Six years ago I adopted a dog and it changed my life. <3 She's now a senior and enjoys her sleep, walks, and toys. I have experience with blind and deaf dogs too. I have plenty of time to care for your pets. I spend most of my days at home and have a flexible schedule to acccommodate your needs. I am comfortable crating your pets and ensure their safety is my top priority. About: Grew up with dogs. Haven’t had as many dogs as cats as they required more attention than cats and Rover didn’t exist when I was younger. I had 3 dogs in my young adult life over the course of 30 years. Currently we have a 9 year old pittie rescue and she is well cared for. I’m recently retired so my schedule is very flexible. Rover has made it possible for us to travel with peace of mind that our pets would be cared for. So I figured it would be a good fit as a retirement job and now I can give others the same peace of mind. The retired lifestyle has left me very flexible for going to people’s homes to help with their cat and dog maintenance while they travel. Currently not looking to offer in home services.

About: I’ve had dogs my whole life. I currently take care of my parents dog when needed, my best friends new puppy, and have prior experience with senior dog I used to care for. I work fully remote job so I have flexibility throughout the day to care for a dog as well as fenced area to let dog out in. It is just myself in a single family home with a fenced in back yard for all dog sitting needs. I also have a car and easily commute for any in-home calls and jobs.

Whether your dog is high-energy, a little nervous around new people, or just needs a steady routine, I adjust to what they need rather than running a one-size-fits-all walk. You can expect clear communication before and after every visit, so you always know exactly how things went. My schedule is flexible throughout the day, so dog walking isn't squeezed into a narrow window — it's a real part of my daily routine. That means I can offer consistent mid-morning, afternoon, or early evening walks, and I'm also able to accommodate last-minute requests or changes in timing without it being a scramble. If your schedule shifts week to week, I can usually adjust to match it. Safety is the first thing I think about with every walk. When I arrive, I double-check that all doors and gates are secure before I bring your dog out, and I make sure the leash and collar or harness are properly fitted before we leave — no slipping out mid-walk. I stick to routes I know well, avoid off-leash areas unless specifically asked, and keep a close eye on other dogs, traffic, and anything that could startle or spook your dog. I always carry water on hot days and adjust the pace or length of the walk based on weather and how your dog is doing that day. Before I leave, I make sure your home is exactly as I found it — doors locked, lights as they were, nothing out of place. If anything ever comes up during a walk, you'll hear from me right away, not after the fact.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I could walk. Grew up walking stuffed animals around on a leash just to prove to my parents that I was responsible enough to own one myself. I had two dogs that both lived to 16 so my track record is good I am currently working from home three to four days a week and that allows for me to be flexible with my timing. I can leave the house, let a dog out or just give him/her some extra belly rubs I have a fenced in yard that allows your fur baby to run around freely, but within the home I love to snuggle. Your pets are allowed on furniture and in beds at this household, as long as it’s okay with you.
