“Angela and family were outstanding! I will definitely call them again. They LOVE dogs! Angela was wonderful to work with, she set up a Meet and Greet to see how our dogs would get along. Nothing was stressful for her... she's calm, cool, and super easy to work with. She sent multiple pictures and gave updates. Her back yard is VERY dog friendly with a super fence and TONS of dog toys! Book her, you will not be sorry!”
“Linda was amazing! She was able to accommodate my dog very last minute, which I truly appreciated. She was very kind and made sure my dog was comfortable and well cared for throughout her stay. She took her on multiple walks each day and kept me updated, which gave me a lot of peace of mind. This was my first time leaving my dog with someone I didn’t know, and Linda made the experience so much easier than I expected. I could tell that she genuinely cared about making sure my dog was happy and comfortable. I’m very grateful for the care she provided and would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for someone dependable and caring to watch their dog!”

“Willow had a great time! Laura took great care of her and sent a photo every day. She got along well with Diesel, and she ate all her food, which means she was very comfortable at Laura’s house. Knowing she was doing well allowed us to enjoy our vacation more. We will definitely book Laura again!”

“Sonja took great care of my baby. She sent photos and messages to let me know how he was doing. Her communication was excellent and she was very easy to work with.”

“Our dog loved being at Jan’s. He enjoyed the huge yard to explore, doggy companionship & lots of love and attention from the family. This is just what our boy needed rather than a larger day care/boarding environment.”

“Angie was amazing! My dog had so much fun that I’m pretty sure he didn’t want to come home! She sent great updates and pictures and treated Cosmo like her own. I definitely will be using her again!!”

“Jacquelin and her husband have been a wonderful find and we could not be more grateful for her and her husband’s incredible care for our guy, Teddy. We were gone for 10 days for our spring break and were a little nervous being gone that long. Teddy comes from a one dog household and normally stays at home with a family member or friend; however this trip was too long for an arrangement like that and could not have been more pleased with the care, concern, consistent communication and love given to our sweet guy! We would not hesitate to use them again. Thanks so much 💛”

About: I’ve had dogs my entire life and truly consider them family. Growing up, my family had a Cocker Spaniel, then a Weimaraner, and eventually we fell in love with Labrador Retrievers — we’ve had three Labs in a row. My most recent chocolate Lab, Thor, passed away about 2 years ago, and until we’re ready to bring another dog home, I’ve decided to pour that love and care into other people’s dogs. My dogs have always been right by my side, so your dog will never feel like a guest. If your dog enjoys car rides, they’re welcome to come along with me. At home, they’re free to relax on the couch, go for walks, play at the dog park, or just enjoy companionship and attention throughout the day. I trained our labrador Thor to retrieve so if you have a hunting dog and they have a favorite retriever toy I’d be happy to keep their skills fresh while you’re away. I understand how important it is to trust someone with your dog, and I’ll care for yours as if they were my own — with plenty of love. I work full-time Monday to Thursday.I am an early riser due to work and having young kids. I work 10 minutes from home so stopping home for potty breaks and exercise during the work week is easy to do. Friday,Saturday,Sunday we are home bodies with two young kids and will treat your dog like family all day. I can crate your dog in our XL crate with a comfy bed if needed. Puppies can be put into a puppy play pen as needed. We have a nice yard to play and a dog friendly neighborhood for walks weather permitting. I will only watch one dog at a time for dog safety and to give your dog my full attention. I will watch multiple dogs from the same household. Due to young kids (3&5 year olds) living in our home I do request dogs that do well with children. If you have a puppy I understand the potential teething and nipping stage is apart of a dogs growth and understand the process as I’ve had 4 puppies in my life. My children will always be supervised around your dog.
About: I have watched friends and neighbor's pets for years and decided to sign up with Rover. I love all animals. I have 1 dog and 1 cat, and they are family. I will walk, love and play with all pets staying with me and follow instructions given by their owners. I can watch puppies that are really like toddlers or older wiser members of your families. I am comfortable giving medications if needed. Most will sleep on my bed and yes, they are allowed on my furniture, but they are welcome to sleep or nap wherever they would like. I want you to go on vacation knowing they are happy and having a vacation of their own. I have a morning routine which includes a long walk, depending on temperature, playing in the yard with my dog and another walk usually late afternoon. Walks include walks around my neighborhood and also at parks. While your dog is in my care, I will not be going to any dog parks with them. I will have our dogs meet prior to accepting a job. They can play in my yard and once we are both comfortable with their meeting, we can schedule a time for drop off or pick up. While in my home they will be treated with love and respect. Walks and playtime throughout the day. They are allowed to sleep or hang out wherever they would like.

“Doreen watches our dog every vacation we’re on. She sends us updates everyday and we look forward to our daily picture she sends us. Very dependable and a great communicator. Thanks.”

“Ashlee was great with my dog, Sariah! She sent updates with pictures throughout the weekend, which was much appreciated. We will definitely book her again when we need a sitter.”

“Ester did such a good job with our Golden Retriever! We reached out last minute and she was so accommodating. Quick response time, and Tucker had a blast. 🐾💗”

“Rachel did an amazing job watching our dog! She was very communicative and sent daily videos/pictures of our dog while we were away! She was very accommodating and even dropped our dog off at our house before we got home! i will definitely book again!”

“Auria took excellent care of our 4 month old puppy for his first overnights away from home! He got along well with her dog and I appreciated the updates she gave me. I’ll definitely use her again for dog care!”

“Sarah, Dan and their girls were amazing! Badger loves children and had a ball. They provided pictures during the stay which helped calm our nerves. We noticed he was exhausted when he got home which is a good sign. We would definitely use them again.”

“Levi is a frequent visitor at Dan’s and loves going there. It’s Levi’s home away from home and I always know he’ll have fun, and will be well cared for.”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Fox Point
I couldn’t have asked for a better sitter. From the moment she met my pup, it was clear she genuinely cared. She sent regular updates, adorable photos, and made sure she felt comfortable and loved the entire time. When I picked her up, she was happy, relaxed, and clearly had an amazing time. I felt completely at ease knowing she was in such good hands. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy, kind, and attentive dog sitter.

Angie was great to work with. Despite my dog Jozzie’s quirks and mannerisms she was bow to make her feel at home and comfy. I also appreciated the photos she took of Jozzie lounging around in their spacious back yard on the river ! Thanks Angie. I hope you can take care of Jozzie in the future!

This is my 2nd time having Ann & Arman and their kids watch and take care my dog....I will not find a better family to leave your pet with while away. They are always sending pictures, updates and are very good with communicating. They took my dog on multiple walks per day, always gave him love and play time and made sure that he felt comfortable at their home....soo much so that when I came to pick him up he looked out the window and barked at me lol....if you are able to book this family take it...outside of my own family I will not take my dog anywhere else......thank you again!!
Katie and her family are amazing in every way of the word. From the moment we met, it was clear that they genuinely care about animals and treat every pet as if it were their own. They provided regular updates, photos, and messages, which gave me complete peace of mind knowing my dog was happy, safe, and well cared for. They maintained our dog's routine, made sure plenty of exercise and playtime were included each day, and, most importantly, gave lots of pets and love. Katie and her family are professional, reliable, trustworthy, and compassionate. I would absolutely trust them with my dog again and wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone looking for a truly outstanding pet sitter.🐾❤️

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in WI ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
