“Alex and Christina are totally awesome people!! Back in June, my son and I spontaneously went out of town, we needed to find a place for our French Bulldog, Darth Vader. I heard about Rover.com and decided to give it a try since Vader did not do well in the kennel last year. In my search I found this lovely couple and gave it a try. We loved them so much, that this was our 2nd time that Vader has stayed with them!! Alex and Christina have a fantastic set up and know how to handle dogs. When Vader arrived, they introduced him by keeping him in a room separated by a baby gate so the animals have a chance to get used to each other. Their dogs are well behaved and are used to having new friends around, they don't bother much. From the moment I dropped Vader off, I knew he was in good hands. They treat your pup as part of their family. Christina was very responsive, sent pics and videos when she was able to do so, she even sent Vader home with a bone he had commandeered. About: Hi! I’m Genevieve! I’ve spent my entire life caring for animals and have been pet sitting and dog walking for about 13 years. Larger dogs are definitely my specialty, but I grew up with small dogs as well and am comfortable with all breeds, sizes, and personalities. Until the fence is complete, all outdoor time will be closely supervised and dogs will remain safely leashed. About: Hi! I’m Genevieve! I’ve spent my entire life caring for animals and have been pet sitting and dog walking for about 13 years. Larger dogs are definitely my specialty, but I grew up with small dogs as well and am comfortable with all breeds, sizes, and personalities. I have extensive experience with rescue dogs, high energy breeds, and dogs with behavioral or special needs. I adopted my own pit bull from a euthanasia list and have spent years working through reactivity and behavioral challenges with her, which has given me a strong understanding of canine body language, patience, and maintaining consistent training routines. I’ve had five cats of my own throughout my life, so I’m comfortable caring for cats as well. About: As the go-to person for friends in need of dog-sitting, I recently figured "Why not expand?", hence my decision to register with Rover. Setting dogs and their people at ease brings me joy! I've had two dogs over the past 20 years: one slightly demonic and requiring special precautions, and the other a big, gentle galoot. Both absolutely stole my heart. I work from home and am available for walking (give me allll the exercise) and sitting (give me allll the cuddles). I work from home with a very flexible schedule, so I'm around to give attention as needed, 7 days/week. I'm an early riser (6:30 give or take), so early walks or breakfasts would be no problem. I have a fenced yard that would be secure for all but the most accomplished escape artists. Your pet would have full access to all parts of the house (including furniture). That said, if crating, furniture restrictions, etc. work better for you and your dog, I would happily honor your typical rules and routines.

About: I’ve had dogs my whole life and absolutely love them. I’ve volunteered at an animal shelter since I was 10 where I specialized in puppies and adult dogs. I moved to Frederick recently and am looking to get my spend time with your dog until I get my own. Fun fact I also had guinea pigs growing up! I work from home and am usually available during the day to take care of your dog. I am available during the day, mornings, and evenings. About: I have taken care of dogs since I was 10 years old. For many years my neighbors have counted on me to drop-in and ensure their dogs are safe and well taken care of when they were not home. I have also walked dogs and prepared the dogs food for the elderly for many years. I am currently working part time 3-4 times a week, so I would love to spend time with your dogs! On the days that I work I am available before 10am and after 5pm, but on the days I don’t work I am available all day! I have a small fenced yard with more land outside of that which is unfenced. I have an outdoor cat that roams around and comes inside occasionally. I am the go to person for all my friends and family when they wanna leave their animal for the weekend or a long trip. About: Greetings! I am an experienced dog owner and pet sitter, and recently just lost my wonderful lab of 14.5 years. I'm experienced with puppies, adults, seniors, and everything in between, including any dog size petite to massive! I can administer medicine as well. We have a home about 4 blocks from Baker Park in a quiet neighborhood that is good for walks, and we have a fully fenced in backyard as well. I work from home M-F 8am to 5pm, and am generally home at all times. Occasionally I may step out for dinner with my wife or friends. I work from home Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm, and am generally home at all times. My schedule is fairly flexible during working hours, so I can take our furry friend out for many breaks and walks. I have a fenced in back yard in a quiet neighborhood that's good for walking as well, with parks close by. We love dogs, small to large, and would be happy to host yours.
About: I recently lost my 14-year old bulldog and I am looking to reconnect with dogs before committing to another long term companion. I have experience with senior dog care, to include dogs with cancer and dementia. I work full-time from home. During the day, I would be able to offer 2 15 -minute bathroom visits/walks during my breaks from work. I also have flexibility when other needs arise. In the evenings, I am free to give your dog as much love and attention as they desire. I only accept 1 dog at a time (unless multiple dogs are from the same owner and the dogs are pair bonded). I was single handedly responsible for my own dog for 11 years before she died of old age, so I know what it takes to compassionately care for a dog. I have also watched my friends’ dogs and my parent’s dog for weeks at a time. Taking care of dogs is not a new experience for me. I work from home and have complete control over the flexibility of my schedule. I can take breaks from my work to attend to your dogs needs 2 times per day during my 15-minute breaks. I am free evenings. I can also use my breaks to give walks/pet stop-ins if within close proximity to my house. I am willing to take care of dogs who prefer free play in a fenced in yard or those that prefer longer leash walks or park outings. I have no problem with free roam in the house or crating, whichever fits best with the dog’s regular routine. I have a big fenced in back yard and live in a neighborhood with sidewalks and a park 1 block away. I also have a good relationship with a local vet in case of emergencies.
