About: I have been dog-sitting for family and neighbors locally for the past 7 years. I have dogs of my own who are spoiled and treat other’s pets as my own. My current pet-sitting schedule and availability is open. I work part-time and have flexibility on the weekdays and I am also open on the weekends. About: I've had a lot of experience with dogs of various breeds. I love being around them and give them lots of attention. No worries if your dog needs a special diet or other specific needs. I always follow the owner's directives, so your dog will follow the usual routine. I'm active and enjoy taking dogs for walks and playing fetch. I've owned dogs and have often looked after my family's and friends' dogs anywhere between a few days to several weeks. The hardest part is saying good-bye to the dog. I am currently retired from teaching, so I'm very flexible. I don't have any driving restrictions or obligations that would get in the way of caring for your dog. I only watch dogs at the owner's home. Safety is a priority at all times, play in and outside the home. Some dangers include unhealthy and toxic foods, household chemicals, and traffic.

About: I’ve lived in Chicago since 2021 but am originally from NW Indiana where my family has had dogs in the home since I was in 4th grade. We have had dogs of different sizes throughout the years and I am very comfortable around any breed or age of dog. I’m always around pups and would love to meet your furry friend next! The last 3 dogs my family added to our home were all adopted from local shelters. The eldest, Theo (fluffy white dog in pics), went blind about five years ago so I do have experience caring for blind pets as well. I work full time but work from home 4 days a week and have a very flexible work schedule. I am able to take walks and breaks throughout the day with no issues. I am also available in the evenings and can work with you on arrangements as needed! I can handle any dog big or small, high energy, timid, shy, puppy or elder. I am detail oriented and very respectful of other people’s belongings and time. I get along great with all dogs and will follow any instructions directed by the owner! Safety is my top priority and I will only walk dogs on a leash and in areas you are comfortable with!

About: I’ve owned dogs since I was a baby as well as have spent weekends dog sitting for neighbors and other family friends. I am a huge dog person and would love to watch yours! I am currently a student at the University of Wisconsin and spend much time doing school work. However that does not mean I do not have free time and I would love to take care of dogs in my spare time. I have been around dogs my entire life so I have a pretty good grasp on how to take care of dogs and how to make sure they are happy and healthy.

About: Taking care of fur babies is a joy for me. From young ones to old ones, they all deserve love. I am transitioning to a remote role now that has very flexible hours so I am pretty open. I make the space safe for whatever animal I am hosting examples no food access, no sharp objects out or candles lit. Making sure water is available and blankets for my spoiled guests.

About: I'm an art history professor at the University of Chicago which means I have a flexible schedule for walks and drop in visits. I enjoy running and love taking active dogs for a jog around the neighborhood. I really love exploring the outdoors with my dogs, so if your pup is up for it, we'll go for a hike too!
