“Tasha and Joseph are amazing dog sitters and I could not recommend them higher. They watch my dog Tesla while I was away on a trip I was unavoidable. I cannot say enough good things.”

“Karen has watched Malakai twice for us now- the second visit was for over a week. He was so happy to see Karen when I dropped him off for a second stay so I could tell his previous experience had been a positive one. We received lots of fun pictures and Karen kept me updated on his stay all the time. He looked great when I picked him up the second time and it is obvious he was well taken care of. The best thing about Karen is she is very knowledgeable on dog behavior. She really is an expert read which means she is very capable of discerning dogs' needs and keeping multiple dogs safe. We are very happy with our experience!! Thanks Karen!!”

“Amazing family who took the best care of our 1.5yo dog! Felt so good about leaving our girl in their hands (and paws!) :) our Luna loved playing with sweet Murphy!”

“Like so many dog parents lost in the nerve wracking process of leaving your dog with someone new, we landed on Tonia. We scoured the listings and we made the RIGHT choice. She was very welcoming. We had a great meet and greet so Gus could meet her dogs and explore her space. Her house is very dog friendly and the yard is spacious and shaded. She was great at communicating and sending pics as well. Drop off and pick up was a snap. If you’re on the fence, jump on over and meet her. I would recommend to a friend and family and I would definitely use her again.”

“Amira was great! She was easy to communicate with and was super flexible with our ever changing schedule. She took great care of our dog and I would love to have her watch Bunny again.”

“Our cat gets sad (manifests as grumpy) when we are out of town and she is particular about who cares for her. Katrina was wonderful at meeting Lillian on her terms. It was evident that Katrina really understands cat behavior by Lillian’s response to her. She played, accepted pets, and moved around the house freely - behaviors not common with previous cat sitters. We will definitely hire Katrina again!”

She goes above and beyond for us and our cats, and is genuinely an amazing person!”

“Jen & Rob took such great care of my dog for day care weekly. He always came home happy, healthy, and exhausted (thank god, he is a high energy Aussie and needed to expel that energy!). Thank you, Jen & Rob for being a safe place for me to bring my dog!”

“Paige was absolutely amazing! From the moment we dropped off our pup, we felt confident that she was in great hands. Paige has a wonderful, open space where the dogs can safely run and play, and she kept us updated with photos and messages throughout the stay. It gave us such peace of mind to see how happy and well cared for our dog was. We’re so pleased with the experience that we’ve already booked with her again. We highly recommend Paige to anyone looking for a trustworthy and loving sitter!”

About: Hi my name is Patrice. I'm a veterinary technician who loves being with animals even outside of my normal work day. If I could I would adopt a million pets but unfortunately that's not an option. I take pride in being able to help care for pets outside of my own. There's nothing more fulfilling than being able to play with fur babies when the owners cannot do so because of work. I am able to provide exercise time, medication administration, ear cleaning, and basic grooming. If you are in need of any of the above services feel free to reach out to me. I would love to get to know you and your fur babies and develop a life long bond. Pet care fits into my daily routine perfectly. I'm always with pets even in my dreams. Rather I am walking pets or meeting up for grooming appointments, I'm always with pets. I get a background of the pets home life and mimic that while they are with me. Routine works best with most pets. When you switch up what they are used to they do not do well.
“Jenny and her family were amazing!! They took care of my dog like he was their own. He had so much fun and didn’t want to leave. Jenny also sent me awesome pictures of all the fun he was having. Thank you so much!”

About: I’ve cared for dogs of all ages, sizes, and personalities for family, friends, and anyone who needed a helping hand. In addition to pet sitting, I’ve also fostered dogs, which has taught me patience, flexibility, and how to help pups adjust to new environments. Every dog deserves to feel safe, loved, and understood, and I’ll care for your pet the same way I would my own I have a flexible work schedule, which allows me to give your dog plenty of attention throughout the day. Whether your pup loves long walks, playtime, or just having someone nearby, I’m happy to adjust to their routine. My partner and I are both very active, so if you have a high-energy dog, we’ll make sure they get plenty of exercise, enrichment, and love while you’re away. We are also currently a pet free home which guarantees your pup will come first, and reduce any fear of conflict. While we live in an apartment, it’s a very dog-friendly community with lots of green space, walking trails, and nature nearby, making it a great place for daily walks and outdoor time. I always prioritize your dog’s safety by following their routine, keeping a close eye on them, and making sure they feel comfortable and secure. I’m happy to accommodate crates, medications, special feeding schedules, or any other care your pup needs. My goal is to make them feel right at home and give you peace of mind while you’re away.
“Dottie goes to Emma’s all day, 3 days a week and just loves it! She gets so excited as soon as we pull in the driveway! Emma is responsive, helpful, kind, gentle and great with my little dog!”

