About: I grew up with dogs all my life. I appreciate what they do for me. I have owned dogs of a variety of sizes Big (Labradors - Sassie and Flounder), Cocker Spaniel (Cleo), Basset Hound (Ginger), Terrier (Kush), and Pomeranian (Foxy). I learned by caring for these dogs that the most important thing is to identify each dog's individual needs by paying attention to how they are feeling and how they interact with me and the other dogs. I personalize my care for each dog. I am experienced with: - puppies as well as elder dogs and all ages in between. - administering medications as needed. - personalized feeding schedules. - personalized walking schedules and outdoors time. - crate trained or not. I am currently a stay at home wife who has plenty of time to take care of dogs up to 40 lbs. My home is pet friendly, with doorway gates to make sure that each dog has a safe place to eat and enjoy their stay at my home. My schedule is flexible and can be changed and updated on an as needed basis, I have a back yard and a safe sidewalk that is easily accessible outside my front door. My back yard has grass and a screened in porch for those days when it is comfortable for dogs to be outside.
“Alyssa R done a last minute drop in to check on my cat feed and visit him while on vacation. I would give 10 stars if possible. Her and her boyfriend were great! They gave him attention and made him as happy as possible while we were away. Thank you Alyssa R!”

About: My name is Drew and although I have shifted careers I still have a passion for dogs and would love to continue caring for yours. In the past I was a professional dog walker for several years. I held my dog walking permit and would pick up packs of pups on adventures around the San Francisco Bay Area! Before my career as a dog walker I worked in several doggy daycares and have extensive dog knowledge. I can handle breeds of all sizes and temperament. I know your pup is an important member of your family so rest assured they will be in good hands. I have a flexible work from home schedule so I have plenty of availability for walks or drop in visits. Reach out to me and see if I am available! Unfortunately unable to offer care in my own home due to having a reactive dog, but I am available for any other type of care you may need.
“We are so thankful for Chelsea and the amazing care she takes of our boy. She gives him the care and attention he needs to feel secure while we’re gone and she takes care of every request. Thank you again, Chelsea! We appreciate you so much!”

I pay close attention to their routines, energy levels, and comfort so they feel safe, loved, and relaxed while you’re away. “Molly is the best! She sent photos and a detailed description of each check in visit. She brought her dog, Zona, along, and all of the dogs had so much fun together! We will definitely be asking her to watch our dogs again in the future! Thanks again!”

About: Every pet has their own unique personality, so I take the time to learn their routines, needs, and what makes them happiest. My goal is to provide loving, reliable care while you’re away, along with optional photo updates so you can stay connected with your furry family. I work around my Rover hours, putting your pet care first. Leaving time for minimal chores, such as the gym, grocery shopping, or school work. I will first talk to you about what you are looking for in a pet provider. We will then come up with a strategy to provide the best service for your furry family.
“Carmella was great with Yuki. She is a fearful dog so I'm always concerned with new people but Carmella put me at ease. You can tell she has a genuine love of animals. I will definitely use her again.”

“Samantha was an absolute lifesaver! She took amazing care of our two dogs, Anakin and Choco, while we were away. From the moment she met them, you could tell she truly loves animals — and the feeling was mutual. The dogs adored her! She was attentive, responsible, and kept us updated with pictures and messages the entire time. It gave us such peace of mind knowing they were in good hands. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and caring sitter. We’ll definitely be calling her again!”

“Krystal was amazing! We booked somewhat last minute and she was quick to reply with a meet and greet. She sent updates while we were out of town with photos. We had a special needs kitty (one who is diabetic and likes to hide). Krystal was patient and able to give him his insulin without issues. Would highly recommend and would use her again for our next vacation!”

“My first experience with rover.com and I couldn't be more pleased. Denise immediately bonded to my very senior dog and he simply loved her. She was punctual. Kind. Provided complete communication and an abundance of photos. Because my dog is a senior and on meds, several issues arose which Denise immediately handled. She purchased some items for which I reimbursed her. She assembled a cage I ordered online. Again, she gave more than 110% and I found her completely trustworthy. Kudos to you, Denise!”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Brooksville
This was my first time using rover for my 2 cats. My original cat sitter fell through with a day to find a replacement on a holiday weekend. I chose Riley for her experience that was listed in her profile and she was close to my home. Riley was all around wonderful throughout the whole process. Great communication and pays attention to details. She is very thorough in asking questions about my pet’s needs. Her care and kindness with my animals has shown tremendously over just a weekend. My cats are usually skittish of new people But I was surprised by the cute photos I got in my pets report cards. They were enjoying treats and pets with riley by the second day. I cant wait to rebook her in the future and I highly recommend her!

I’m extremely happy with the quality of service from Alyssa! She was an excellent communicator, followed directions perfectly, and made the whole experience stress-free. As a bonus, my girls were comfortable with her right away, which gave me so much peace of mind. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and caring pet sitter!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
