About: Hi! I’m Cindy☺️ I grew up on a farm surrounded by horses, cows, dogs and cats, so caring for animals has been second nature to me for as long as I can remember. Animals have always been a huge part of my life, and providing them with love, safety, and attention truly brings me joy. I’m a registered nurse, and I’m fortunate to have a flexible schedule that allows me to be available most mornings and afternoons. My medical background also means I’m attentive, responsible, and comfortable with handling special instructions or additional care needs if required. At home, I have two Beagle Boys who are my absolute world. Your pets will receive the same love, patience and affection that I give my own. I also share my home with a Betta fish and hermit crab (who may very well outlive us all 🐚). I’ve always helped friends and family care for their pets, and now that my schedule allows it, I’m excited to offer that same dependable care to others. Taking care of animals is one of life’s simple pleasures for me, and I can’t wait to meet and care for your furry family members. I’m currently a registered nurse but I have a very flexible schedule. I’m available most days during the week. I rarely go out of town and if I do my availability will reflect it well in advanced. I have two beagles who can be spunky boys on occasion, but I am very comfortable walking pets or stopping by and just playing with them at your home.
“Jaritza has been amazing with my requested dog walks. She always asks care questions to make sure that my dog is taken care while I’m away. She communicates quickly & she goes above and beyond even when not asked of her. Literally the best!”

About: I’ve been caring for dogs and cats since I was 12 years old, starting with my own pets and gaining hands-on experience as I got older. Over the years, I’ve also provided pet sitting for my family, including regularly caring for my mom’s dog and my brother’s dogs. I’m very comfortable with feeding routines, basic care, and making sure pets feel safe and loved while their owners are away. I’m a true animal lover and treat every pet as if they were my own. Pet care is a natural part of my daily routine. I’m used to planning my day around feeding schedules, walks, and making sure pets get enough attention and exercise. Throughout the week, I stay consistent with routines so pets feel comfortable and stress-free. Whether it’s morning and evening care, playtime, or just checking in to make sure everything is okay, I make pet care a priority and enjoy being around animals every day. I provide loving and reliable care for pets both in my home and in my client’s home, depending on what works best for the pet and owner. I stick closely to each pet’s normal routine, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and any specific instructions given. I make sure pets have a clean, safe, and comfortable environment, and I give them plenty of attention so they feel relaxed and cared for. In a client’s home, I respect their space and keep everything clean while making sure their pet feels secure in their familiar surroundings. In my home, I provide a calm and pet-friendly environment where they can feel safe and comfortable. I also keep an eye on their behavior and health, and I’m quick to communicate with owners if anything seems off. My goal is to treat every pet like family and give them the same care I would give my own.

About: My name is Trey. I have loved animals as long as I can remember. I have a large variety of experience taking care of animals ranging from dogs and cats to rabbits and guinea pigs. I try to be attentive to owner requests and pet needs and I would be honored to take care of your furry friend. I am currently home for the summer until I head off for college in the fall. This means my schedule is very flexible and I can work around your pets' needs. I currently have one dog and one cat. I help administer medicine, care for their needs and clean up after them. I love playing with them and giving them extra attention whenever I can as well.
About: Dogs are people too..... At least that's how I have always felt and our furry friend gets most all of the attention in our home. My husband and I just moved to Florida from Arkansas. Most of our neighbors there we met through our dogs and thought this could be a great opportunity to take advantage of my love of the outdoors and meet some new dogs - I mean people. I have trained & cared for my own doggies from puppy stage to end stage and have had the privilege to care for other's furry family members along the way - how can you not love those faces? I can be available for morning and or evening walks around your neighborhood and visits so I can spoil your dog (almost) as you would. I work from home so I can be somewhat flexible with you and your pet's schedule, making sure they get lots of attention and quality care! I will make sure your pup stays safe while walking the neighborhood or playing in the yard. Or that they get quality attention while you are away.
About: My experience includes dog walking, overnight pet sitting, feeding schedules, playtime, and making sure pets feel comfortable and safe while their owners are away. I also have experience following detailed care instructions for bearded dragons and other reptiles, including feeding, habitat care, and handling routines. As a pet owner myself with both a dog and a lizard, I understand how important it is to give pets patience, attention, and proper care. I’m reliable, responsible, and able to carefully follow any instructions to make sure every pet gets the best care possible. Pet care fits perfectly into my schedule because I’m graduating soon and will have a very open and flexible availability. Since I’ll have extra free time, I’m able to be dependable, responsive, and give pets lots of attention and care throughout the day. As a reptile owner, I understand how important strict care is for animals like bearded dragons, including feeding, lighting, and habitat care. I also regularly walk and care for my own dog, and spending so much time with him has definitely made me his favorite person in the house.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
