I’m a professional dog handler with experience working with hundreds of dogs of all breeds and temperaments, and Darik works from home full time. Perseus was very good with Pepper Jack, understanding his personality and accommodating. I highly recommend him and will definitely use him again.
This was our first time leaving our big girl overnight much less for 11 days, and I was nervous. But Percy was super nice and the frequent updates and excellent commuication were very reassuring. Most importantly Lady May had a great time!
They were phenomenal with my pup! She’s a pretty skittish dog and they provided an environment where she could play with other dogs and not react out of fear!
We were a bit nervous leaving our 2 year old doodle as we’ve never used Rover before. When we’ve left him previously with sitters, he’s a mess when we come home. This time he came home calm and easily transitioned back to us and life at home. We will definitely use again!
Wonderful experience! My dog received excellent care and returned home totally calm & relaxed. I highly recommend and will definitely return in the future.
Highly recommend!! When we picked our dogs up they did not seem stressed like after staying at a kennel. This was the first time we used these gentlemen and we definitely plan to again. Not only did we receive updates while we were gone, they even washed our dogs’ blankets. Class act all the way!

Schedule
Schedule Caring for dogs is our full time focus. Darik provides Rover pet care full time, and I am home the majority of the time, aside from a short shift on Thursday mornings from 6am to noon. This allows us to maintain a calm, attentive environment where dogs are rarely alone and always have someone nearby to meet their needs.

Whether it’s backyard play or a leashed walk, we ensure dogs are always in secure, pet-friendly environments. We also tailor safety measures to each dog’s personality, energy level, and needs. Trust Building trust with both pets and their people is at the heart of what we do. We take time to understand each dog’s routine and preferences, and we maintain regular communication with pet parents — sharing updates and photos so they always feel connected and confident in our care. Environment Our home is clean, cozy, and designed with dogs in mind — with plenty of space to move, comfy spots to rest, and loving attention throughout the day. We create a calm, positive environment and adjust our approach to meet each dog where they’re at.
A typical day
A typical day at Buddy’s Boarding is calm, engaging, and tailored to each pup’s personality. We start the day with outdoor potty breaks and fresh air, followed by breakfast and a cozy rest. From there, we build in a mix of walks, yard time, enrichment, and one-on-one attention, based on your dog’s energy level and routine. We’re active guys and love being outside, so energetic pups who enjoy fetch, tug, or long walks will have a blast. At the same time, we’ve got plenty of comfy spots and calm corners for dogs who prefer lounging, cuddles, or quiet enrichment like chew toys or treat puzzles. Evenings are all about winding down with dinner, a final potty break, and relaxing hangout time before bed. Whether your dog is high-energy or low-key, we make sure they feel safe, fulfilled, and loved throughout their stay.
