“Julia and Colin were great! They communicated well and even met Toast before boarding! We received a lot of pictures where our dog was smiling and having a good time with them. We will definitely book again!”

“Cindy is Awesome! Great communication with us through out our pups stay! She sent pictures every day and let me know how he was eating and getting along with the other dogs. I definitely trust Cindy and know that our Rosco is safe and happy with her in her home.”

“Perseus and his partner were fantastic! Our pup can be really apprehensive around strangers, especially men. They both were so calm and patient with her, and really helped her settle in. By the second day, she was sitting on Perseus's lap and running up to him to give kisses! I appreciate their demeanor and professionalism so much; we will definitely board with them again.”

“Maria watched our two golden doodles while we were on vacation for a week. This is the second time we’ve used her and she’s always been great. She sends updates with photos/videos multiple times a day. I can tell our boys were well taken care of. Would definitely recommend.”

“Scott and his dog Lucy were a great match for Roo! I received multiple picture updates and he was great at communicating. We met up beforehand to ensure a good match, and it was clear Scott has a natural way with dogs. Would gladly rebook!”

“Sarah and her family provided constant updates of my dog throughout the week. Her daughters seemed really engaged and loving on my dog, making me feel confident she was receiving all the love and affection she gets at home. When I picked her up, my dog seemed so relaxed, almost as if she hadn’t been gone all that time, helping me feel confident she was safe and loved on. Usually after boarding in a facility, my dog is highly anxious, extra agitated and disheveled. None of that here with Sarah. Her and her family were truly the best sitters. I never worried once while away.”

“Jan was amazing with taking care of our two large pups. She kept us well informed how things were going and sent pictures daily. Jan was very flexible with times and dates as we were using her for when my wife was having a baby. We asked to extend their stay due to having to be gone longer than expected and Jan was very understanding. She will be the first person we contact if a dog sitter is needed and would 100% recommend!”

“Amazing couple who took amazing care of our dog. First time staying with strangers overnight and they made him feel right at home! Thank you guys for watching our lil goofball!!”

“Scott and Ashley were fantastic. Their back yard was perfect for Piper to run around in and they took fantastic care of her. They were extremely communicative as well. I look forward to Piper staying at their house again!”

“Ashlee was very communicate and sweet during Frankie’s stay with her! She was flexible and followed all of our requests. She sent updates with photos each night. Thanks Ashlee!”

“Kayla and Milo were awesome sitters! Kayla did an amazing job housing my dog Kobe and sending picture updates to show he is doing. It seemed like he enjoyed his stay so much. Milo also was a great furry friend to keep Kobe company. With the awesome communication and also being flexible on scheduling, Kayla is awesome to work with. Definitely will book again.”

“I booked with Nicole to watch my dog Penny for two nights while I was away for the weekend. Everything went great! Good communication throughout and no issues at all with Penny. I would definitely book with her again!”

“This stay was great! Our dog seemed super happy and wasn’t sure he wanted to come home. Katie and her family took great care of him and made all the arrangements super easy. We look forward to another stay!”

“Lisa was great with my dog and made it a smooth pick-up and drop-off process. I could tell my dog was comfortable and well cared for. I would definitely recommend booking with her!”

“Laura was great! Our dog Dolly seemed well taken care of. Dolly got along really good with her labrador Diesel. He is a sweet boy. Highly recommend her and have scheduled for future plans. Theresa W.”

“Tracy is the best dog sitter! My dog was given the attention she likes. There were other dogs that my pet met at Tracy’s that she made friends with. She got to play outside and go for walks. It was her dream come true!”

About: I’ve had dogs my entire life and truly consider them family. Growing up, my family had a Cocker Spaniel, then a Weimaraner, and eventually we fell in love with Labrador Retrievers — we’ve had three Labs in a row. My most recent chocolate Lab, Thor, passed away about 2 years ago, and until we’re ready to bring another dog home, I’ve decided to pour that love and care into other people’s dogs. My dogs have always been right by my side, so your dog will never feel like a guest. If your dog enjoys car rides, they’re welcome to come along with me. At home, they’re free to relax on the couch, go for walks, play at the dog park, or just enjoy companionship and attention throughout the day. I trained our labrador Thor to retrieve so if you have a hunting dog and they have a favorite retriever toy I’d be happy to keep their skills fresh while you’re away. I understand how important it is to trust someone with your dog, and I’ll care for yours as if they were my own — with plenty of love. I work full-time Monday to Thursday.I am an early riser due to work and having young kids. I work 10 minutes from home so stopping home for potty breaks and exercise during the work week is easy to do. Friday,Saturday,Sunday we are home bodies with two young kids and will treat your dog like family all day. I can crate your dog in our XL crate with a comfy bed if needed. Puppies can be put into a puppy play pen as needed. We have a nice yard to play and a dog friendly neighborhood for walks weather permitting. I will only watch one dog at a time for dog safety and to give your dog my full attention. I will watch multiple dogs from the same household. Due to young kids (3&5 year olds) living in our home I do request dogs that do well with children. If you have a puppy I understand the potential teething and nipping stage is apart of a dogs growth and understand the process as I’ve had 4 puppies in my life. My children will always be supervised around your dog.
Brown Deer pet parents share their Rover experiences
According to our dog sitter review specialist, our little Chihuahua, Cosita... she had a wonderful overnight visit with Auria and is looking forward to her return visit in a few days. She was very pleased with the care she received and enjoyed meeting and interfacing with the other dogs. We were also impressed with the great care that Cosita received and have a few more visits scheduled.

Samantha was great with Louie, she made him comfortable and he seemed to have a nice time staying with her. She took lots of photos for me and updated whenever she could! So happy to have found her last minute especially, someone that could give him all his medications and understand how/when to give them. Definitely will be booking with her in the future!
