About: Hi, I'm Marissa! I am an experienced dog owner, as I've had my own pup for near 6 years now. I have a strong background caring for dogs of all ages and energy levels. I grew up helping my grandma, who was a Samoyed breeder, so I've been around dogs my entire life and learned early on how to properly care for them. I've had my Aussie since he was 8 weeks, which has made me very comfortable with high-energy breeds and understand how important exercise, attention, and mental stimulation are. Whether your dog needs a quick drop-in, a walk, or just some extra attention during the day, I'll make sure they're not just checked on, but truly cared for and engaged with. I know how hard it can be to leave your pet, even for a short time. I focus on making sure your dog feels safe & comfortable. I am currently offering evening availability on the weekdays starting at 6:30pm Thursday/Friday, and flexible scheduling on Saturday's/Sunday's for drop-ins & walks. I treat every dog like my own and can't wait to meet you and your pup! I am currently working a full-time job, 8am-5pm. I know this creates limited availability, but I am willing to fit in drop-ins and walks after 6:30pm during the weekdays, and will have flexible availability on the weekend. I take my dog on two 30 minutes walks everyday, on top of playing fetch often, & providing training on basics daily. I practice off-leash in areas where it is allowed. I feed morning and evening for my dog, provide lots of cuddles and affection, and make sure play time is priority. That can be through basic training, scent games, DIY puzzles, and running in the park! As for crate training, I did it for a year but have no moved to allowing my dog to snooze next to my bed every night. This set him up for success and created trust between him and I. I focus on trust with my dog 100% of the time, and understand his needs and wants daily. The bond between your pet is so important so I want to make sure I bring that same energy to your pet!

About: I’ve been caring for pets for the past 13 years, starting with walking my neighbors’ dogs multiple times a week and stopping by to let them out when their owners were away overnight. Since then, animal care has been a constant part of my life. I’ve helped care for my own dogs in every way—from off-leash walks and swimming to bathing and attending vet appointments. My family and I have also fostered dogs ranging from 8-week-old puppies to senior pups, giving me experience with dogs of all ages and needs. In addition to dogs and cats, I have extensive experience working with horses. I also have a laid-back tabby cat of my own who’s more like a dog than a cat. I’m a huge animal lover and always care for pets as if they were my own—providing the same attention, patience, and love I’d want someone to give my animals. I’m currently a full-time student at UWM, but I have a very flexible schedule. I attend classes three days a week, and most of my coursework can be done on my laptop. This allows me to spend plenty of quality time with your pet throughout the day and easily accommodate feedings, walks, playtime, and check-ins. I care for every pet as if they were my own. I understand that for most people, pets are family, and I treat them with the same love, respect, and attention I give my own animals. About: I have had pets all of my life, dogs when I was younger and until I moved up to Milwaukee, and I've had a cat for the last 3 years. I do my best to make sure pets feel cared for and loved. I have spent a lot of time getting my cat Sybil to "sit", "stand up", and "lay down". So I at the very least I have a lot of patience I currently work 9-5 but I work from home on Thursday and Fridays! So I have a pretty flexible schedule to take care of your pets. I make sure to follow your instructions to a T. I will likely not let them out of my sight for the duration of my stay with your pet.

About: I have had all sorts of pets since I was a kid - dogs, cats, fish, hamsters - so I understand body language and can know what your animal needs/wants based off that. I also worked at PetSmart, during which I was tasked with taking care of our cats and hamsters; therefore, I have ample experience with a variety of pets needs and personalities. I am currently a student, so my schedule is odd but I have plenty of time to come visit your pets or house sit! I am free everyday mainly midday and in the evening, but I can fit early morning visits as well. I can do any necessary task, be it bathing your pets, walking them, or simply feeding them and letting them out. About: I've had animals my whole life. From fish to frogs. Dogs ranging from a Corgi to a Rottweiler. Once had 6 cats and 3 dogs. I currently have a 15yr old hound mix who is half blind and deaf. I am no stranger to medicine and little accidents I work full time Monday through Friday but I have every weekend and evening off! Looking to spend time with any furry friend. About: I’ve taken care of multiple types of pets since I was young and have multiple years of experience in the veterinary field. I am used to taking care of not only healthy pets, but sick ones as well. I can give medications and can pay special attention to senior or sick pets. Into adulthood, I have years of experience with puppies, elderly dogs, and many personalities as I professionally dog walked for Gentle Hearts in Denver, and foster cared for the Montana Humane Society while constantly dog sitting for friends and family. Professional past includes house training the pups, feeding, walk training, lots of playing, and constant daily routine! I have cared for elderly dogs with medication care, carrying them outside, hand feeding and bathing. I have a deep belief in positive reinforcement training, and highly discourage using force or fear when caring for a dog. I believe in using treats, playtime and outside zoomies as a reward for good behavior. The importance of a dog feeling safe, loved, and positively trained is my priority! I have caring experience with animals from hamsters to lizards, to kitties, birds and farm animals (I volunteered on farms caring for sheep, cows, and horses!)
