About: I have been around all different kinds of dogs since I was young. I had gotten my first dog when I was in the first grade and have been in love with them ever since. I currently work from Home so I will be able to be attentive to all of your pets needs. Since I am always around I am able to walk your pets, feed them or play with them as much as needed. I have two friendly dogs that I’m sure your pets would get along great with. I have a fenced in backyard that they will be able to run around in. There are also plenty of toys for your pet to play with!
“We are repeat customers for daytime dog walks. Liz is reliable, timely and communicates well. Our pup seems to really love her and even our ultra shy cat, too. Thanks for the snapshots and updates about your walks, Liz!”

“Jaritza has been amazing with my requested dog walks. She always asks care questions to make sure that my dog is taken care while I’m away. She communicates quickly & she goes above and beyond even when not asked of her. Literally the best!”

About: My wife and I have taken care of dogs of all breeds since we were young. From people we know to people who we do not. We have/had many different breeds of dogs. We love dogs. I am a teacher. If you request me, I will let you know as soon as I can if I am able to accept. I am available weekdays in the afternoons and later and weekends. During summers I am available most days. I use positive reinforcement techniques. I will make sure to follow your directions for your pets to a T. Safety is always the most important.
“Phoebe enjoyed her walkies! Sometimes she can be a little timid with new people but I could tell that she warmed up to Yamillex quickly by the pictures that she sent me during her visit ! Will be using her again!”

About: Growing up, I always had dogs, cats, fish, turtles, lizards, you name it. Being around animals is what makes me happy. Now, I have a happy household of 5 cats, 3 outside kitties, and one blind pitty. I love my babies more than anything and I look forward to meeting and loving your babies as well. My philosophy is that I’ll take care of yours as if they’re mine. I’m currently a high school teacher on summer break and so my schedule is wide open. I have full availability and can work around any schedule. I have over an acre of land (fenced in) that my dog is able to enjoy and sun bathe in. I check water/food frequently as well as go outside and go on walks often to ensure my pup is entertained. I love playing tug of war with my boy, as he can’t see for fetch. As far as with my kitties, they have plenty of cat trees, toys, and feathers galore that they can chase and play with to their hearts content. Some may say that my babies are spoiled, I would agree with them whole heartedly.
“This was my first time using Rover, but I was going to some theme parks for 2 days and brought my dogs with me from out of town. I knew I couldn't leave them for hours without a potty break, and I have to admit I was anxious since this is the first time using a service like this, but Carli was awesome the entire way through! I'm super grateful to have the option for someone to come walk my dogs and I'm super grateful Carli was so communicative and my dogs were taken care of! I'm coming back to use the rest of my park tickets, and I will definitely book her again. Thank you Carli!!”

About: I had my own fur baby who passed a few years ago, but she was my sweet little thing. All animals have their own characteristics, but all of them are a big ole ball of fur with a big heart I am currently open all the time at any time. I am full time in college at Saint Leo University, and when I go back to school in August, and if schedules permit, I am open to making the drive! :) When watching over animals, I make sure not to take my eyes off of them. I don’t want them to feel stressed, so I do my best to make them as comfortable as possible. I’ll always go out of my way to make a fur baby happy

I have limited availability on the weekends but during the week, I am available almost every afternoon after to give your dog all the attention they need! About: Animals have always been a central part of my life; both personally and professionally. I even have hands on, daily experience with large breeds like Pit Bulls and German Shepherds as part of my own family, so I’m very comfortable with strong, intelligent, high energy dogs! I’m equally experienced with smaller breeds, including Corgis, Terriers, and other small companion dogs, and understand the unique personalities and care needs that come with them. I come from a family of specialized hoofstock and primate zookeepers, so animal care is quite literally in my DNA. Professionally, I’m a biology instructor from a science institute who has worked with a wide range of species, including raccoons, chinchillas, snakes, and kangaroo mice. From energetic mammals to more delicate or specialized animals, I’m confident, attentive, and knowledgeable in my approach to care. Above all, I genuinely love animals. Caring for them isn’t just something I do, it’s something I’m passionate about. I have the time, dedication, and enthusiasm to ensure your dog receives attentive, dependable, and compassionate care while you’re away. I dedicate my weeks entirely to pet care, offering flexible, reliable dog sitting anytime including holidays, weekends, and inclement weather for as long as needed. It’s not apart of my schedule, it IS my schedule. In my home, pets are welcomed into a calm, safe, and supervised environment. I maintain consistent routines for feeding, exercise, potty breaks, enrichment, and rest to mirror their normal schedule as closely as possible. Dogs receive structured walks, playtime, mental stimulation, and plenty of affection, never left unattended for long periods.

“Kayla is super patient with my big baby. I appreciated the extra effort Kalya went through to help support my pup during their walk visits. I will keep Kayla in rotation as needed for us.”

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
