About: I’ve been taking care of animals since I was 10, as the neighborhood dog sitter! I worked as an animal specialist at PetSmart throughout college and have a great love for all animals. As a dog mom of 3 rescues I totally understand in importance in showing everyone love, especially those who struggle with separation anxiety. About: For over seven years, I’ve had the privilege of caring for my facility’s owners dogs (jojo the goldendoodle, Nash the frenchie, and Finn their pitbull). More recently I’ve been trusted to care for my administrators pup as well! (Her name is milli(berniedoodle) and she just turned 1 years old!🙂 I’ve taught them all how to sit, shake and do nose boops if you ask them too!☺️ There’s also many of other friends I’ve taken care of along the way! Hooch (Blue Pitbull) Bodi (Pitbull) Nixie (tri-colored cat) Nina (Bernise Mountain dog) Jade (Maltese) I currently am working full-time but my schedule is flexible! Usually during the week I have 2-3 days that are short days for me and I get home early around 2-3pm. My pets at home run the whole house!😄 Every morning we get up to eat our breakfast and go outside for playtime/potty. Water is available in all rooms of our apartment! We are super pet friendly household, they can get on the beds and couches and we even have a special accessible dog bed for senior babies and/or babies who have any injuries. We live right beside a park that has a 3-4 acre dog park with plenty of space to run and play! Car rides and pup cups are always welcome and my work is super dog friendly so they can also be with me if necessary if separation anxiety is a problem!😄

About: I've been working with dogs since childhood - my parents raised Pekingese & Dobermans. Even at 8 years old, I helped mama dogs birth their pups. My schoolmates thought it was gross, most adults thought it was weird, but I thought it was super cool to be a part of bringing life into the world through adorable little squeaking pups. Even though we were very ethical & loving with our pups, many backyard breeders are not, so I no longer agree with that. But as an adult, I fell in love with rescues & adopted a few over the years. Then I decided I wanted to be more involved with Rescues. So... I became a Foster Parent, assisted Black Dog Rescue, & was an integral part of Cooper's Companions Animal Rescue in Colorado before moving to NC. I usually ended up fostering unadoptable dogs & working with them extensively until they became adoptable. Then followed up with their new pet parents to help ensure success & making it stick. My specialty is working with fearful dogs, teaching pet owners how to get the behavior they want from their pet, stopping jumping on people, food possessiveness, leash training, & training dogs to walk on a treadmill. We have 2 little dogs who had a big 'sister' for many years, so all size dogs are welcome; Both of our pups are super dog-friendly. One of them loves to play with other dogs after she gets to know them, and the other will play sometimes, but can be a bit of a snob. We want all dogs to enjoy staying with us, but... we won't tolerate a 'truly' aggressive dog in our home. My dogs might initially bark at other dogs, but they don't attack other dogs, so should either of my dogs be attacked or if a human is bitten, the offender will be separated & crated inside, or placed in our separately fenced kennel area outside (if you prefer) for the remainder of their stay. Any issues will be discussed with the dog owner to establish their preference in this regard. Otherwise, we'll shower your fur baby with love & attention so you won't have to worry about them when you're away. Please note: ***We will only board dogs which are spayed or neutered.*** If they are not spayed/neutered, I will be happy to do drop in or house-sitting care, but we will not be able to host in our own home. --- I require a meetup with dogs & their owners before actually accepting a booking. If you are unable to do this, I'm unable to take care of your fur babies. --- I work from home, so my availability is fairly open unless we're on vacation or if in the event that I have to go on a business trip. _____________________________________________________________________________ *** Important Note*** Doggie Day Care is for "up to 9 hours" each stay. If you need care for more than 9 hours, please schedule it as a boarding. Just let me know it's for an extended hours stay in a message. Otherwise, for requested stays exceeding 9 hours, I will send you a modification request changing it from 'day care' to the status of 'boarding' which costs more. If I have to send you a modification request & you don't want to pay a boarding fee for time exceeding 9 hours, you may choose to decline the change & it will never actually be booked with me. However, in this instance, you will need to find another sitter. Thank you for understanding... We have a fenced in yard for your pup to play in. The previous home owners put in a separate fenced kennel, so that's an available option in case you prefer your dog to be separated. It's unusual, but some people do prefer that. We almost never use it, though.

About: I have been the go to in my family for watching animals. Everyone has different ways they live and our animals find comfort in routine. I have always done my best to meet them where they are and ensure their animals feel as comfortable as possible while the parents are away. I currently work full-time, so my availability is a bit thin. Overall I work approximately 10hrs a day. Which means I am only available early mornings and late evenings on work days. I have my own pets but my husband takes care of their needs while I'm not around. We aren't in a position to watch pets in our own home but outside of the time I need to work I am very flexible with my time. I do not offer boarding services. However, when taking care of another's pet before the service date(s) I gather as much info as I can. What is their routine? how much energy does your pet have? Etc. And I will do my best to accommodate. I try to take my own dogg out about every 2-4hrs and give her lots of love and attention. If yous animal has different needs from meds to high attention or even more frequent potty breaks I can work with those factors.
“Chevaughn did an amazing job! One of my dogs (Toffee) is 'very' skittish & does not warm up to new people well (it often takes weeks - sometimes months - for people just to be able to pet her). However, when we did the first meet & greet, Toffee was curious & got close enough to sniff him, which I thought was a great sign. But then... Chevaughn was actually able to pet her before leaving. She was wary, but let him. It kinda shocked me a bit. We had met with 2 other potential sitters & Toffee wouldn't get near them. With one of them, she wouldn't even come inside the house from the yard, not even for a treat, so long as the lady was there. Chevaughn has great energy, though. He was calm & assertive, moved gently around Carlee & Toffee, and they both became fast friends with him. While we were away, he even sent video of her licking his hand. That was a huge deal... Chevaughn was reliable, on time, consistent & most importantly, he is kind. Next time we need a sitter, he's our guy and I highly recommend him for taking care of your pups..”
