Schedule Caring for dogs is my full time focus. I provide Rover pet care full time, and am home full time outside of quick errands and hitting the gym! I maintain a calm, attentive environment where dogs are rarely alone and always have someone nearby to meet their needs.

Safety We prioritize safety by pet-proofing our home, keeping hazardous items out of reach, and supervising pets at all times. Whether it’s backyard play or a leashed walk, we ensure dogs are always in secure, pet-friendly environments. We also tailor safety measures to each dog’s personality, energy level, and needs. Trust Building trust with both pets and their people is at the heart of what we do. We take time to understand each dog’s routine and preferences, and we maintain regular communication with pet parents, sharing updates and photos so they always feel connected and confident in our care. Environment Our home is clean, cozy, and designed with dogs in mind, with plenty of space to move, comfy spots to rest, and loving attention throughout the day. We create a calm, positive environment and adjust our approach to meet each dog where they’re at.

Not required — just good to know for behavior awareness. - Age & Activity Level: What keeps them happy and engaged? - Special Needs: Any health issues, medications, or mobility considerations? - Potty Trained? Not a problem either way — I just like to be prepared. - Social Behavior: How do they do around other dogs or new people? - Routine: Meals, walks, bedtime — the more I know, the more comfortable they’ll feel. - Triggers or Fears: Anything that stresses them out (like loud noises or strangers)? - Commands or Training: What should I reinforce? - Crate vs. Free Roam: What’s your usual setup when they’re unsupervised? - Grooming Needs: Brushing, paw care, or anything else? - Emergency Info: Vet’s name/number + a backup contact just in case.

A typical day at Buddy’s Boarding is calm, engaging, and tailored to each pup’s personality. We start the day with outdoor potty breaks and fresh air, followed by breakfast and a cozy rest. From there, we build in a mix of walks, yard time, enrichment, and one-on-one attention, based on your dog’s energy level and routine. I’m a very active guy and love being outside, so energetic pups who enjoy fetch, tug, or long walks will have a blast. At the same time, I’ve got plenty of comfy spots and calm corners for dogs who prefer lounging, cuddles, or quiet enrichment like chew toys or treat puzzles. Evenings are all about winding down with dinner, a final potty break, and relaxing hangout time before bed. Whether your dog is high-energy or low-key, we make sure they feel safe, fulfilled, and loved throughout their stay.

This was our first time leaving our big girl overnight much less for 11 days, and I was nervous. But Percy was super nice and the frequent updates and excellent commuication were very reassuring. Most importantly Lady May had a great time!
