About: I've taken care of friends, family and neighbors animals since I was about 12. Feeding, water, play. I'm more familiar with dogs and cats but I can also take care of other pets you might have including fish, hamsters and even chickens! I raised my soul dog, LJ from 6 weeks old until she passed away at 11 from spinal cancer. She was my greatest achievement as a person, and I was proud to be able to love and care for her. I have the experience of all life stages. From puppyhood to adulthood, senior care to advanced care. I also have experience in the veterinary field. I worked for Hagerstown Banfield Pet Hospital for almost 2 years. I learned basic first aid skills and wound care, medication administration, attention to behavior changes due to illness or injury and the awareness of possible emergency. I will communicate thoroughly with every owner to make sure their pet is treated exactly as they are on a normal day to day basis. Your pet will be my new niece or nephew for the entirety of my care. I do have a full time job that is located in the Frederick. My availability for overnights depends on location but I am happy to try and help if I can! I am currently unable to care for pets in my home, but if I were to stay at your home, my goal would be to ensure there are no disruptions to their regular schedule.
