“Lily is excellent! She watched my 2 small pups while on vacation for 8 days. She sent pics and updates everyday, stayed with them until we got home and gave them all the cuddles and walks needed. Lily came over to meet them and stopped back over for keys and instructions. Our chihuahua is scared and apprehensive of new people and she warmed up quickly to Lily. Lily went above and beyond even leaving Halloween candy out for the neighborhood kids. Freddie and Olive loved Lily and we were able to relax on our vacation knowing they were in great hands. Wwill absolutely book Lily again!”

About: I’m currently a fourth-year undergraduate student majoring in Environmental Studies and Political Science! I grew up taking care of family pets such as dogs, cats, horses, and goats, which was my initial introduction to the animal world. Beyond this, I spent many years volunteering at rescues to learn about caring for animals with particular behavioral and medical needs. I’ve gained invaluable experience through rehabilitating animals and have tried to advocate for animal welfare whenever possible in my daily life. Since starting my degree, I’ve house-sat and pet-sat on multiple occasions for periods up to a month in length. I’m comfortable caring for a wide range of animals and understand the importance of care done correctly. I’m happy to accommodate specific requests and prioritize pet well-being above all else! I'm a full-time student, so I will have several classes every day beginning in late August. However, this schedule could easily accommodate visits to the house throughout the day for potty breaks or other animal needs. I'm able to manage morning and night care, along with 1-2 visits throughout the day. I'm also available with greater flexibility on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday for drop-in visits, walking, and house-sitting. Depending on owner and pet needs, we can work out a schedule to suit everyone! In my client's home, I try to maximize time spent with the animals by sitting in communal spaces and interacting with them whenever possible. I'm a patient and flexible person, so the process of learning an animal's routine and behaviors is a fun challenge for me! I also complete necessary tasks like feeding, watering, walking, grooming, etc.

About: I've consistently taken care of dogs for 7 years, between my own and for other families in my neighborhood. For years I've been someone my neighbors can trust to take great care of and show plenty of love to their pets. I'd love to show your pets the same love and care! I'm currently a college student at Elon University in town, so when I'm not in class I have lots of time to take care of and give lots of love to pets nearby! About: I didn’t grow up with many animals, but I became an animal lover after raising my dog, Zeeke, who passed away on 11/28/2023 at 11 years old. He was my world and taught me the joy and companionship pets bring. Although I’m not ready for another dog yet, I miss the connection and would love to cuddle, play, walk, and enjoy time with someone else’s pet. I believe everyone benefits from a dose of animal love, and I’d be honored to share that with your fur baby! I accommodate both free-roaming and crating if requested for training, your personal preference, or cant be left unattended. Otherwise, I don’t use crates or confine pets. Meet-and-greets are typically required but can be decided on a case-by-case basis.

I am generally free during daytime hours and can roam about to take care of your fur babies. 😃 I will definitely give them all of my undivided attention, love and friendship. I’ll make sure they are given food, water, Scooby snacks and extra attention. From there we will walk, run, jump and play fetch until I tire them out.
