I had a last minute emergency creating the need for a dog boarder for a holiday weekend on the Thursday before the holiday for my nervous nilly dog. I found them in my Rover account. They had a space for my dog and let us come over that same day for a meet and greet. My nervous nilly dog showed me right away how comfortable she was there. I loved what I saw and booked with them right away. Over the weekend, my fur baby was allowed to do the kinds of things we let her do at home - snuggle up on our chairs with us, sleep in our bed, etc. In addition to their fenced-in back yard, they went on daily walks and played in the house with their dog and 1 other that was also there for the weekend. I recieved photos and I could tell my dog was having a great time. When I picked her up yesterday I could quickly see that she was not stressed at all from this new last-minute situation. About: Don't tell the dog people, but by nature, I'm more of a cat person :) I grew up always having cats, with an animal-loving mom who often took in stray or injured animals. I lost my heart cat to cancer, but we still have 3 fur balls to shower with love and affection. We also have a diabetic cat and administer insulin shots at home twice a day. About: I’ve had dogs off and on since I was about 12 with all sorts of personalities due to fostering. I currently have 2 Australian Sheppards, 8 chickens and 4 cows. I work from home so I am available for many dogs needs. I am used to high energy dogs and one of my Aussies loves to play and run and run some more, so if you have an active dog they will be worn out when you get them home. I also have an older small dog in my family that is blind and deaf so I am used to that as well. I work from home and am available to take out your dogs for breaks quite a lot. I am available 24/7 unless I already have been booked. I have a large fenced in pasture that will be used for the dogs to run around and play in, my personal dogs are high energy so I can promise that most dogs will be worn out when they get home. I am also training for a half marathon in the fall so I welcome walking dogs too.

I have experience with a variety of care requirements including special handling for animals of different temperaments, walking and exercising dogs with behavioral issues, preparing specialized diets, and administering medications that I am confident in applying to your pet’s needs. While boarded, each dog has their own space to sleep, eat, and otherwise relax without being bothered by other dogs in the home. This can be a crate or puppy pen depending on what is the best fit for the dog. This is also where the dogs stay while I am out of the house to prevent any incidents between dogs. During the day, the dogs have the opportunity to spend their time inside or outside. There are plenty of toys and beds inside for some playing or relaxing. Outside, they have a fenced-in acre to run, explore, and roughhouse. The dog-friendly pool will be ready for use in April 2026. It has a 8x16ft sun shelf to allow for lounging in shallow water and a ramp for easy access in and out of the deep end. It is screened in to prevent anyone from slipping in unnoticed. For days that don’t allow for much exercise outside, I have treadmills to burn energy for dogs that are comfortable with them and plenty of puzzle feeders to keep their minds busy.

I work part time right now as a publix pharmacy technician, and im also a college student, but my schedule is fairly flexible. I only have classes Monday-Wednesday and its only in the morning. I have my own ways of getting there and am willing to do whatever you’re comfortable with to make your animals as comfortable as possible. If I need to request off work, I just ask I have at least a 3 weeks’ notice. Other than that, I would stop by on my lunch breaks, before and after work, and if you need me to stay overnight, I’d be happy to! Whatever your pets need is what I will provide, I don't offer pet boarding. I would be happy to go to your house and stay whether it be for a few hours or days if thats what you’re comfortable with. I love seeing animals comfortable in their own spaces and will do everything in my power to make sure it doesn’t stress out your animal when i’m there.

I look forward to meeting you and your pet! **Note for larger dogs** Larger dogs are accepted on a case-by-case basis as I am petite and would not want anyone to be inconvenienced if I am physically unable to handle the care of their dog. I work in film production and often have periods of completely open availability. Any potential schedule changes will be brought to your attention as soon as possible! I prioritize a calm and stress-free environment for your pets, while also providing exercise and play time if needed! I go at their pace to provide a feeling of comfort, safety, and (hopefully) familiarty.
About: I've had a variety of pets growing up but always love being around dogs. I don't mind cats. I have two pit bull mixes of my own right now wish I had the money and space to adopt more. I feel dogs need to be walked as much as possible and I would like to be the guy you can rely on to walk an important part of your family. Just like the dog in your life I can be just as loyal and always willing to please you the owner. I am available to walk your dog/dogs any day of the week with adequate notice. I don’t walk any dog past 8pm at night sorry I am a loving and respectful dog owner and caregiver of my own dogs and I will be the same way for you pets and home.

About: My mother had 15 different breeds of dogs from small to large and 10 cats and I was the one taking care of them and caring for them. I also have 2 cats that are very loving and sweet. I do work 3 days a week with my full time job but I am very flexible and would much rather watch them at your home where your animals are more comfortable I will take them to a dog park and as long as it’s at your home they are absolutely safe and they will feel more comfortable
About: I have 5+ experience rescuing, rehoming, & training a variety of dog breeds both puppies & older dogs! I am open to working with you and your dog with whatever needs you have for training and/or sitting. I currently care for 2 of my own dogs daily. “Another amazing stay for our Nova with Jay! Jay was able to fit us in for a weekend pretty last minute. He sent pictures at drop off and at convenient times during her stay. We really appreciate how he checks in just enough and never makes us feel like Nova is a burden. I love that it allows us to have a worry free weekend! Most of our pup’s stays are due to our daughter being a travel athlete. Jay always understands how we don’t always know what time we will be done on Sundays. Tonight we weren’t able to pick Nova up until later at night and Jay never made us feel bad about it. Nova always gets a ton of playtime in at Jay’s which I know she loves. We are thankful to have a permanent spot to board our girl. I would recommend Jay to any dog owner!”
