“There are no words to express just how much we appreciate Elizabeth and the wonderful care she takes care of our kitty whenever we’re away. She is punctual, friendly, communicative and you can tell she really loves our Leo. She takes amazing pictures of him and I swear she could have a secondary career as a pet photographer. I couldn’t imagine anyone better to watch your beloved pet while you’re away. Thanks, Elizabeth!!!”

“She was recommended to us by our previous pet sitter who moved away, and we couldn’t be happier. She was able to accommodate a same-day drop-in when we were in a pinch. She did everything we asked and went above and beyond, and she sent lots of lovely pictures! We will definitely be using her again in the future.”

“Megan is wonderful. Had her watch our 3 kitties when we were out of town for our wedding. Felt very safe leaving them with her and came home to three healthy, happy, kitties!”

About: I have always loved animals from a young age. I have two cats of my own, Bean & Gator :) I’m currently caring for numerous clients including the Penix family’s (as in Micheal Penix, starting quarterback for the Atlanta Falcons!) I’ve decided to expand my clientele over to Rover! I have years of experience walking, feeding, bathing/grooming, etc all sorts of different house & farm animals. I specialize in day-to-day care but I also am more than qualified to administer medications, bottle feed, and take special care for newborn and senior pets. I’m a Veterinary Technician working in Dade City with two pets of my own, lots of space in my home for private rooms for boarding, and a clean and spacious front/back yard. I look forward to meeting you & your furbaby!! 💞 I spend everyday with my two cats, along with working a few days a week at a veterinary clinic where i’m learning more and more each day on how to provide optimal care for animals. I have an additional room in my home to provide a private space for your pet which is completely sanitized after each guest. I provide treats of all different types for everyone’s pallet and dietary needs. I have a reliable source of transportation to ensure I can be there for your loved one. I have multiple sizes of leashes for walks, crates for any anxious or needing pets and plenty of toys and time to keep them entertained.
“I feel so lucky to have found Brittany to check in on our cat, Wilson, while we were away! Great communication with lots of pictures and videos. Wilson was well loved and the house was tidy when we returned. Highly recommend Brittany for your pet sitting needs!”

“Such a great cat sitter. Kelli provided lots of communication and updates on my cats while I was away giving me such peace of mind. She was timely and considerate. I definitely will use her again in the future!”

About: I've had dogs since I was a kid and currently have two beautiful doggies, tiger and Hazel and they are super friendly! We have a 5 acre fenced property with a pool so they will enjoy their stay with us! My hubby says I cannot have any more dogs so I am now offering to sit and walk other friendly dogs. My two dogs love having friends and play dates at our house! Daily I wake up at 6am and let them out and feed them and let them hang out until I leave for work around 9:30am and when our teenagers get home around 2pm they get let out again and hangout until I get off at 6 or 7pm. They get fed again and have playtime and then bedtime is around 9pm. My doggies do great on that schedule and they are very active and love to hangout with us on the pool deck area. I have three kids, Karin is 21, Natalie is 18 and Gus is 16 and they all love animals! We also have chickens and goats and we all take care of them as a family. I care for my pets inside of our home, we also have a huge kennel we built that has a built in water spout and a fan. The kennel has a roof and is shaded year round. We also let them inside and on the screened in pool deck. They have crates also which I will use from time to time but for the most part I let them free roam in the kitchen or living room and use a doggie gate to section them off so they dont get into anything. They usually just follow me around and watch me cook dinner. :)
“When our Jed met Jaritza, it was love at first sight. Our Jeddy knew she was there to take good care of him as she did. I felt very comfortable since the day they met and she did a great job making sure he had his play time and a long walk. She went above and beyond by agreeing on my daughter’s request of putting some milk and cookies for Santa 🎅 on Christmas Day 🎄. Thank you Jaritza for your kindness.”

