Information Breanna B. would like to know about your pet

Fears, likes, dislikes. Food allergies! If a dog is dog aggressive, gets car sick and so on. My Shiba’s are afraid of loud sounds and big dogs. (4th of July is an absolute nightmare for them). So I wouldn’t want them in an environment where they’re exposed to those things. I would try to do the same for other dogs.

A typical day

I’m comfortable with all dog breeds/ sizes/ temperaments. 100% guarantee we will find something fun/ amusing to do together! Every dog is different, so it’s important to get a feel for their temperament before planning trips. For instance my Japanese Akita did not like doing physical activities like hiking, he would rather cuddle and watch tv. My Shiba’s love hiking. So it depends. We love to visit local parks and explore. My youngest Shiba, Dai Dai likes to go swimming, and pretend to be good at hunting! Every morning the Shiba’s like to go outside in the garden to sun themselves, snack on edible white mulberry and summer squash, pretend to catch fish in the kiddy pool, and secure the perimeter from any threats.

Pet care experience

Hi, I’m Breanna thanks for taking the time to view my page! I have started an Instagram for photos of pet bookings if interested: breannaspetbookings. “If you can be anything, be inclusive” LGBTQ+ 🌈 friendly. I volunteer at local animal shelters/hospitals in my spare time. I have also volunteered at Wolf Creek Habitat multiple times. In the process of becoming a volunteer for the humane society of the United States. I am a college graduate from the University of Cincinnati with a bachelors of Science in Biology. I did undergrad research with spiders. Then went on to do research at UC with mice. Animals have always been apart of my life. I’ve cared for small animals like hamsters, rabbits, snakes, lizards, and fish as well as dogs and cats. At my home currently I have an 11 year old son, 3 Shiba Inu’s, and 1 Japanese Akita. We have a 200 gallon fish tank that is home to 2 bichir’s, and 2 Pleco’s. Over COVID I rescued my female Shiba Ahmya and raised a surprise litter of 6 Shiba Inu puppies! The most challenging part was saying goodbye to the puppies. I would have kept them all if I could. I am currently preparing to apply to grad school/ career change and have a flexible schedule. I also offer leash training, socialization, and anxiety training. I am really open to whatever needs you may have for your pets. My prices are negotiable on a case by case basis. Meet and greets are a good way to establish expectations for house sitting requests. Communication is key. My goal is to provide personalized, and excellent pet care so that your pets think of me as extended family. True animal lover since I was a kid. I’m comfortable with all dog breeds/ sizes/ temperaments. Flexible usually available on short notice, especially during the pandemic. Now more than ever I know how important it is to provide safe and dependable service for your pets when you can’t be there yourself. Currently pet care is a large part of my life, not just for my own pets but the ones I’ve been lucky enough to meet the last couple of years. I don’t think of pet care as work. I see it more as having relationships/friends that I see regularly. Extra services not listed in the app: I’m willing to provide transportation services for your pets, weather or be a trip to the vet, groomer, park, special requests. Running/biking/agility activities in place of walking. The cost of these services will be $20 for 30 mins or $40 for an hour or more. They can be booked on the app under dog walking and then relevant information/ instructions would need to be provided! Unusual animal/exotic animal sitting requests can be booked under dog since there’s no option for them on the app. Special needs information would need to be provided. Example: Pot Belly Pig, Koi fish pond, Chickens. Lots of care and attention is given to make pets feel safe and comfortable, that’s my goal and how I’d want my babies to feel. My dogs have a set schedule and know what to expect and when. They are treated like family and loved like children. When requesting any pet services it is super beneficial for everyone to make a time schedule/ expectations either emailed or texted prior to the sitting. As well as any food allergies, fears, behaviors, and general emotional/ physical needs.