About: Hello! I’m a Part-Time working Momma and we love animals! I have grown to enjoy dogs mostly. I’ve had a pet dog for a great amount of my life as well as other animals like rabbits, fish and snakes! Size or age doesn't matter, they are all fun. I love their energy and seeing how they interact with loved ones. I frequently help out family members with their dogs which includes bathing, walking, picking up their food and medicine. Taking trips or “car rides” are also a fav’ we partake in. Dogs are truly a pleasure to have and I would love the opportunity to provide care to your fur baby! I have open availability now and have one kiddo! We are up pretty early for school/sports and events so I am pretty flexible with boarding/scheduling! I have a fenced in backyard with lots of space to run and play. I also have a finished basement for those that are potty trained.
“My dog has such a great time when she’s here!! She gets all of her energy out and gets treated great! I love seeing my dog’s pictures at the end of the play date. Katie is the best!”

“We had some rocky communication difficulties in the beginning due to the app, but aside from that everything was great! Shanikka took great care of Daphne and sent me many photos and updates throughout the day. It was hard for me to find someone who was willing and able to watch such a young puppy and I’m very appreciative of Shanikka and her family. I will definitely be booking again in the future!”
About: I’ve taken care of many dogs of friends and families! I’ve boarded dogs with high energy, such as Australian Shepherds and low energy, such as senior dogs. I work from home, so your dog will receive all the love and care it needs! I am currently work from home, so I have all the time in the world to care for your dog! My job is very flexible, making it easy to tend to your dog’s needs. I am located at Factory 52 where there is plenty of areas to walk safely! Whether it’s around campus of Factory 52 or neighboring communities, safe sidewalks and clean up has been a top priority and safety for the dogs I care for. Additionally, there is an onsite dog park that is fenced for your pet to run freely!
“Rachelle is awesome! She really cares for my dogs needs and knows how to handle her reactivity to other dogs. She read the long list I gave her of info on our dog and sent multiple updates during the day. And she was able to handle my dogs quirky behavior really well (a mini dachshund). I really recommend Rachelle if you want ur dog to have more individualized care than just a boarding kennel. And Rachelle is really nice as well. I’ll be coming back for sure when we go out of town!”

“First time using Rover, and I was very nervous leaving my puppy alone with a stranger. Abby took great care of Archie and he had a very fun day! Will definitely be asking her to doggy sit again!”

About: Early 40’s year old sitter/walker with car. You could say I have 40+ years of experience. My family had a German Shepherd from before I was born and I was very close to her. There has been a stream of pets in my family. Including so so so many cats in NYC. Even going so far as to “rescue” a half feral one. Currently, I share ownership of a dog. As a small business owner of over 10 years, I am able to have a flexible schedule and spend more time hanging out with your pet(s). That said, I have a lot of experience managing other people, and I do have high expectations for clear communication from clients. I have never had a complaint from clients that already have human children. I am very clear about the kind of care I offer. For example, I clearly state I can do 4-8 hrs for letting out. That does not mean that when I get to the sit, you tell me you expect every hour. I also do not cancel other bookings so that you can be the sole client. I have been through that, obliged, and the client was still dissatisfied. I am running a business and the new owner of this app runs on harsh algorithms that hide you in search. Let’s try to be better and more human, than conforming to private equity and their bottom line. For the fur babies, I can follow their diet and pet or play or brush their hair. As long as you give me a list or schedule, I'll do my best to provide it. I have extensive experience with pets at all stages of life. (As well as other kinds of pets which I am open to caring for.) I understand the care required for a wide variety of needs and can do my best to provide reinforcement on current training, but I am not going to be attuned right off the jump to the nuances noticed by your trainer or you... I can reinforce sit, lay down, paw, stay, heel, rollover, or anything else. I can administer medicine. I am not formally trained in pet CPR, but I am trained in human CPR and have looked at videos for pet CPR. When I was younger I worked as a lifeguard, and have a remarkable natural ability to stay calm and act fast in crisis situations. This comes in handy, for example: when protecting my maltipoo from other dogs, managing territorial behavior, or keeping one dog out of another dog’s bowl. My schedule is flexible and I have a car. I have a small business and partial responsibility of my dog, so I do need to be able to run errands, go to meetings, or check in at home to keep that part of my life running. For extended care, and distance further than 5 miles, I prefer be given the option to stay over at clients for the sake of gas costs, time, and energy. First meeting and approach are important to setting a precedent, I first see if the pet will approach me. I like to offer my hand palm down for them to smell. Sometimes it takes a few times smelling the hand before they feel comfortable letting me pet them. In my opinion it’s important not to mess up first impressions with the pet. Spending time together builds familiarity bonds, being attentive builds trust. It’s important to build rapport.

About: I have had animals since I was 5 and started the learning process of how to take care of them at that age as well. Starting at 15, I started to take care of neighbors’ and friends’ pets when they have gone on vacation. I have experience and am comfortable with all sizes and ages of pets! I am able to train basic skills as well, such as sit, paw, lay down, and stay! I’m currently a full-time student who volunteers and shadows veterinarians. So most days I’m able to do three drop ins per day. In the morning before my classes at 9 AM, during lunch time, and then after 4 pm and the rest of my night is free aside from homework and studying! On the weekends I am more freely available aside from volunteering in the mornings some days and taking care of my own dog! I will give your fur baby love, cuddles, and proper care as if they’re my own! I would appreciate a list of what they are used to day to day so I can give them as close to their normal routine as possible!
“Siri is great! We did a meet and greet ahead of time and from the moment my dog met her, it was easy to see she understands and cares for animals. My dog can be shy with new people, but Siri has this calm confidence, and they connected immediately. Every walk was on time, with detailed updates and photos that gave me peace of mind knowing he was getting good care and happy. It’s good day when you find someone who treats your pet like their own, Siri is one of those special people. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, kind, and competent person to care for your pet.”