About: What sets me apart is the amount of time and attention I can give each pet. Since I work from home, pets in my care receive frequent potty breaks, companionship, supervision, and plenty of affection throughout the day. I understand that every pet has unique needs and routines, and I take the time to follow owners' instructions carefully, so pets feel safe, comfortable, and love while they're away. I pride myself on being reliable communicative and treating every pet as if they were my own. I have experience with my own pets, from their puppy stage until their current senior years. In addition, I have administered daily oral, intravenous, and eye medications to my pets. I currently work from home, so your pets can sit with me all day. They will have consistent supervision, frequent potty breaks, regular walks, and plenty of companionship throughout the day. Pet care fits naturally around my workday without interfering with my job and will rarely be left alone. Pets will receive attention, exercise and care from morning through bedtime. I have a fenced yard, an older male Shih Tzu, and a young male Tuxedo cat. I am reliable and will communicate with pet parents as requested. Frequent updates and photos will be provided. I have experience with my own pets with giving medications, recognizing signs of illness, and reading pet body language.
About: As a college student who has grown up surrounded by animals, caring for pets has always been a natural part of my life. I’ve lived with dogs, cats, and even chickens, so I’m very comfortable with a wide variety of pets and personalities. What sets me apart from other sitters is my genuine love for animals and the experience that comes from living with them every day, not just during scheduled visits. Your pet will be in caring, reliable hands, just like they’re part of my own family. I am currently home for the summer, waiting to hear back on a part-time job or internship. As of right now, I am fully available until further notice! N/A - I do not accept services where the pet will be in my own home because of the animals that live with me. .

“Tiffany was AMAZING!! She cared for our kittens and was so careful with the doors so they didn’t get out. She kept in touch with pictures and texts! Will be calling in her for our next trip!!”

“Doris was so great with our girls. My 3 dogs are a bit anti-social but Doris was so sweet and patient with them. She was willing to come out and get to know my girls before hand and I so appreciated that! The girls and myself all felt really comfortable with her and she put my nervous Nellie, dog mom heart to ease. I will definitely be calling her many more times in the future.”

About: i have many years of experience caring for animals from guinea pigs all the way to a Great Dane. I have been a veterinary assistant but I currently work at a boarding and daycare facility. I have open availability. My current job is extremely flexible. I have my own pets that I care for as well as other pets with my current role at the boarding and daycare facility. My pets at my home are very well taken care of with a fenced yard. I would prefer to watch/care for your fur babies at your home as my outside dogs are not always friendly to new comers
“100% RECOMMEND!!! We just moved back to WC/Zephyrhills area (sooner than planned) & our prev dog sitter ghosted us less than a mo before we were lvg for ~3 wk int'l trip. Alhough a family member would be staying @ our home we still wanted someone just for our fur babies... we were blessed w/ Shasta! She was all in for a meet/greet in our home. After a great ph convo, we invited her husband too bc w/ the length of time gone, we wanted her to know the pups wouldn't mind some more company. Shasta is an excellent communicator, she truly loves animals (they're not a $ to her) & she really works w/ you to accommodate needs/requests. This was our 1st drop-in & Shasta made it the BEST (2x a day). I can give so many examples, but for me it boiled down to: Her connection to our boys, her flexibility & her willingness to be on camera (lol). I hv medical needs & my panic disorder gets pretty intense when traveling w/out Gio. This was huge to me, Shasta gave consent to the streaming cameras we set up in the pupsters main areas. This allowed me to stay connected & grounded w/ a video or live view, so that my mental/physical health stayed in check. Most ppl don't understand the enormity of this gift. Also, when I saw the pure excitement oozing from our boys when Shasta (& hubby) were w/ them, playing & loving on them, no one could ask for more than that sight. Having a trained nurse w/ your kiddos... +BLESSING!”

About: i have always had a family animal, and i ended up being the one to care for it. i had kittens, cats, puppies, dogs, and bearded dragons, one time even a snake! All of which received amazing care up until they passed. Im currently working part-time about 32 hours on average a week. On days that i work i would come before im scheduled, on my hour lunch, and also when i get off work. Ive had to work with animal sitting around my work schedule before and will have no problem doing it for your animals as well. I am very observant and will make sure that absolutely nothing happens to your animals. And that they are cared for to my fullest extent.
“We had a last-minute situation and Haley came to the rescue! She did an excellent job taking care of our dog Yori and cat Tilly. We're grateful for her flexibility and the peace of mind she provided. Highly recommended!”

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
