekends and weekdays this summer! As well, I am available for dog walks and dog care during the day. I will treat the pets as if they are my own, making sure they get all the belly scratches and walks that they need! I’d love to spend all day with them!