“Libby is a great sitter! She takes my dog on neighborhood walks or if time and weather permit, adventures to a nearby walking path. She's easy to communicate with and has made me feel at ease while I'm at work! Thanks, libby”

“Danyul is hands down the best person we’ve ever worked with to care for our dogs. He was reliable, professional, and incredibly easy to coordinate with. Communication was always clear and timely, and he consistently showed up exactly when he said he would, which made scheduling simple and stress-free. What really stood out was how much he genuinely cared about the dogs. He took the time to understand their personalities and energy levels and handled them with calm confidence and patience. We have two high energy shepherds, and he did an outstanding job with them this past week, making sure they got plenty of exercise and attention. It was a huge relief knowing our dogs were in such good hands. We completely trust Danyul and will absolutely continue booking with him. I would recommend him without hesitation to anyone looking for someone dependable, thoughtful, and experienced to care for their dogs.”

About: I've had dogs in my life for as long as I can remember, and that hands-on experience is what I bring to every walk. I understand dog body language, pacing, leash manners, and how to read when a dog needs a break or a bit more activity — not from a course, but from years of actually living with dogs day to day. I treat every walk the same way I would for my own dog: attentive, on time, and focused entirely on their safety and comfort for the full duration. Whether your dog is high-energy, a little nervous around new people, or just needs a steady routine, I adjust to what they need rather than running a one-size-fits-all walk. You can expect clear communication before and after every visit, so you always know exactly how things went. My schedule is flexible throughout the day, so dog walking isn't squeezed into a narrow window — it's a real part of my daily routine. That means I can offer consistent mid-morning, afternoon, or early evening walks, and I'm also able to accommodate last-minute requests or changes in timing without it being a scramble. If your schedule shifts week to week, I can usually adjust to match it. Safety is the first thing I think about with every walk. When I arrive, I double-check that all doors and gates are secure before I bring your dog out, and I make sure the leash and collar or harness are properly fitted before we leave — no slipping out mid-walk. I stick to routes I know well, avoid off-leash areas unless specifically asked, and keep a close eye on other dogs, traffic, and anything that could startle or spook your dog. I always carry water on hot days and adjust the pace or length of the walk based on weather and how your dog is doing that day. Before I leave, I make sure your home is exactly as I found it — doors locked, lights as they were, nothing out of place. If anything ever comes up during a walk, you'll hear from me right away, not after the fact.
About: I am active and love taking care of pets. I am adaptable and can work in any setting while still being very organized and on task. I am currently a college athlete at Xavier University and manage my course load along with my athletic commitments. While I do have a lot going on I have lots of downtime away from sports and school where I would love to spend it helping people out. I have 2 dogs, ages 5 and 7, that live in my home. I live in an area with easily accessible walking paths and parks while also have a yard for dogs to play in.
“Very accommodating when I needed to cancel day of because one of my dogs started to get sick the night before. Also went above and beyond to come over early before I needed to get to work to show me how a gentle-lead works and see how my dog would react to having it on.”

About: My experience goes back to being the go-to walker for our family dog as a kid to minding my cat today. It’s not unusual for me to meet a dog or cat and become acquainted in minutes I work from home with a flexible schedule. Therefore, I can be on-call at various times. I’m also used to fitting pet care for my cat into my daily routine. I make sure to follow all instructions laid out by the pet parent and get clarification wherever necessary, as well as communicate any issues that may arise.
“Video chat was a great way to do an introduction and walk thru for first time meeting. Loved the pictures and video sent, made me confident my dog was happy and well cared for. Will use again!”

“I am careful of who to take my lil ball of energy to especially over night stay. (Her first). And I was grateful and lucky to find Sandy. If you are looking for a sitter or someone to board your dog Sandy is the go to lady. She allow you to first go and have your dog meet her dogs and she's right on the ball. She has a huge back yard for the dogs to run around and even a pool to cool off. she's a great lady and keeps you updated on your dog. Sandy thank you so much for taking care of my ball of energy. I appreciate it a lot. She definitely be back.”

“I needed a place to board my dog for a night while my husband and I went to a wedding. Our dog has been to standard daycare facilities but isn't fond of being left alone so we didn't like the idea of her staying in a kennel. Alison was really accommodating and assured us that our sweet girl would get plenty of attention and play time with her own dogs, which is perfect because our girl loves to make friends. We were afraid that she'd have trouble settling in because she's very attached to us, but we were put at ease when Alison sent a picture of our girl sleeping on a comfy couch. They also made sure she had her allergy meds and food. This is exactly the environment and attention our dog needs to be comfortable being away from us for a bit.
