1. Hannah G.

“Hannah was phenomenal! We just moved to this area a few months ago and have been very nervous about having to go out of town due to needing a pet sitter and not knowing many people around. When we met for the meet and greet, Hannah explained how she grew up on a farm and has experience with a variety of animals. We plan to add farm animals to our family soon, so this will be extremely helpful in the future. Hannah was so sweet and kind! She cared for our cat, Beans, while we went on a weekend trip to a friends. Beans tends to be very particular about humans, but seemed to really enjoy Hannah’s company and attention! She asked about where his toys were, played with him every visit, sent lots of super cute pictures, and provided great updates. We are very happy with Hannah as a sitter and hope to have her care for Beans + our other animals in the future!”

2. Elizabeth L.

“This was our first time trying to find a sitter for our family pets (1 dog and 6 cats!). We were hesitant to just pull a name off social media. Rover, however, provided an excellent opportunity to preview and locate a sitter in our area with the experience we needed. All transactions were easy and responses were very quick. Elizabeth, our chosen sitter, took on the challenge readily and came right out to meet and greet the furry part of our family. We were very pleased with her promptness, loving care, and plentiful feedback while we were away.”

3. James R.

“James loves our puppy Prada. We are so grateful to have found him. He takes time with her and updates us each time. He has also gone in and corrected my mistakes in Rover. I would not hesitate to refer him.”

13. Emily B.
About: I have always had a 4 legged animals in the house since I can remember. It started with cats, then dogs, then horses. I have competitively shown horses (Dressage) for over a decade now. I have been cat/dog sitting and dog walking in the Villages for 3 years now. I currently live in Middleton with my husband and newborn daughter. I own a 6 year old blue-heeler/lab mix, Ellie, so I understand what energetic dogs need. I also have a cat of my own, Autumn, he is a Maincoon. Outside of animals, I have been a nanny for 6 years with families who had dogs/cats. I work at the Villages Charter School. My hours are 7:00am to 2:30pm during the school year (August-May) During the summer, my schedule is flexible. I normally have my clients leave detailed instructions of their pets schedules and any medications they need/at what time they need them. When it comes to walking pups, I just ask you leave their leash and collar out and doggy bags if you have any.

About: I treat my dog as a beloved baby. I always try to give him as much happy and play times as I can. I walk him out on the sidewalks several days a week for more pleasure and more air refreshing as well as get him free of leash in our gated property with a big yard other times. I replace with fresh water for him and feed him 2 meals as needed everyday. Additionally, he does not have exposure to dirtiness much so he just needs a few baths a month. Plus we provide more types of treats often which make him very happy to have. Especially, he is trained to do things such as sit, lie down, wait, stop, go, speak, heel,…and he used to be a work dog for Temple Terrace Fire Department. More importantly, we take him to see the vet a few times a year or as much as needed. I’m currently working part time in the mornings so I have some time for him. I encourage him to grab his favorite toys and play with him when he seems to lay down more than needed and feel bored then sleep too much. We have lockable safe sturdy doors and a fenced yard with a gate which is closed when River is inside our property. Whenever he is outside of it, he is on leash and his behaviors are restricted in some cases such as he gets excited while meeting new dogs, we train him to stop and sit then slowly watch him get close to them and he does those orders always.

18. Mikelle G.
“Mikelle has cared for our two German shepherds when we travel numerous times. The dogs love her fun personality with them. She walked them, picked up dog mess outside daily, and of course fed/water twice a day. We had her stay at the house overnight as well so they had companionship while we were gone. She’s a gem!”
